***Asier's Side***
"Now will you look at those numbers, I hope I haven't kept y'all waiting." He said in a calm tone like he wasn't about to fight this astronomical amount of enemies.
Even though he spoke in a normal tone, every intelligent creature in 'The In Between' could hear his voice. They didn't know why, but it gave them an indescribable chill. Like something living creatures should never be exposed to. This type of power with his voice alone. If it wasn't for their absolute trust in their Gods, they would have fled like rats long ago.
[Lord, a massive amount of energy is accumulating ahead of you. In the next three seconds it will fire.] Ava reported.
"Alright. Thanks for the heads up my loyal lady knight." Asier replied in a playful tone in his mind.
[My lord please don't tease me.] Ava said in a serious manner. Even though her blushing cheeks betrayed her.
While these two were flirting with each other. A massive red beam with the width of the sun shot out faster than light. Before it reached a hundred meters of hitting Asier. As if it hit a massive mirror, it was redirected towards the headship ahead of him. It was the shiniest one of them all, so he thought it made a prominent target. The beam easily traveled the trillions of miles in seconds. Just before the beam slams into the Soilena fleets and engulfs everything in its way. The shiny ship cast an energy barrier in centiseconds, erasing and absorbing the beam as it made contact. When the beam disappeared, none of the warships around were destroyed. Not even steam was coming off the barrier. Obviously, this shiny ship is no joke.
Asier could have sworn he heard a mob screaming through all that.
"It appears the rumors about you did have some truth to them." a distorted malevolent voice appeared, coming from all directions.
In an ancient language that was spoken before the birth of countless universes. That could only be understood by the truly powerful.
Then the entire area started to tremble, like the dawn of the apocalypse.
A massive cosmic opening appeared overhead, a few hundred miles from the shiny spaceship. And from it, gray like ash was released. As a massive translucent figure descended, carrying with it an overpowering distorted aura. It was humanoid in nature. Wearing a symbiotic grayish-black type suit that showed muscle fibers through it. Covering its entire body except for its face and hands. It had a design of four red-silver alloy w's that started from its lower abdomen to its chest. It had a silver skeletal arm at both of its legs as the hand landed on its knee, giving a look like it was grabbing at it. Its skin was a grayish-white hue. As his five fingertips gave off a flowing blood-red color. As its right hand wielded a simple long sword with a circle handguard, with a red gem at the middle. There was a circular dreamcatcher floating behind his head. He had no hair, no ears, with a gaping hole at the center of his head, with straight grooves inside.
"Well, sometimes rumors can be true. So let me guess, you must be the creator of Elishem, Iknus the so-called Cosmic God Of Ash."
"Oh, what a surprise you're able to communicate with me normally, interesting. But I expect no less from someone who can escape from a universe-sphere that I personally blocked. No wonder my creation lost so badly."
"No, I'm pretty sure it was his belief in that weapon you gave him. He might have lasted longer if he had changed his strategy."
Iknus turned silent for a moment, trying to digest what he just heard. Did this lowly human just insult him? And after another moment, it finally clicked.
Although he had no face, you could tell he was trying to suppress his wrath. How long has it been since someone dare to insult me directly to my face? Let alone by such a lowly creature like a human. It took all his restraint from attacking him on the spot.
"Well, look at you, you can actually restrain yourself. Now I'm the one surprised." He said in the same tone as when Elishem's group tried their ambush scheme. As if to congratulate a child who did his best.
Rumble
The dimensional space distorted. There were even some warships that shook. Iknus was already on the verge of completely losing control. But he barely managed to restrain himself. How can mere human words affect me so much?
"I can see why you have so many enemies now. Someone said it would be poetic justice for them to help in your downfall."
When he was done talking, multiple gates opened by the war fleets. As figures started passing through them, Asier recognizes them immediately. Some of them he never met in person, but read in the files that Ava gave him. There were gods of many pantheons, magi from magus universes, evil magic gods, aliens from different civilizations, and many other creatures. They all radiated the aura of lesser Primordials. It would appear they also received a power-up.
Surprisingly, there weren't any cultivators among them. Geez, I wonder why?
Then they all started to shout out their problems.
"You dare challenge the gods authority!! What have you done to Zeus and Hera!?"
"Athena, where is Athena?! Your damn puppets dare touch her, absolute blasphemy!!"
"Handover Hades!! Not even death can forgive your insolence!!"
"Where's Odin?"
"Goddess Hel, where is she?!"
"The Asuras were are they!?"
"Your machines raided and destroyed many clans. We want blood!"
"How dare you kidnapped our magic gods give them back!"
"Your machines have brought many civilizations to the brink of extinction! We want revenge!"
"Our Primordials, what have you done to them!?"
"There can be no mercy! You must die today!!"
And they kept whining on and on and on.
That's right, these are the fools that had some of their gods captured and turned into cubes. When Asier had the idea of creating the cubes he needed the material for it. So he sent out his machine army to go out and capture the evil counterparts of these gods. There are many universes and parallel universes. Zeus may be good in one of them, but in the other he's a complete dirtbag. The same is true for the other gods. So anybody here is not a good person.
As for the others, he needs resources for the store he was creating as a hobby. The magus universes have many good things in them, same for cultivation worlds, magic gods for magic power, and different civilizations provided the tech. In one way or the other, they all did many evils to be targeted by the machines.
So for them to come here and wanting revenge and whatnot. It's all falling on death's ears.
"Hey everyone, don't worry if you're looking for your gods, you will soon meet them real soon. As for the others, thank you for your contributions, your sacrifices will not be forgotten."
When the rabble heard him, they turned silent for a moment before yelling again, but Asier completely ignored them this time.
"Iknus, Iknus, please don't tell me this is all you have? Do you really think you, these War fleets, and that rabble. Will be enough to take me down?"
"Asier, after everything I've seen, even if I don't want to admit it. I might not be enough to defeat you. But your just a human, one of the most easiest creatures to kill. Even if you have power comparable to Cosmic beings, your two partners aren't here to help you. And even if they were, I've already prepared for everything. At this very moment, the universes under your control are under attack. How long do you believe those machines of yours will be able to defend them? You should have just died in that ambush. Now you will die a horrible death in ours."
