I sat across from my father glaring at him, waiting for him to give me an update on the search.
"The search hasn't found out anything yet, but they're going to keep looking, they hope to look in the shadow realm but we need your help."
I stood up and stretched.
"Alright, let's go."
We walked out of the house and my father's car was pulled around. The man got out and opened the door for us.
I sat down beside my father awkwardly. I'm still extremely pissed off at him for abandoning me. I always wondered about him and my mother told me he was a great person but now I'm not so sure.
After an awkward hour, we pull into an underground parking lot that appeared to be under a building.
My father took out a suit.
"Put this on."
I snapped my fingers and suddenly the suit replicated onto me.
I got out of the car and walked towards the elevator with my father. When we got in, he mumbled for a second as he checked his pockets until he pulled out a keycard.
When he scanned it he swiped it and the elevator starts dropping quickly. I held on as the force almost lifted me off the ground.
When the elevator stopped the number on the elevator showed "666"
"Yes son, welcome to hell."
When to door opened a beautiful place of fire and lava-filled my eyes. I looked towards to vast forests of fire, the sea of lava, the black-filled sky and the demonic animals.
"Why didn't you take me here before?"
"Because I thought it would be too hard seeing you after all those years of you thinking I was dead... but It had to be done."
"But you see, it didn't."
"My boy, there are plenty of things you don't see, You are still young and uneducated about demon culture."
I growled and walked out of the elevator.
"So, where are we going?"
He walked ahead of me and walked down the stairs of the damned. As I stepped I heard dark whispers coming from the stairs.
"What is this?"
"The stairs of the damned... They're made up of the worst people in history and they serve as a reminder to people where they are..."
We got to the bottom and a portal opened up.
"Come on," He gestured for me to come through.
I followed him and suddenly we were in an office.
My father sat down and noticed a black folder on his desk.
"This is odd... I haven't seen one of these in a very long time..."
I looked over at him, "Seen what?"
"A black folder means something happened in the shadow realm... This never means anything good."
He opened the folder and suddenly a small flame came out and formed into a man.
"Sir, we have confirmation of a breach in the shadow realm, but that isn't all... It appears one of the ancient souls has disappeared... The soul is of the old leader of the Pash Ka Ni... Their god."
My father's eye grows wide.
He pushed a button on his desk and suddenly 2 giant demonic messengers walked in.
"Quickly! Run to the High Angelic Council! Alert them of the Pash Ka Ni Threat amassing! Gopnik is back! HURRY!" The messengers ran out.
"If the Pash Ka Ni have Alex, we're all in trouble. Once Gopnik has fully restored herself, the war between Us and the Pash Ka Ni will start again!"
I got up.
"I'm going to the High Angelic Council myself. I have an Angelic portal device in Alex's stuff."
My father looked dumbfounded.
"They'll kill you!"
"Not if they see my true form..."
I started to shift into my demonic form and before my father could say anything I used the device and found myself shrouded in light.
I opened my eyes and stood outside 2 giant, white, ethereal gates.
The Smoke radiating from my body started to fill the space around me. I began walking to the gates before they opened and I was met by a vast amount of Angels.
"WHO ARE YOU! STATE YOU NAME IS BUSINESS, DEMON!"
"I demand the speak to the Council." My voice radiated through the entirety of heaven causing many of them to shake.
"You are trespassing and you will not enter Heaven Eternal." A white lit Angel flew forward above the army.
"It is urgent regarding the Pash Ka Ni."
The Man smirked and came forward.
"Why should I trust a stupid, ugly, disgusting Demon."
I smirked back.
"Because you're looking at the most powerful demon in history."
The laughed before getting into a lazy battle stance.
"Don't kid yourself, you're weak like all demons and you will die like all demons."
I smiled before whispering.
"You have no idea what I'm capable of..."
I let out a heavy breath as more black smoke poured out of my body completely covering me. I felt a new kind of power flowing through me as it completely filled my body. I felt myself growing bigger before I broke out of the black smoke and towered over the gates.
A siren starting ringing as I saw the army getting ready to fight.
"I'm going to say this one last time... I will speak to the council and you will stand down."
"Fine." He said.
I shrunk back down to my normal size, then into my human form.
He sighed before escorting me through the crowd.
After a bit of walking, we walked towards a glass dome with a beam of light coming out of the top.
We entered in and he approached the podium before bowing.
"Sir, this Demon has urgent news regarding the Pash Ka Ni..."
8 white lights appeared and in the middle, a man stood.
"Speak now."
"Gopnik has returned..." I quietly said.
The man went from relaxed to shocked and the white lights formed into people.
"What do you mean Gopnik has returned?!" One of them screamed towards me.
"Our team in the Shadow realm confirmed it... Gopnik is gone and believed to be roaming the earth again."
The Man raised his hand to silence everyone.
"We will assist you in your quest to kill the Pash Ka Ni, but just know one thing..."
"What"
"We won't be much help..."
"Why is that?" I looked at him puzzled.
"Because... The Heart of Heaven, is dying..."
