I am awoken from my thoughts when I hear a voice that I am familiar with, "Hi Kurayami!" I look over to see a smiling Winter with a tight fitting purple t-shirt and jeans. They outline all the curves of her body, making her very attractive to the eyes.
I blush slightly as I quickly divert my sight, shocking myself as I did it instinctively. "Hi Winter." I say as I look slightly to the left of her head, barely passing her head to make it look as if I am looking at her while speaking.
She walks over to the couch and sits to the left of me, leaving not much room between us. I can smell her pretty aroma as she sits beside me. As she gets closer to me, her tail starts to wag. I inwardly try not to laugh as it continuously hits itself against the couch, making a soft thud noise each time.
I suddenly remember something and pull out the pouch that I had my teacher get me and I open it up. "Winter, can you get us a large tray? I would but I don't know where they are." She looks at me, her hair flowing with her movements as she nods up and down with a smile.
She gets up and a few seconds later, sits down with a large tray and goes to hand it to me. "No, I won't need it, your the one that might need it depending on the situation." I say as I pull out multiple different colored stones from the bag.
She stares at the stones oddly as I hold a red stone and begin to tell her what they are. "Okay, these stones are able to check what affinity you have, if you have any." I say as her face begins to glow, "Does this mean I can figure out if I can use magic?" I nod, "Exactly. Now you wouldn't of been able to get tested so quickly if I-" I am interrupted by a sudden hug from Winter, a squishy sensation on my chest. "Thank you, I can't believe I am wear I am today, and it just keeps getting better, so thank you." She says as she hugs me the gratitude tangible in her voice. I hug her back, I'm not going to be rude, although I was tempted to touch her ears.
After a minute or so, she let's go and I can continue my explanation, although a lot happier. "Before you can use these, I need you to first imagine a container in your body, this container will hold all your mana." She sits there and closes her eyes before suddenly opening them, her eyes going from blue to green. I almost jump back from surprise and I see her smile.
"I finished imagining, what next?" I sit there, momentarily stunned, before coughing and continuing. 'I'll tell her after.' I think as I continue to to explain. "Now imagine pathways traveling from your mana container to your limbs, these can be anything you imagine. She closes her eyes again and when she opens her eyes this time, they are an amber color. She smiles with the brightest smile I have seen on almost anyone.
"Done!" She says as I stare at her in silence. She notices something is up and asks me, "What's wrong Kurayami?" I answer almost immediately. "Do you guys have a mirror?" I look over to Samantha and in return, Samantha gets up and opens a drawer, pulling out a mirror and handing it to me. "Thank you." I say as I show the reflective part to Winter.
At first, Winter notices nothing before she suddenly gasps, clearly showing her shock. "What happened to my eyes?" She says as she look at me. I scratch the back of my head, "I think it might of been the mana entering your system. But I think yours eyes are very pretty." I say as I blush slightly, she blushes even more than me and looks away, "Thanks."
I then hold out the red stone, "Your going to need this." She grabs it, although blushing and tries to focus on it, but nothing happens. 'She might not be channeling mana.' I think as I begin to explain. "You need to channel mana, even then, it might not work, but imagine your mana coming from your container and traveling to the stone in your hand."
"By the way, this is one will test if you have fire." She nods and focuses again, but nothing still happens. I nod and hold my hand out in which, she puts the stone in. I put it in the bag and hold out an orange one. "This represents the earth element." And she tries again, but nothing happens. We repeat the process with the wind, darkness, and light, then we reach the water element.
"This blue one represents water." She nods and holds it, clearly focusing hard before suddenly, a small waterfall of water begins to flow from the stone and onto the tray. She drops the stone from shock and I catch it midair. 'I don't know how fragile these are and don't want to find out.' I think as I see her momentary shock turn to sheer joy.
"I can control water!" Winter yells as she throws her arms up into the air.
