Chapter 48 - [Chapter 48] This Is A Problem

"What is odd?" The king asks with a worried look on his face. His mother looks over at him, "He is in another dimension, in a town called, Lycon...."

The king stands there, his face has a shocked look. 'He was able to do it, holy crap.' He hugs his mom and immediately starts jogging back to the throne room. He arrives to the throne room a little bit later and beckons for a man with a bag to his left to come closer to him after he sits down.

The Royal messenger is slightly shocked and hurried towards his majesty. Once he arrives beside him, he clears his throat while keeping his head bowed.

"Yes my king?" His voice is deep which contradicts his short stature and childish face.

"I need a to write a letter. The messenger nods hurriedly and pulls out a pen and a piece of paper. The pen glows slightly and the king writes down on it hurriedly before folding it up and slipping it into an envelope. He then hands it back to the messenger and stares at him as he says, "Take this to a man in a hood at 34 hendsworth street, and say it's a talon for the dead. Do it quickly and don't stop till he receives it."

"Yes my king." Says the messenger and he runs, using his wind magic to make him lighter and faster. 'I need to see her as soon as possible.' Thinks the king while he sits there, his hands nervously drumming the throne's arm.

"Wow, I still can't believe you two are such powerful creatures." Says Kurayami as he lays on his bed, petting Blossom and Winter. "Anyway, it's about time I talked with Elva, I want to clear things up with her, yeah she was kinda mean and overly confident, but she is my technically my sibling and I can't avoid her for the next few years." I swing my legs over and bounce off of my bed, walking towards the door. Winter grips onto Kurayami's arm and starts to crawl up him until he reaches his head.

Kurayami walks over to his door and opens it, walking out and shutting it behind him. Blossom bolts through before I shut it and stares up at me. We walk down the hall and I knock on Elva's door, resulting in her opening it slightly, "What?"

I smile and look at her, "I wanted to talk with you about a few things, I'll be downstairs waiting for you." I then walk down the stairs, Blossom in my heels, and Winter gripping tightly. Elva shuts the door, wipes off the few wrinkles on her outfit and walks out before quietly following Kurayami.

Kurayami takes a seat in the couch and Blossom jumps up onto my lap, surprising me slightly before I begin petting her neck, my hand flowing smoothly across her soft, silky fur. She purrs violently, showing that she enjoys her neck being pet. Elva sits across from me and I look at her, while she glances at me before continuing to look down at her lap.

"I wanted to talk with you to clean a few things up, first, I don't hate you, your my sister, not my enemy." She looks up at me, the fear in her eyes growing ever bigger. 'He doesn't hate me? Yet he broke all my bones? What if he did hate me? I might possibly not be sitting here right now.'

Kurayami continues, "I want to know a few things about you, why were you acting like that towards me, acting like you were better than everybody else? Where did you gain the thought that acting like that is okay?"

She looks up, too afraid to lie. "I always was told by my other friends that elves were superior, that we were the most powerful race, that all others were obsolete compared to us, and that I was the one that would lead them into greatness. They groomed my ego, made me feel as if I was better than the rest, I guess it got to my head. I even said I would accept to be their leader, but when you defeated me in that fight so effortlessly, I realized that they were wrong, that we were wrong. I'm sorry I treated you terribly brother. And I'm sorry how I treated our other siblings as well."

Tears start to form in her eyes, and she starts to talk faster, her voice getting angrier, "I have been so blind by the other elves' philosophies and thoughts and feelings that I forgot my family's own, I will try to be a better sister to you, and be someone who you will be able to look up to!"

I look sad on the outside while I was thinking thoughts of my own. 'I know she deserved it and was being egotistical but I guess it wasn't entirely her fault..... She might of even been holding a large burden trying to stay impressive even. I'm not gonna hold it against her, but those damn elves...their sanity isn't gonna last long after tonight.'
