TEMPLE OUTSIDE COAST CITY
The sound of breathing could be heard within the at the outer caverns of the temple within the outskirts of coast city as Barry Allen could be found in a meditation position with his eyes closed and his hands holding onto a hand sized diamond shaped stone breathing slowly he focused deeply on his positive emotions as yellow lightning crackled around the stone slowly began to rise into the air as yellow lightning moved around it and began changing from yellow to orange then green and purple then finally blue furrowing his brows in deep concentration the lightning around him changed from blue to blood red and black as he focused on his negative emotions with the area around Barry began to slowly decay and die Barry gritted this teeth as sweat began to come off from his body due him focusing on this negative emotion and the exertion of his lightning changing slowly concentrating on his powers Barry began to slowly contain the feral channeling white lightning through it as it began to scream like it were alive and to slowly fade away silence could be heard in the area as tranquility had returned "congratulation disciple it seems to have successfully overcome the dark in your heart" a voice called out as Barry opened his eyes to face his master Buddhist temple mistress lee "thank you master" Barry said standing up glancing at the rock now dust in his hand no need to thank me disciple allen all I did was set the path for you and you followed" but if it wasn't for you and the speed force I would have never come as far as I did" he said "why that is true you had also played a part in it and confronted your fears and now you've grown past it" "and that's all thanks to your teaching master " that is true but before you leave I have something for you so meet me in my office before you go and you really need to take a goo bath you stink" she pointed out "oh um I will see to that" Barry said flustered as he immediately went to his room for a bath "urgh that's good" he says entering the hot bath that one of the monks must have prepared for him "has it really been one week and a month since i got here and it's been really hard for me and master lee is not push over when it comes to training and to top it all off the news that the speed force had told me was unexpected'' he thought sighing as he remembers his discussion with the speed force when he came here.

Lying down in his room Barry struggles to find the right position to sleep "these beds aren't comfy at all but then what was I expecting from an old monk temple he though as sleep began to descend on him finally he thought as he drifted to sleep hello Barry a voice calls out and he opens his eyes to see his mom "huh mom" he says as he looks around and notices he's in his old room "not quite" she chuckles "speed force what I'm I doing here have you finally to berate me for abandoning my post as the flash and take my speed cause if you are you are free to take it, it's not like I care anymore he says in a huff "no Barry that's not why you're here" it says with a frown "then why am I here then" he questions "am sure you had noticed that you had gotten a new set of memories when you were coming to coast city" she states " yeah I need why is that" " well for starters you had cut your connection to us while in prison but once you were out and began using your speed the memories started returning and now to explain why you have these new set of memories we must first start at the beginning when there was a first disruption within the time stream" wait you mean like flashpoint" Barry pointed out yes flashpoint was one of the reasons why the timeline has changed but the main cause was when Eobard Thawne had time travelled that night to kill your mom before her expected date" "wait so your saying that my mom stills dies no matter what he said in shock and anger "yes" she replied solemnly "WHY WHAT DID I EVER DO TO DESERVE SUCH A LIFE" he yelled "Barry I'm sorry but her death was fated to happen no matter what" "why what did she ever do to deserve such" "nothing Barry but it had already been predestined" "by who, you?" Barry said angrily as he glared at her ""no not by me but by a higher power one that even we cannot question" "and why would this higher power want with her death, my father's incarceration and my suffering " for you to accept your destiny and become the flash" "oh so that's it huh so what if I don't want to be the flash" "Barry have you ever thought of a world without the flash" she questioned "what, why does that have to do with anything" "just answer Barry" "no I haven't" "well you see in a certain timeline the world goes to hell as the flash is one of the key components in making sure that the world survives" "how I don't understand how me becoming the flash matters" "in the future or rather a future the flash is a founding member of a group of heroes called the justice league and they take on evil that threatens to destroy the world" she explains as the room begins to change as an image of a group of heroes is shown fighting different people a green looking alien within tentacles, an army of aliens who look like beetles, a pale looking being in some sort of amour who looks to be devouring a world and a dark being who radiated death with an omega symbol on his chest with red glowing eyes that sent shivers down Barry's spine and the flash no matter what future or timeline has always been a member of the justice league and without him well the league doesn't come together or it comes together only to then fall apart" with a background changing again to show a justice league without the flash slowly be taken down by their enemies " or the flash dying before his time and it turns the league dark and into the justice lords" with the background changing once more to show an evil version of the league is shown with different clothing's as they are turned into dictators who kill and show little to no mercy to their enemies so what I am trying to say Barry is that the flash is an essential key figure needed in the survival of the universe" she explained "ok I get it that me being the flash is important to the survival of the world but what does it have to do with whatever is going on with the time stream" "you see there was originally one time line before the original time line the one where your mom had lived till you were 12 but would then be killed on your thirteen birthday by robber in your house and framed your dad years later you became a csi so you could find the man and have him arrested but later that night in your lab you got hit by pure speed force lightning as the particle accelerator itself hadn't malfunctioned and was properly turned on and you would become the flash and take down bad guy but over the years you had mistaken time traveled to the 31st century and had met Eobard thawne you had taken a liking to him and began to teach him as he was your biggest fan and had even recreated the events that made you the flash and became a speedster but you had noticed that he wasn't all too good as he had created crimes and had endangered only to come and save them feeling like his a hero but when you found out you were livid and you had not only beaten him and severed his connection to us but you had exposed him to the public damaging his reputation, cost him his job, his wife and unborn child leaving him and his family disowning him" w-what why had I done all these" Barry asked in shocked at what he had done to thawne's live "no wonder he hates me so much" he thought "because the Barry allen of that time line grew up with strict morals especially with him being a csi had a sense of duty to uphold law and order and was also angry about the fact that he was tarnishing the flash legacy" she explained but if that time line had been erased why had future me warned me not to save my mom then and why is thawne still alive I mean with him changing the time line isn't he supposed to be dead" "hm when future you had chased thawne to the past after he learnt of your name due to him being connected to us he had seen the changes that would occur that's why he had prevented you the first time from creating flash point so as he carried you're past self away he had faded away and as for thawne when he created our negative version it had the ability to protect him from the changes to the time line and it also wrapped his mind so he as he became more unstable every time he used it" she said so you mean to tell me that thawne had somehow figured out a way to create a negative version of you how" "we really can't explain it due to certain laws but what I can tell you is that his negative speed force is artificial and it can destroyed" " an artificial speed force" "how can you destroy something like that" "we cannot tell you that also but if positive and negative instead of attracting it would repel" she said "that means if I charge up enough energy I can fry his cells and the negative speed force in his body" "but what of my version of thawne" he said as the thought occurred to him "oh that hes dead, he died when eddie shot himself" "but didn't it also erase thawne" "yes it did but due to negative us managed to piece himself back together and still survive" "so the negative you is like orochimaru to sasuke curse mark" he said "well if you put it that way then yes" she said smiling thoughtfully "well isn't that great" Barry thought bitterly I really need to find a way to end him completely" now back to the main reason I brought you here she said grabbing his attention when you had created flashpoint you had unknowingly ruptured the time stream changing everything so when you fixed it back things weren't the same and time stream was becoming unstable but we had managed to fix everything but by you and thawne's meddling you have potential damaged your timeline and sent your earth down to oblivion" "what do you mean" Barry asked alarmed at what he just heard "I would explain it but it would be to tiresome so why don't I show you" she said as she walked up to Barry and poked his head as he was immediately assaulted with memories of 2 timelines the first of what was to happen if Barry meddling with time hadn't caused such a backlash he saw himself , team flash and "wait ralph dibny isn't he supposed to be dead" as the fought devoe and own as it then changed to him and iris meeting their future daughter and was happy with her till he found out she was working with thawne, him leaving nora in the future his and iris fight where she says she doesn't care about the things thawne had done to him "bitch" how he also defeated a psycho meta killer called cicada and his anti meta human dagger and how he had freed thawne by destroying the dagger, their race and how because of his daughter changing his future she faded away "damn you thawne, damn you to hell" then it later cuts to him fighting a man who could control blood and had controlled Barry but he had been playing him and then defeated him it then cuts to Barry and a group of heroes fighting a monster who was devouring the multiverse "isn't this one of the villains the speed force showed me" it then finally shows Barry running on a treadmill in order to stop the destruction and how he slowly disintegrated "wow that was unexpected" "and now this is the timeline you've created" she said with her hands still on his head "wow is that the batman" he thought as saw the batman fight his rogues gallery and how the joker killed his side kick robin and the bat went bat shit crazy(pun intended) and murdered the joker while he had brutally crippled bane, mr piggy, scarecrow, two face the mad hatter, victor zsasz and fire fly while the rest of his entire rogue gallery had fled gotham for safety of their lives "damn that's tough, wait bruce Wayne is the batman that's impossible" Bruce then relocated elsewhere leaving gotham as it descended into chaos next he saw was super a male version of super girl only with black hair "thats probably the cousin she had spoken about when we met after the dominators fight" he saw as he had questioned his earth parents about where's his from and how his dad had told him not to reveal himself cause the world would be afraid of him so when a tornado was about to kill his dad he had told him to keep hiding instead of saving him and had died then later showed him cleaning up his ship as he found a crystal which had teleported him the artic and it had created some sort of fortress, he had met this kryptonians father AI which had instructed to go out and save the world but he refused following his earthly father advice saying that the world isn't ready for him and left to stay on the farm with his mom and then later became a reporter for the daily planet but still refused to come out and save the world "hmm that's not right he shouldn't run from who he is instead he should embrace it" he then saw kara meeting clark and explaining her situation and trying to convince him to be the hero the worlds need clark was skeptical about the entire situation but decided to listen to her and began protecting metropolis from the shadows as people began to call him the blur. While learning about he's kryptonian heritage and language. the next was of an Amazonian princess who had left her island to protect the world but the man she had met on her island had cheated on her and left abandoning their relationship becoming resentful she became reclusive and forgot about the world only focusing on her job as a curator in Paris "so sad" the next person was a man who like clark was running away from who he was, he was Arthur curry the aquaman a man born of both land and sea as his mother had tried to convinced him to take the throne of Atlantis so as to usher in a new reign of peace but he was adamant in his decision not to take the throne due to his dad being killed by his half-brother who was jealous of him and ran away as he continues his days drinking and mourning to the loss of his father, "Atlantis is really like really real wow so cool" a man in a green amour was shown next as he looked to be fighting some yellow alien in space "that's so cool" removing her hands from his head "so you see Barry you meddling with time had made most of these heroes either quit or refuse to accept their destiny" she explain "so what can I do to fix it" "you can't fix this anymore as this is time line is fixed and can't be changed" "what do you mean it can't be changed" "normally we grant speedsters the ability to time travel but as of right now own powers have been restrained as to prevent speedsters from messing with time" "what how's that possible your powers are infinite as you've said so who could have such power to do so" Barry inquired shocked "even you must realize Barry that we are cosmic entities and as such we too must follow the laws of the universe as we too answer to a higher power" "higher power who could have that much power to restrain your powers" "well if you must know Barry it's the presence or as you mortals know him as God" "wait like GOD or a god" "I mean God Barry as in the God of the Christian pantheon he highest form of power within the universe, multiverse, Omni-verse and all of creation" "I see that means there's nothing I can do" he said with a look of defeat "no Barry there is nothing but I do believe that everything would turn out fine all you need to do is have hope" "I really haven't been feeling hopeful these days" "it'll be fine Barry no need to worry when the world is in danger the justice league would be called into action" she said putting her hand on his shoulder with a motherly smile "anyhow now that we've explained this situation we can go on to the next reason we brought you here" "and what's that" he questioned to train you Barry train me yes Barry the last time you were here all you gained was an increase in speed and speed force sense but we wish to further you're training to make you a better and faster speedster that's nice and all but won't that mean I have to leave here I mean I just got here no you wouldn't as we could just train here in your mindscape wait this is my mind" Barry said as he looked around his bedroom "yes Barry a person mindscape can take different forms as your mind took the form of your childhood home, alright the lets begin and ever since that day would learn the art of meditation and train this body through different martial arts such as judo krav maga taekwondo muay thai boxing and kick boxing normally learning all these wouldn't be possible but with barrys accelerated thought process he was able to understand and master them within the month. while at night he'll train with the speed force but during his meditation he had unconsciously used his powers in front of the grand mistress but she had said it was ok as she had sensed a great power flowing within Barry so from then he had begun using his powers to boost his mediation and combat training. It was during the third week of training when running at the mountain side he had found out he could go a lot faster than he originally thought as his lightning had changed colors from yellow to bluish white but he couldn't go further to the final speed level which was pure white so the speed force explained that he's simply fast enough already as he's connection to them is already very strong though a bit uncontrolled so Barry spent his time learning how to contain the lightning in his body so it would not destroy the area he's in when he runs. The speed force had also told him about the negative speed force and how it comes from negative emotion's as it is chaotic in nature but can be tamed if a person faces his darker emotion's and conquer them as the negative speed force can badly affect the speed force itself so Barry had to face his darker side and conquer it in order to fully master the speed force and so he had been using his meditative techniques to help him in his quest and that has just been what he had just done and completed as he felt his speed force energy change and become more stable and less chaotic than before at least it had all paid off and Barry felt better than he had ever been "last month had been hectic but at least everything had paid off and had gotten strong connection to the to the speed force he felt like he was one with the force" Barry snorted at the reference and with a smile as he stepped out of the bath "it seems my hairs grown a bit longer as well as my beards" he noticed as he looked at the mirror but quickly came to the decision not to shave as he looked cooler, quickly cleaning himself up he wore a black shirt with a red bomber jacket over it a blue pair of jeans and red and pair of sneakers he cleaned up the room and carried his bag and box out making his way to the grand mistress office "it seems your ready Barry she said as Barry entered her office "yes I am and thank you for all you've done for me I would have still been lost without you" "it was a privilege to teach you Barry" she said standing up as she pulled him into a hug "do take care of yourself I wouldn't want to hear on the news that something happened to my favorite scarlet speedster now would she said I'll be fine Barry assured her as he handed him a brown box opening it he had seen a blue pendant with an inscription on it that is the symbol of peace Barry as it shows that you have achieved inner peace" she explained "thank you very much master" the said "your welcome Barry and don't forget don't be a stranger here" she said "I won't" he replied leaving her office and the temple greeting the members on the way as the smiled at him, he quickly made his way to the bus stop as the bus came taking him into the city.
