Upon waking up the house was a moody blue with a scrumptious smell in the air, my tummy rumbled.
The sounds of forks hitting plates watered my mouth, my primal insects sent me to both the origin of the sound and the smell.
I leaned in, with my hands on the dining room door frame.
Once getting my face in my chin fell with extreme shock.
The food was there but the room was empty.
A breeze blew in and I noticed the moonlight reflecting off of the big book on the middle of the table.
'That's odd, books don't shine.'
My hands rapidly and fingers nervously caressed the wall in search of a light flicker.
Once found it became nimble and ran away from my grasp.
As my heart started to accelerate and I started to feel my blood in my head splitting and my fingers numbing.
Abandoning all hopes of being stealthy, I stumbled in.
My hands not leaving the wall I searched and searched until I finally found it.
'Strangely low now don't you think?'
I pressed with all my might and the lights went on.
I congratulated myself with a huge breath of fresh air.
While calming down my horizon widened again.
The mouth watering smell of what lay on the table pulled me in.
Silver dishes.
Silver cutlery.
Black lace hankers and a white table cloth.
There were six white plates on the table and none of them reflected the moonlight. Why would I care that the lights were no longer on and that the moonlight only shone on a big book.
I was hungry and so I took a seat opposite the wall keeping the window and doors on my sides.
Dished up the rice, stew, chicken, coleslaw and pretty everything I could think of.
After coloring my ashete, I prepared to dig in.
At this point I can no longer keep my saliva contained nor can I silence my stomach.
But what really grinds my gears is that the bloody fork in my hand with a piece of meat was going nowhere near my mouth.
It's fraustraighting just thinking of the void swirling around in my stomach and echoing around the house.
My vision narrowed and my front view was like I was in a hangover montage.
As hard as I could I smashed the fork against the plate and broke it apart.
My screams flew through the hallways and brought back a laughter that crawled over my goosebumps .
I am not good with voices but this one was way too familiar to put off.
I had to think where did I hear this before, why was my body shivering at its presence.
It grew louder and louder.
And this time it reduced itself into a mere screech and oh dear lord was it devastating.
A huge bulking figure came into view on my left side and consequently the ground twerked.
It adjusted its footing once more and almost threw me off of my chair.
Its eyes burning bright red and whisker on it flapping around as if they were about to take flight.
A black coat covered it so much it was almost even invisible under the sweet song of the night.
My new enemy had now been confirmed.
