Dakota and I spent the rest of our time at the Pizza Palace chatting about lighthearted things as we ate, not mentioning werewolves again.
"So, where's Faith been?" I asked at the risk of shooting myself in the foot.
"She's still here," he said, taking another bite of his pizza.
"How long is she planning on staying?" I took another bite of my pizza, too, enjoying the savory flavor.
He shrugged. "Probably until after Christmas. Maybe New Year's." He took a sip of his soda and swallowed. "She doesn't have any living family anymore, so she usually spends Christmas with us."
I nodded, thinking. "You know, we could spend it all together. Not just you and me with my father and Noah, but the whole pack. We could organize something in a hall and have a potluck dinner. Everyone could bring something, and we could all chip in for the meat."
