Puhaaaa~
Sitting in a sofa but was bigger than a normal one, the comfortable transparent smoke coming from the cup I was holding and the tastes of a tea I don't have any knowledge off--was exited out of my mouth. Phew, to think I could leisurely sip a tea inside this dungeon.
In front of me is the Boar Rhino calling himself Crypt, while from my side is this rotten elf. From the center of us is a cylindrical well-made table carved from stone and atop is another set of teapot for us.
Its been a while since I felt alive again. As for why our business is a Tea Shop to begin with is because of this feeling. The weariness is silently drifting away from ones body and the relaxation it gives is putting us away from our bloody experience as a soldier.
So Asashi as a leader-to-be, decided to build one. Its also because of his why we love drinking tea. I guess I should say that he influenced us in that regard.
That thought aside. While here I am indulging myself with this tea, the rotten elf gave the Rhino an eyeful of hostility who rooted in his sit.
I informed that this Rhino is indeed a monster(?) that their group once fought. What's more surprising is that, this group of elves is not dead but was imprisoned---rather, sleeping in one of the guest room in this so called, mansion. So he said.
Ahhh, I can't ask anymore. . .I want to own this place but this Rhino is unfathomable. I don't know if I can actually take him head-on. Ahh no, I know my limit so reckon I can't even win.
Good thing not one bit of hostility he produced in that big aura of his and instead has the vibes of neutrality. If this elf tried to start the trouble, he will die for sure so I backed down and didn't do anything other than indulging myself for drinking this tea here.
Ahhh delicious.
"May I ask what are you?"
The elf commented at last. He sip the tea a little and make it empty seconds later.
This dude is so thin that his pride is almost eating his body. Good thing he thrown that away and pour tea thereafter: "Oi leave some for me!" is what I said, realizing he didn't stop pouring after emptying his cup.
"Ha ha, amusing indeed. Actually I'm quite surprised"
Crypt gruff laughter echoes inside this room. Indeed, one could say that an appearance doesn't define you. This Rhino is quite cheerful I must say. He even really take a good care of the Kerbell who gave us what we need like a butler and a maid.
Although this is the first time I entered in a mansion as a guest, I must say that experiencing such as this is priceless. Ah I forgot, there's a certain castle I once entered so I guess that counts as one.
Welp, we're not here to fight to begin with and I felt that our time is running out.
Although he didn't answer the elf, I reckon this Rhino have something in his mind to tell us. So I only waiting to listen.
Again, the elf asks another question but added few: "May I ask what are you? who are you and why did you connect the Elven and Human realm?"
"Hmm, good question for a frail elf but I already answered your second question. As for the first and third question?---"
"I am of what you people are called, the Administrator"
Ah! I know, you really are the Boss alright!
"Not just for an elven tongue though but to all races that exists in this world, I am one of what you called, the one who governs" He announced. He really is one of the higher being, so he claimed.
Thanks to it, the tea is almost spill out of my mouth but still give my ears to listen while still drinking the remains. Of course the elf almost choke to death but all he do is the same.
"Our job is to make the system of the World---better, by not going to leave it from its track, for example: from worlds destruction, but nonetheless we are but a guide, an spectator, a watcher. So I was a bit surprised" He faintly looked at me.
"What do you mean by that? How is the connection between the human and elven realm related to this?" The elf rolled his eyes.
"Even If I tell you, you won't understand one bit and even if you insists, once you leave this dungeon you will only forget it as you don't have the role, big enough to bypass it---But this man here is an exception"
Me? I pointed my face while looking at him
"I'm sorry elf but I fooled you, your friends are all dead; and you? your role should be guiding the entities to form the connection and balance but this man here changed that destiny of yours"
Hah? why me again. And what entity is he talking about? Connection? Balance? Destiny? This story of mine is getting thicker than I thought.

Not long after, the Rhino guide us at the exit of the Mansion of his. By returning us inside the dungeon.
Yes, we informed that he will later leave this place and the ecosystem of this dungeon will return to its original state. Just like this elf, the Rhino give me the separate map which is actually useless in my part----the one from elven realm, and mine is the exit towards human domain.
If the connection that Rhino are talking about is the realm of Human and Elves. Then, I assumed that I can see another elf in the near future. But with this man's rotten personality? I guess that won't happen. If elves are like him, then there's no way the bridge will connect and instead it will destroy and war might broke out. For the record, an elf calling their domain as realm is mainly because they shut their door from other races. As for the reason? As if I know. So for me, theirs is either a domain or a realm is the same.
Walking at the exit towards the Elven realm thereafter, the elf bid his farewell but he asks for a final favor. Of course I plundered his equipment as a reward---Bow, arrows and his Quiver. He's not that energetic after the final talk with Rhino especially after hearing that his comrade are all dead, so maybe this will be the last time we met. Well, I'd rather not meet him again in this lifetime.
As for his final favor? Yes, I'm sure now that we'll never met.
He wanted me to destroy the portal that connects this dungeon to their domain. I don't know why I happily oblige but one thing is for sure. I'm happy to what I reap! Ahh business!
After destroying their portal by cutting the twig that's holding this luminous light, the portal is now gone for good, adding, I also covered it with rocks by destroying the ceiling. After then, I continue the hunt. The Kerbell we killed started to emerge one after another while at the other end of the second tunnel, there's the skunk-like monster who also emerged, with the height above my knee. Its fur instead is a tiny needles of emerald color as it starts digging. They're Scubily according to that little girl's mom. Other than Scubily, there are two other kind of monster but I don't care as they're not my target to begin with.
Wait. . .you want me to get this monsters and only their goo?! I asks while the said monster is now gone out of my sight.
Well, at first it was hard to timing their digging time but its easy afterwards, they won't come out when Kerbell exists or dig to hide their body, so I first kill it then captured the Scubily and when it tries to run away, it spit goo so my item is ready to catch everything it spat.
After another hour or so. The cylinder glass inside my dimensional pouch has now full of goo, so I exited this dungeon at full speed.
After arriving and before the dungeon exit, I couldn't help but to look back. . .
Remembering the same moment after giving us the map, the Rhino pointed his long nails on my forehead and said: "I'll give you a mission, Unbridled one"
I don't know why he called me that though. . .
"---Because you already reached the border of the track, everything you did might not just affect the future, it will also create multiple ripples so I give you this mission to atleast make you remain inside this track, still, I don't know if it is the answer"
His words are different yet the same as what my grandma wanted to imply. closing my eyes by half, I understand only a little bit of this information. I'm still not sure but the answer might lies at the mission he gave.
