Kain noticed there were quite a number of people porting in from the void emblem. When he saw Sylvia walk in followed by a group of people, Kain stood up along with Marissa to greet them.
"Sister! It's so good to see you again!" shouted Tyrin as he rushed over to give her a hug.
Marissa was also happy as she returned the hug to her big brother. Though the two of them had a big age difference, Tyrin had always looked after her while she grew up. Marissa was only 5 years older than Tyrin's daughter, Sylvia.
Kain gave them some time to catch up with each other. He turned his attention to the others. Sylvia walked up to Kain and whispered into his ear,
"Did you have enough time to complete the favor I asked for?"
Kain nodded back and notified her that the container was in the fridge. Sylvia couldn't help but get excited and kissed Kain on the cheek in thanks. Kain rubbed where she kissed as he grinned.
"This is only a one-time deal. You don't know how much trouble it was trying to get one container of it. Don't lose it." whispered back Kain.
Tyrin was in a conversation with Marissa, but was paying attention to the interaction between Sylvia and Kain. He smiled in contemplation.
Sylvia didn't go to collect the container in the fridge. She would get it after the meeting was over.
Kain saw that Tessa and Aleria were smiling at him, waiting for their turn to speak with him. As Kain approached to greet them, Aleria spoke first.
"I heard many things about you before coming here. I also heard that you have overheard a conversation during a secret operation. Your capabilities are quite impressive. You also seem to have a relationship with my daughter. I would like to speak to you in private when the opportunity presents itself. Before we begin a more formal conversation with everyone, Tessa and I must thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all that you have done for the Penta faction. Though some of the girls who survived the ordeal within the War Consortium committed suicide upon rescue, the majority were given a renewed purpose to their lives after you gave them a well-deserved revenge. We hope you continue to provide guidance to them as they come under your command."
"Councilwoman Aleria, it is my pleasure to finally make your acquaintance. I had seen you earlier, but never got a chance to speak with you at length due to your status. Your daughter indeed has a special relationship with me and I hope to get to know you better." replied Kain.
"Please, just call me Aleria. It is much less formal and with your abilities you have a right to speak with anyone in all of Bastion. We will speak after the meeting. Where is my daughter, by the way?" asked Aleria.
"She is rather indisposed of at this moment. Hopefully, she would be ready to join us when the meeting is over." said Kain.
He didn't know what her reaction would be if she knew that he had pounded her daughter all night long. As they say, like mother, like daughter. Both of them seem to be conservative and Aleria would surely be shocked if she knew what kind of lewd acts he had committed with Talia.
Aleria nodded in understanding and glanced at Tessa. On cue, Tessa took the opportunity to enter the conversation.
"Kain, as the leader of the Penta faction, I must thank you for handing over Famine instead of killing him. We have discovered high value information through our interrogations with him. He was certainly the key contact person with the military. We will share the information during the meeting. As thanks, we would like to give you a gift. Let me introduce Kara and Lana, our girls with the most potential throughout all of the Penta faction. Kara has the power of darkness and Lana has the power of light. They are still trying to harness the powers of their rather rare abilities. Both of them are eager to come under you, in more ways than one. I hope that they will serve you well. Girls, come forward and introduce yourselves." said Tessa.
Kara and Lana walked up in unison next to Tessa and bowed their heads towards Kain. The two of them then introduced themselves and then gave appraising glances to Kain.
Kain couldn't help but admire their beauty. He would be lying if he said he didn't notice them among the crowd when he was duking it out with Dominius. However, his girls were already a handful to accommodate with their thirst for his seed. Thinking about Elisha's reaction when he left her out this morning, he started to get a headache thinking about adding others into the mix. How angry would his girls be if he arbitrarily added more competitors and their current shares were reduced?
Thinking about it, Kain decided to let his three girls act as gate keepers. Anyone who wished to enter the 'club' would have to gain their approval first. He would not outright reject beautiful girls, but neither would he actively pursue them. There were goals that Kain wanted to pursue and he didn't want to spread himself too thin. Now that Mexxle had informed him of a much greater stage out there, Kain wanted to focus on preparing himself. He had a taste for what it meant to be powerful when he demolished his enemies in Dominius. Letting others have the same kind of power over him was something that Kain would do his best to prevent.
Smiling at Kara and Lana, he was kind of rooting for the two of them to gain his girl's approval. Not only were they beautiful, but their powers were quite unique. Gaining copies of their powers would certainly help him to better protect his family and friends.
"It is a pleasure to meet the two of you. I have to admit that both of you are quite beautiful, but I digress from the important matters. Sylvia has started up a new faction, of which I am a member of. We are in need of talented individuals to lead others who will shortly join our ranks. My girls couldn't make it to the meeting today, but I'm sure you will get to meet them eventually. Two of my friends should also be arriving soon. Speak of the devil, there they are now. Excuse me, I must greet them. Barton, Desmond!" shouted Kain.
Kain grinned as his friends entered the dining room and walked over to clasp Kain's hands in greeting.
"Bro, who are all these people? Why are there so many hotties here? You have been holding out on me, haven't you? Either that, or you are a fucking chick magnet on a whole different level. I have been wasting my time in Taria Academy when I should have just stayed around you. Oh, I see Saya isn't around. Not that I dislike her, of course. She just scares me a bit until I get on her good side." said Barton.
"Brother, you seem much stronger than before. Did something happen recently?" asked Desmond.
Kain smiled as he really missed his two brothers. Barton seemed to make up for Desmond's reticence for speaking more than a few words. He wanted more than anything to reveal that their blood oath was completed, but it would have to wait until they were in more private settings. Tyrin was the ex-master of Gerris and there was no need to reveal information that would muddy the waters. Besides, Tyrin was the father of Sylvia, which was more than enough reason to protect his dignity in front of others.
"We will speak more later, as I have important things to discuss with the two of you." replied Kain.
Kain introduced his brothers to the other guests. Besides the ones he had already been introduced to, there were two others that were trying to get in a word with him. He knew one of them, but not the other. He spoke to the one he knew.
"Hello again, Elsa. You seem well. I don't think I have been introduced to the one next to you."
"Hello, Kain. This is Darius, leader of the Breitgaard faction. I feel like I missed the boat with you. I have become Tessa's right hand and have my hands tied with my duties. If not for that, I would join you and find my way into your bed sheets." said Elsa as she smiled seductively.
"Ever the forward individual you are, Elsa. Kain, it is a pleasure finally meeting you. This is the first time we are meeting, but I have already heard many things about you from both Saya and Sylvia. They speak the world of you and it seems that even that failed to do you justice, as their praise for you failed to completely capture your true potential." said Darius.
"It is a pleasure to meet you. I am glad to see you are freed from Dominius' imprisonment. Sylvia also mentioned you, but at the time, I was praying for you to hide somewhere because she felt like she was cheated out of her money." said Kain.
"I have known Sylvia for a long time and she has quite the unique personality. This one time she…" started Darius.
*AHEM*
Sylvia interrupted Darius before he could finish.
"Let's start the meeting since everyone has gotten to know one another. There are many things to discuss."
Everyone took their seats at the table.
Tyrin immediately got the ball rolling as he tackled the 800-pound elephant in the room.
"Kain, we want you to join our side in our fight against Lavaris and the military. We will provide you with many benefits. What do you want for your future?"
Kain smiled as he already had many things in mind. This meeting was starting out just as he wanted it to.
