"Mexxle, is this where you live? Why do I only come here when I am passed out?" asked Kain.
"This place is your psyche, or mind's eye. I primarily stay here, but I can easily leave this place as well. At the moment, you cannot come and go as you please, but that will change when your willpower increases." answered Mexxle.
Kain pretty much knew that he connects to his power through his psyche. He did it enough times to realize that. Mexxle floated over to sit on his shoulder and the two circled around the area to look at the floating figures and streams.
"Mexxle, why are there floating figures and then these streams? Why don't the streams look like the zombified humans that I absorbed them from?" queried Kain.
"Simple enough question, the squealer, jackal zombie, and tentacle zombies are floating figures because they encompass more than one power. The streams did not form figures because it is just a single power. Now, let me ask a question of my own. Can you tell me what is different about the three floating figures?" said Mexxle.
Kain observed the floating figures and immediately noticed that the tentacle zombie was much more solid than the other two figures. Did that mean he had a stronger connection with his tentacle zombie powers? I thought I had absorbed more Jackal zombies, so why are they still less solid than the tentacle zombie?
Seeing the confusion on Kain's face, Mexxle elucidated the matter, "Do you recall that you consumed the flesh of a tentacle zombie before?"
Kain blanched as he said, "No, I don't remember ever doing that. Why would I eat zombie flesh?"
"I have looked into your memories and you don't remember because your body's cells influenced you to take such action. At the time, you were battling for an extended period during your attempt to locate your friends near Naren City. That entire time, you didn't consume ration pills or any other sustenance while concurrently absorbing multiple powers. This caused your cells to seek out sustenance on its own to speed their growth." replied Mexxle.
Kain thought back to the moment he was being hunted by those three tentacle zombies. He definitely recalled absorbing and killing two of them, but he only recalled the third one as already dead and…shit…it must have been me that ate the majority of that zombie. The feeling of being sated and full also came back in a flood.
"You still lack a clear understanding on how best to utilize your absorption power. Absorbing through touch is the weakest method. True absorption is to devour everything, which includes the blood and flesh. Absorbing one or two dozen of the same creature by touch cannot even equate to fully devouring one time. If you devour one or two more tentacle zombies, the floating image may become fully solid. At that point, it will no longer appear here in your psyche, but rather in the repository of your cells. When that happens, the associated abilities will skyrocket in power as well as evolve into new methods of usage. You will no longer have to rely on a connection to call those powers at that point." said Mexxle.
Kain was slightly disgusted that he had to consume the flesh, but realized that he really needed to boost his power, especially since he lost a tier of strength after fucking Saya. If eating the flesh meant enjoying more 'battles' with Saya and the girls, he would suck it up and eat what he had to.
"Are you upset about losing a tier of strength each time you ejaculate?" asked Mexxle.
Kain couldn't help but nod.
"You really shouldn't be sad. Think of giving your seed to your girls as an investment. You see the two figures of women floating there? The one with the pearlescent light roaming around is Saya. Your seed is actually a mutualistic symbiote, which means it benefits both partners. The more you impregnate Saya with your seed, the stronger the connection between you two. Saya will get immediate benefits from taking in your seed, but your benefit won't come until Saya's figure solidifies in your psyche. This will happen after you inject enough of your seed into her. When that occurs, you will gain a copy of Saya's powers at her current level of mastery over those powers. So, her void and lightning powers will then be yours. That is when you reap your side of the benefits." said a smiling Mexxle.
Kain's eyeballs nearly popped out. Void was one of the rarest of powers and to also get it at the same level of mastery as Saya meant that he would benefit from all the years of practice that Saya had invested.
"There is more to the mutualistic symbiote as well. After being in the host body long enough, it will enter a hibernation phase in the psyche of the host. At the end of this phase, it will change and become a remnant of Will. It will gain self-consciousness and will consider the host body and its originator, in this case you, as its creators. This will be the closest you will get to having offspring, as you cannot 'impregnate' the normal way. The newly created remnant of Will shall always be loyal to its creators and will develop its own unique power." said Mexxle.
"Ok, tell me what the fuck am I? Why is my seed so different from other people?" asked a perturbed Kain.
"I will merely say this. Your ability identifies you, and all will become clear as you travel further along your path." said a wistful looking Mexxle.
Kain grumbled in annoyance at the non-answer from Mexxle.
"The other woman is Talia. If you didn't guess already, it is because you consumed her blood. If you inject your seed in her, her figure will solidify much faster than Saya's figure. Unless of course you figure out how to consume Saya's blood as well. The combination of blood and your seed will fast track the solidification within your psyche. So, do try to drink more of their blood. You will figure out a way, I'm sure." said Mexxle.
Kain thought back to the old-time legends of creatures called vampires. Surely, he was not that different from one if he went around seeking people's blood. The difference being that he would eat the flesh as well. Of course, he would never eat the flesh of his girls. Their blood on the other hand…
Kain thought back to biting Talia's nipple by accident and sucking her blood. Kain smiled as he felt bad for the nipples of his girls. It looks like they would have to endure some pain. He would make sure to heal them with his healing skill afterwards to remove any scarring.
"I have mentioned that you should focus on improving your main ability. Humanity does not know this yet, but will power has its own levels. Let's call them gradients of will. There are generally three levels to gradients of will. Reaching the different levels can have many different approaches. I have knowledge of how to reach the first gradient of will for your case, and that is to absorb 10 entities into your cell repositories. You are very close to absorbing the tentacle zombie into your cell repository, so you should focus on finding some to feed on." said Mexxle.
"What's the benefit of reaching the first gradient?" asked Kain
"After sending one entity to the repository, ejaculating will only reduce your strength by 100x instead of losing a full tier of strength. Each additional entity will reduce your loss by half, give or take. Once you reach eight entities, you will no longer lose any strength. I'm sure you will have a lot of fun with your girls then. Furthermore, when you reach gradient level 1, you will be able to absorb from a distance. At the same time, you will also be able to convert streams of different powers into copies of one of your powers. What I mean is that, you can convert your wind power into another stream of regeneration. You will lose the wind power if you do this, but it is worth it. If you collect 5 streams of the same kind, it will count as an entity and go into your repository. That power will also be at the extreme when it becomes an entity." said Mexxle.
Kain was practically salivating at the thought of gaining entities to place into his cell repositories. However, thinking that he didn't even have one entity yet, he knew he had his work cut out for him.
Kain sighed as he said, "Looks like I have to leave Bastion again to hunt for zombies and monsters."
After having a taste of Saya, Kain really didn't want to leave. Even if he couldn't ejaculate, it didn't mean he couldn't grope and do other…provocative acts. He also couldn't wait to have a taste of Talia and Elisha. He was sure that they each had their own…special flavors.
Seeing the slightly depressed Kain, Mexxle smiled and said, "You actually don't have to leave Bastion. I have sensed that there are lots of zombies and monsters within Bastion's walls. They are actually close by here, within the upper district. I can tell that they are being…experimented on. There are even some that you haven't encountered before."
Kain's eyes shined with desire as he said, "How the fuck do I get out of here? Send me out and bring me to them."
