The time went in a flash and everything could be said to be on track for Daeho, it had been a very monotonous time for him but he enjoyed this time, it was rewarding to see the results where you placed your sweat and tears to, somehow he had gotten so accommodated on this routine that he was looking forward to the time he spends learning from the various instructors.
No questions could be asked about how much he developed. He was getting softly stacked with many new abilities. If he debuted right now, there wouldn't be an issue in the terms of skill and professionalism. Daeho had developed a very compact set of rules for himself. Most of his skills had grown to a stable 60 just taking out English, Korean, which he basically just studied when he was reviewing what he had done at school at the end of the day. Rapping was the very thing that was lacking behind by a lot, only hitting the 50 mark now.
He had spent 1 month with this life, just basically training, and working hard on improving himself. After the meeting with the chairwoman, Daeho began having group dance training too. Which he only now began to have a hang of things.
Coordinating yourself with people you barely knew was awkward, to say the least, Daeho had thought that he would fare well on this project from the get go but reality hit him hard like a stone.
Dancing alone is a completely different thing than with a group of people, he had danced with Oliver, Jun, and Allan but it was just not at the strict level of what he had been doing now. It was quite embarrassing in the beginning. Since Daeho has the top trainee was the one being scolded the most and disrupted the tempo of the group. Nothing that a week of Liz's training hadn't fixed.
For the other trainees, these episodes had been quite the treat at first, but as the weeks went by and they saw the evolution and progress, they all began to accept him. Jealousy was actually a hard thing to describe and nothing was as enlightening to the rest of the trainees as the noticeable progress shown each time they grouped together to train.
Daeho had listened to some of the conversations of the trainees, and recently they were all up with compliments and admiration. Nothing over the top but it was something that made him proud, building another motivation for his excessive hard work.
Today, the 26th of November would be the very day of the first recording of the company MV. And Daeho followed by the rest of the recording crew were on an abandoned property, the company had purchased this plot of land long ago, yet hadn't been used until now. The place was quite isolated from everything, and barely anything else other than expansive greenery could be seen other than the rundown mansion. The inside of this mansion was dusty and gave off a chilly vibe once inside. But other than that, it was a very nice place, it could be seen that it was a place that had a lot invested into it in the optimal condition.
''Okay everyone. Let's get to work.'' Said a man clapping to bring attention to himself. ''Are the cameras set up? Lighting in place?'' The man just kept going on verifying if everything was in place. After he confirmed that things were like he wanted the man turned to Daeho smiling.
''Daeho right? I want you to not break eye contact with the camera. Just stare at it while your dancing, you got me?''
Daeho nodded.'' Yes sir.'' He was actually very nervous and anxious, he felt his heart beating hard as if threatening to come out, it was taxing for him to cope with the thoughts in his head at this point. Daeho had grown to be confident about his ability but when he thought about what if he failed and how the crew was investing their full effort in the work, it was a different feeling.
Something he hadn't felt before. So he got into place and was ready to work or somewhat.
''Okay, let's begin this shooting session.''
After hearing the voice of the director once again. Daeho exhaled the air on his system and tried to get in place. And began dancing while trying to do what the director had told him.
'Just focus and look at the camera' Daeho thought.
But right after he heard the familiar voice belonging to the director. ''CUT''
Daeho tensed up, and he turned his eyes to the director who was walking in his direction. Stopping right in front of him, just staring at him with his eyes narrowing.
''Okay Daeho, relax we can't do this if you are all tensed up as if someone is going to hit you... Just breathe and look around you.''
Daeho just did what the man said and took as much air as he could, inhaling and exhaling. Once he stabilized his breath he saw the many cameras facing him.
Before he could question the man had stepped in once more. ''We are a team right now, and they want to show the world the best of you, while you should think about creating the opportunities to bring to highlight their abilities too. Just trust them, there is no rush. Just be natural and think of it as training. Okay?''
Daeho nodded and closed his eyes and brought himself to focus.
''OKAY SHOOT.''
