Kana looked at me with concern, "Hugo there is nothing but static… maybe something is there but all I hear is static," she said out loud.
I looked at her confused and then looked around the room with everyone giving me the same look, they couldn't hear the voice. I grabbed Kana and pulled her up to my chest in an attempt to convince her. Kana looked up at me slowly more confused than ever.
"Hugo I can't hear anything, you should see a psychiatrist" she recommended.
I just looked down at her and gave her a weak smile then dug my hand into my chest out of desperation. Next thing I remember is being in a dark never ending room, there was one thing that struck me as odd and it was a glowing ball with a name. I moved closer to read the name and it said Chaos, I wasn't sure what it meant but I knew it was someone's name and as I thought of that I got the feeling there was something on the back and turned the ball to see the name parágo.
The voice came back but it sounded closer and louder, "what is your true name?" The voice demanded, "it will be Kek," it continued.
The fear I felt before was all gone, my body forced me up and I finally managed to speak to the angry voice, "who are you to tell me my true name?" I asked angrily. I finally saw a face to go with the voice and looked straight into its eyes that were an endless abyss, "I know my name and if you want to call me by something different then take it up with my secretary" I joked.
"You lowly being, how dare you speak down to me… I will strip you of your name and leave you powerless as you ascend to something greater," the giant head nearly shouted.
I held my ground as knowledge began to flood my brain, I realized what had just happened and realized how to return, "I'm sorry laddy but you didn't grant me my name, I did and therefore you cannot revoke it," I said then swiped my hand and returned to a screaming Kana.
There it was once again a familiar sizzling flesh smell, I sighed and just laid there thinking about what just happened. Hugo is just a normal name but the other two what were they? I killed myself to find answers but came back with more questions.
I felt something dripping down my face prompting me to snap back to reality, Kana was looking at me with teary eyes. Kana looked perfect at that moment, she looked like a real goddess. I couldn't resist but comment, "you're truly beautiful."
She let out her last sob before resting her head on my chest listening to my heart beat very slowly, "WHY!?" she screamed.
I looked into her eyes and wiped her tears, "I needed answers but I came back with more questions" I answered.
"You killed yourself, you were dead for an hour… look around and look at where you are" She nagged.
I didn't really notice before but I was in a hospital bed, I didn't really know why I wasn't in the morg until a doctor came in.
The doctor looked confused because I was back from the dead, she looked at my wound and it was all but gone at this point.
"Hello… I'm Dr. Misty and looks like your girlfriend was right that you would come back to life," she told me.
I looked at her and gave her a smile, "wouldn't be my first time" I commented.
She ignored me and looked at my medical record only sparing me a few quick glances every so often, "from what I can tell you are supposed to be dead… would you say that's accurate?" Dr. Misty asked.
I rolled my eyes and repeated myself "this isn't my first time, I did mention that, did I not?" I asked sarcastically, now visibly annoyed.
She looked at me catching on and quickly thought up an excuse to leave, "um, I'm going to go look something up."
I sighed and looked at Kana who had been staring at me since I woke up and stroked her cheek. Kana squirmed a little, "your hands are cold" she mentioned.
I pulled back a bit and got surprised by a growling stomach, I quickly looked at her blushing a little, "are you hungry?" I asked gently.
She looked down and back at me as she remembered something, "why didn't you say anything when she called me your girlfriend?" she asked without hesitation.
"I noticed you in here but no one else so I didn't see any harm in them believing we were together" I answered, "besides I kind of like the sound of that," I continued and smiled down at her.
She blushed but didn't look away, she just stared at me with her beautiful violet eyes as if they were peering straight into my soul. She didn't skip a beat and crawled into my bed with little hesitation.
I didn't hesitate, I even moved over and let her in, then my nose picked something up prompting me to stare at her with a mischievous grin, "miss Kana it seems like you're a little too happy that your panties just went through a little crisis" I teased.
She looked at me and her face turned beat red, "I didn't mean to, it just happens in these situations… not like I've ever acted on these things, I'm still a virgin and I plan on staying pure for a little bit longer" she explained.
"I can take care of it if you want," I suggested.
She looked away and whispered "your hands are too cold."
I turned on my side and embraced her, "I'm only joking but can you warm me up a bit, it's a little chilly."
