Chapter 22 - Entering in the Labyrinth

*Sst* lighting up incense in front of the graves of Sia's parents Haruto stood up and sat beside Sia.

"I did it, Mom and Dad I avenged you all....I...I"

Now that I am finished with helping her, I should probably go inside the labyrinth, I cannot waste more time here, Haruto thought. "Sia chan, I have some work to do in the labyrinth so I have to part with you here, but don't worry I am going to give you a map following which you can reach the area near my master's place, there you will be able to live without any worries," Haruto said.

"Can I come with you? I would like to be of your help, I cannot return this favor to you other than serving you for life." Sia said in a small voice

Haruto grinned and thought to himself serving me for whole life...hehehehe does she mean she will do anything I ask of her? thinking about this Haruto glanced at her knockers and sniffled back the blood that was going to come out of his nose. "No! keep calm Haruto you cannot be like this, you have to get stronger, you cannot waste your time here." With much difficulty, Haruto parted his eyes from her chest and said "I know you want to help me but to be frank you are not strong enough to fight or defend yourself, so if you come with me then you will only be a burden to me. Do one thing, go to the place where I am telling you to go and if you meet Akagi sensei there then tell him that I want you to get stronger so that you can be helpful to me in the future."

With a reluctant look on her face, she nodded her head and after spending some more time with her family's grave she once again thanked Haruto and went in the jungle through the route Haruto told him to go to.

Seeing her parting back Haruto took a deep breath and said to himself "Now then, how should I proceed with the Labyrinth? Should I go in the morning? or should I go now?... Argh!!! I don't care I am going now, I have already put all of the stuff back in my ring and its better to go when no one's looking. If someone were to see him a 5 or 6-year-old looking boy going into an A++ rank dungeon then it would bring him a lot of trouble. Wearing his armor and keeping the holy white sword in his hand Haruto started running towards the entrance of the labyrinth, as he reached the entrance he saw a signboard which had a centipede drawing on it and it said "Go In If You Want To Die" Haruto was dazed for a moment but regained his senses quickly and went inside the Labyrinth. The door of the labyrinth was in arch shape and was big enough to fit 10 elephants at the same time.

{I AM GOING TO NARRATE MY NOVEL IN FIRST PERSON FROM NOW ON}

The moment I stepped inside I felt a breeze coming from within which sent chills down my spine, I started walking slowly without making any sound, I wanted to see and feel everything inside my first dungeon in the new world. There was a corridor in front of me which was dimly lit because of the light coming from the cracks and crevices on the floor and the walls, the walls had vines growing, the floor was made of an unknown material which was shiny as I was able to see the reflection of me and the ceiling on the ground. I used light magic to cast a ball of light in front and behind me so that I would be able to see better inside and also the light behind me can act as a sensor if something or someone comes behind me. There was a peculiar stench radiating inside the dungeon and it was only getting worse as I was moving forward. Walking for about 10 minutes, I was yet to find a monster so I sped up and started running, the more I moved forward the more I was able to smell the pungent smell coming from the front, but I was still not able to see the end of the path then suddenly I heard a scream which was most probably of a human coming from the front.

I removed my light spell as I again started moving ahead slowly putting my guard up. After going for another 5 minutes, I finally saw the end of the corridor. I used wind magic to sense the number of people inside and to my surprise, there were around 28-30 figures up ahead and the room ahead seemed to be a lot bigger than the corridor I was in. As I reached the end I sneakingly looked inside to see a group of adventurers numbering at around 8, fighting with 20+ monsters. "Haish..." I don't want to catch those people's attention so I should probably stay here waiting for them to go forward.

I looked up ahead at the end of the room to see a big door that had various engravings and the engravings were glowing in green and purple light. "That seems to be the boss room" I was thinking about how to go through this crowd without catching their attention, suddenly a figure appeared in front of me completely catching me off-guard, "Shit! what luck!!" I cursed, as I again looked in front of me to see the figure that was 12 feet tall with thick muscles that were covered by glistening scales and a tail swinging behind the creature which was leaking out a green mucus-like substance. Thankfully the creature was looking in front of me towards the group of adventurers and not at me otherwise while fighting the monster I would have 100% caught the attention of the adventurers but my wishful thinking came to an end as the monster let out a war-cry of come sorts catching the attention of every single hunter towards my direction.

"Is that a poison lizard? why a monster of floor 12 doing here?" someone shouted.

"Look there is also a small figure behind it...is that a human? or a monster?"

"Your mom's a monster!!" Haruto couldn't help but shout.

"EEk! Its a human he is so small and has a weird voice." A girl shouted

The monster in front of me suddenly jumped in the air. Everyone was looking in the air at the beast, then suddenly another voice rang from the top ceiling FOOLISH!!! a crack appeared on the ceiling...and a hand came out of it, the hand was bigger than an average person's whole body and it had long fingers with nails that looked sharper than anything I have ever seen. The hand opened and caught the beast that was in the air with its neck and pulled it back through the crack, as I was looking above lost in thought the cracks started closing and within 5 seconds the ceiling was back to normal again.

I was the first one to recover from shock as I saw the group in front of staring at the ceiling shivering. "I should probably move before they bring me unnecessary trouble." I thought as I used wind magic to further increase my agility and rushed inside the boss room, now let's see the boss monster of the A++ difficulty dungeon. I unsheathed my sword as I cast light and water around me to be safe from the poison and corrosion of the monster in front of me. Now that I think about it, this would be my real dungeon fight or a first fight proper fight with a monster. The more I think about it the more I feel...I feel like my throat going dry or my heart beating faster but this isn't fear that I feel, this isn't anger, this is something that I have felt second time after reincarnated, first was when I used magic, this is something that I have been longing for these years. This sensation that I am feeling is excitement, excitement about the thought of my journey henceforth.
