"In all honesty, she hatched from an egg which I bought from someone. That is all I'm gonna say." She looks from Blossom up to my smiling face and blushes slightly before seeing Winter sleeping in my hood.
"What about that slime? When did you find it?" She tilts her head, asking with her polite voice.
"I found him on my porch and he is named Winter." I reach behind my head and awkwardly rub Winter's head, causing him to jiggle from purring. 'What is it with her and my familiars, speaking of familiar type creatures, I need to start building my army of shadows, maybe squirrels for now. Hehehehe.....' I start imagining a squirrel army spreading across a kingdom like a tidal wave. All the soldiers dying to squirrels.
"So what is your relationship with the slime, your Mocouger is a familiar which I can see but what about the slime?" She continues to gaze at the sleeping Winter in my hood, who is enjoying my body's natural warmth. I awake from my squirrel ridden imagination and gaze at her.
"Their both my familiars, even Winter here." She looks over from the sleeping slime back to me, her face contorted with confusion. "I have heard of one familiar but never two.....unless your a beast master." And her face lights up, "Are you?"
'She must really like animals.' I look at her and shake my head while raising my hands. "Sorry no, I'm training to be a mage." She looks slightly disappointed but then tilts her head, looking at me with a curious face. "What type of mage?"
I freeze up at that moment, 'There are different types of mages?' I look at her slowly, scratching my head awkwardly, "There are different types?" She giggles at my response to her question, "Yes, there are four types, would you like for me to go over them?" I shyly nod my head.
She gets herself ready and stares at me, starting to explain. "The four different types of mages are simple, the first one is a normal mage, these mages use their mana to create spells which manipulates their affinity. The second type are berserker mages, these mages use their affinity to cover their body and fight, although they are extremely rare and not many are heard of but when they are, they are usually legends. The third type is called body mages, they use their mana and affinity to instead strengthen their body and give them super human reflexes. The last is called a weapon mage, they use their affinity and influence it into their weapon, causing their opponents physical damage and elemental damage, although they are slightly more common than berserker mages, they require money because their weapons usually utilize mana crystals to control the mana flow. While many choose one, some will go for two and those who do usually fail, but some succeed calling them dual mages. So, with this information, what are you going to try to be?"
I think for a moment, 'I could definitely pull berserker off with my shadow armor and I think I could also try being a weapon mage. But I want to stay low in the Academy until I make a few friends because I don't want people leeching off of me because I'm powerful. So for now, I'll just say that I'm gonna be a body mage because I can then explain my fast agility, plus, my other abilities will be great trump cards.'
"I am training to become a body mage, what about you? Do you plan on being a mage?" The knight glares at me and says, "Please excuse me commoner, but if the princess talked with everyone like you, then she would not be princess, so please move on about your day."
I am slightly taken aback by his response but look at my watch and nod, I then bow slightly, "Sorry Princess, I must be going now any how, it was nice to talk with you." And then I turn around and start walking away, I hear the princess whisper a few things to the guard and then I see the guard stand back at attention. I could only imagine what she said.
I start walking towards the market and enter to see less people than last time and then I see a store with a neat sign on it. I enter and look around, there is a very large, rough man chopping up a large piece of what I can assume to be boar. He is so hairy that not even a werewolf could compete. I walk up to the man, "Do you have any chicken for sale?" He glances at me before setting down his giant knife, he speaks in a voice so chilling, even I shiver.
"I have a few in the back, how many would you like and how much?" I look at him, my legs feeling jumpy, "Three please." He disappears through a door and comes back out with three featherless chickens. As Blossom sees them, she licks her lips and her tail starts wagging slightly. 'Why is she wagging her tail, she is far from a dog.' He puts out his hand, "18 silvers." I hand him the 2 gold and he gives back 2 silver with his hairy hand, 'Wait.....that lady that sold me the apple ripped me off! And she was so pleasant about it as well! Son of a bi-' I start going on an internal swearing tangent.
