Chapter 34 - School

Well, I can't track the people anymore, I'll just thank you all for the stones, so many different people giving stones too, the regulars as always too, thank you.

I don't know If I should accelerate things... People want to see the shows and everything.

-------------------------------------------------

Just like that the 3rd of October came, for others, it is just another day of life, but for Daeho it was supposed to be his first day of school.

He woke up like normal and brushed his teeth and splashed cold water on his face, this in October felt horrible since the weather is starting to turn even colder than September.

He went for his usual routine, even though it was freezing cold outside, it was fortunate that he was exercising, so he warmed himself with the many exercises and reps he had to do for the day.

Nothing much changed after the day the ranks were announced, nothing would be an understatement since now he was even more in the eyes of the people of the company, but it didn't bother him since the look they gave him was completely different than what they gave him before.

Before they gave him looks of judgment, disgust some times or rage, and it could be understood what they felt. Daeho knew just how much favored he was being in the company, but it was because he had that much value to the company, and that is something people around didn't understand, in the standpoint of working towards your dream and watching someone being obviously favored, the feeling could be understood.

After the video was posted on a ranking day, people changed their view of him, recognizing him, well a major part of them did. Since he had stumbled a lot on the Vulcano guy who would sneer or click his tongue once he saw him. He didn't quite understand why but it was something he just brushed off. So it could be said that the video had a major impact on the view of the many trainees on him.

It was great since Daeho didn't want to train and come to a place where people would throw bad looks at him, besides the industry in itself could be a rather bad place and there were many battles behind the scenes, after all the moment there is a ranking system and awards that are bound to happen, and having enemies in your company was rather sad in itself, or unsettling for the most part a little slip can ruin your career.

His agent Sangmi became even more attentive to him and would come to see him more frequently after the day the ranks were announced, she was a rather serious person but she was a caring person, for the most part, taking out the part where she would give him a half hour discourse on how he should rest since, the moment she became more attentive to him she figured out his overly busy schedule.

It was Sangmi who made his plan for the start of classes for maximum efficiency. The fact that he told her that he would go to school brought very good news, and the company negotiated with the school and he managed to only have school in the mornings, leaving the rest of the day empty for training.

It is good news since if he had school from 8:00 to 6:00 it would be disastrous for his career. He knew most of the things that the school taught anyway, so as long as he has above average grades there won't be a problem.

Somehow Daeho thought of the Principal of the school as a pushover... Poor dude seemed like he had no hand on the school, but who was he to complain.

Talking about school, today would be the first day of school for Daeho, in this world obviously.

Former Daeho had private lessons, and that allowed him to skip the year when he had debuted because the kid was actually smart and caught up with what was taught and finished everything rather quickly. The homeschooling system is a rather complicated thing to be explained. You have school at home but you have to do the final exams at a school and the evaluation would go from there.

Since he was in another city, his mother decided to enroll him in a school. Daeho somehow was suspicious of this sudden action, she was hell bound on homeschooling him and now here she just decided to enroll him? Something was fishy here but who was he to care. Being in a school was a good thing for his career. It meant that he had to do what other kids his age did coupled with his trainee work. And if he was home schooled people would throw that at him, saying he had preferential treatment and it would bring discord to his image. And these 2 years, 11th and 12th grade were frenetic in the sense of exams, and college enrolling, stressful years for students.

Daeho had received his uniforms the day prior, and there were 3 colors for the uniforms used, Pink, black and blue. It was weird for a school to have so many uniform variants, but in a world where money was a major part of things, this system was actually pretty profitable, since people liked to be fresh from time to time, and just the strict conduct in the way you had to dress the uniform was enough for the school it seemed. As long as you didn't disrupt the dress code you could dress anything really.

It was an amusing way of making business while installing orders in the school, but well who was he to complain or even think about those things.

He had big plans for the future and school was not inside of his plan, since he wouldn't have time once he debuted, hopefully.

After his morning exercising and doing everything on the list from singing to breathing, Daeho showered with his cat. Nisha was a lover of water and she would already be in the bathroom once she realized he finished his morning training schedule. Daeho wanted to give friends to his little kitten Nisha, after all, she would be alone in the mornings and this broke his heart. He had a major soft side for his beautiful feline, and although he knew Nisha was very independent and as long as she had food and something to watch she would be okay, it was unsettling for him. So in order to check up on his cat, on the breaks, he installed a camera system on his house. They were noticeable and linked to a Plasma he bought and placed in his room. Truth be told it took a toll on his wallet since in total everything was around 2500 WC.

So he was left with 500 WC from the money his mother had sent him. Coupled with the money he received from his videos, that brought it up by 700 WC's. Overall, he was in a stable situation, and with his video views growing, there would be nothing to worry about in the end, 800 WC to live the month taking out the money for the rent already, was enough to live for the entire month.

Nisha enjoyed watching things on the plasma so it was a good investment, link the computer and cameras to the Plasma and play a long drama for her, and it was all set up. Then at school, he could just open an application and he could see the view of the cameras, coupled with a video call system. A very good investment.

It was really overboard in a sense and Daeho knew that but it was the best course of action.
