Chapter 41 - [Chapter 41] What Is This?

They walk into darkness, until Sam hear's his feet clink on floor. All of a sudden, blue crystals in the ceiling light up, bathing a matte white hallway in blue light. He walks over and taps on the wall.

"What is this stuff?" He rubs it and retracts, it's cold to the touch.

She looks at him with a contemplative look, "We honestly don't know..." she raps on it with her hand, "...but not even dwarves can mold it, this material is a unique one that no longer exists, more or less the method of creation. Let's continue."

They walk down the hall, their feet clanking on the floor. The hallway gave off an elegant look. They passed many doors while she started explaining some things.

"From what we have gathered, this place is older than anything ever found. It was created by beings but from what we could decipher of their language, this was created by beings who understood magic better than even the king's wizards. This was found after our black market was created and no matter how old it is, the building is in almost perfect condition. This place consists of magic that we can barely understand and we had to learn from books they had about their past."

She looks away from Sam and then takes a left down when the hallway which splits into a T. When they reach the end, she holds her necklace up to the door and they enter a massive white auditorium with a stage at the front.

"And there are these pictures that utilize light magic, but this one, this one is how our faith was created." Sam looks up at the stage just to see a massive picture of light, showing a story on repeat.

"I'm...speechless....could you please tell me the story that is being described by the light?" She laughs and nods.

She walks up onto the stage and Sam sits in a seat in the front row. 'This place is magnificent!' She clears her throat and speaks, "There are two dragon gods, Salluma and Droke. They had a child who was a Dragonborn but had no scales and was bullied by other Dragonborn for it. This child disappeared from shame, bringing anger and grief to the gods and making them flood the world with their tears. These, primordials we call them, lived, but at a cost. Their old life was wiped from the world and they had to start anew, underwater. They had trouble with food and population with their current method of expansion, but they had help to solve these problems thanks to our gods' son, who reappeared after the water. He reappeared though in his purple dragon form, but with gills and fins. He decided to forgive them and help their dire situation. He helped them build an underwater civilization, he helped them expand. The gods, happy their son was fine and well, stopped their tears, but the world was flooded by now."

"But when their civilization was built, and they could sustain themselves, the gods' son disappeared once more, and wasn't seen again, until the waters were gone, the world was reborn, and the divine beasts were created, which is then when he reappeared. But when he reappeared, he reappeared as the dragon divine beast."

"But how was he not the strongest? He had godly power running through his veins." He sits there and starts contemplating.

She giggles, "You are correct. But you see, I had a talk with a past container and he said that he received a message from the gods to not use their power or he will be punished with something worse than death. He didn't heed their warning and used it anyway, leading him to be wiped from history, so I believe he had the same warning, just more leniency."

He looks up at her with disbelief, "But he is technically a god, how could the original user of died?"

She nods, "I have a theory on that myself. My theory is he existed here in a mortal body which contained his power but when he died, his soul traveled to the god realm while his power roamed the world, looking for a creature with a strong enough power to use it, but within the power is the power of the gods."

"Anyway, that is the end of our story but there is one more piece of information that has been discovered recently. We have a psychic in our agency and we had her do a fortune on the next container. She said the container that would be born during this age, would be capable of turning their lover into one of their kind."

His jaw drops, "To become a divine beast?"

She nods, "Surprisingly yes. Their age would revert, and stop completely. From my knowledge, our group are the only ones who know about any of this."

He sits there while she continues, "Droke was able to see the future after the primordial flood. So that would explain how he was able to know where his son disappeared the second time, but what makes this container different than the rest is still unknown to us besides this fact."

He looks up at her with his face full of confusion, "Why would you tell me this information?"

She smiles, "Because you should be informed. We have brought kids in that we assumed would be around the current user's age. They are currently training to be various occupations in our group, we will try to bring the user in and show them we are loyal to them, then we will offer suiters that he would like for him to choose. But first thing's first is to figure out their location and gender."

"Anyway, that's the end of the story, now we should leave, this place is sacred and must be taken care of to last as long as possible."

He nods and gets up to follow her, and as they leave the final entrance, she holds her necklace up to the door, and purple electricity comes from it, turning the symbol back to blue.
