Cameron let go of Eleanor and wiped away his tears, "I'm sorry, just now you really sounded like her. That was how she called my first name (usually first name calling are for endearment). But, why did you my first name?" She covered her face and looked away, "Oh crap, he caught on." She coughed and cleared her throat, "We're pretty close, I saved you. Why can't I call your first name? Doesn't everyone else call you by your first name?" Cameron shook his head, "No, they don't. Out of respect they all call me by my last name. You're the first to call me by my first name, I was kind of surprised." She was glad he didn't notice, "Then, I'll call you CEO Li then. How about that?" He slightly smiled, "I'll allow you to call me by my first name. That way, at least I can see Melissa in you."
Cameron looked at her dress and saw her beaded dolphin, "You look really pretty in this dress. I asked Mai Ke to buy this color as a thank you gift. This is the first time I saw this dolphin." Eleanor nodded, "Same here. When I first got the dress, I was kind of surprised but it does look pretty on me." Cameron nodded as well, "Melissa used to love dolphins. She will always want me to bring her to the aquarium but I never got the chance. She died before I can even bring her there." Eleanor stayed quiet and listened attentively. Eleanor heard his true words and thought, she was sorry that she left him alone. Looking at his lonely eyes and his longing for her made her feel bad. She was Melissa yet she can't say it because it hurts.
"Eleanor, do you think Melissa will understand me?" He asked her. Eleanor smiled and nodded, "She will understand. You spoke your true feelings out." Cameron continued on, "I didn't want to believe she was dead. Everyday and night, I thought about about her and it caused me to have severe insomnia. Even now, I can't sleep without my sleeping pill. Ever since she was gone, I couldn't deal with reality. I don't even know why I'm telling you all of this. Can't believe I'm crying again." Cameron wiped away his tears. Eleanor comforted him by saying, "Sometimes it's good to spit all of them out instead of holding it in." Cameron nodded and smiled, "Thank you for listening to my messy stuff." Eleanor shook her head, "Everyone have that kind of story, it's fine. I don't mind."
Cameron looked at his watch and told Mai Ke to get the car started. He faced Eleanor and asked her that he will give her a ride back.
"Oh, that's thoughtful of you. But, I'll go back with my friends. They're all waiting for me." Eleanor said but then she received a phone call from Luna, "Sorry, Eleanor. We had to go back first. You'll have to come back alone." Eleanor was speechless and thought, speak of the devil...
Eleanor faced Cameron again while he waited for her, "My friend went back without me. Then, can I hitch a ride?" Cameron nodded, "You can hitch a ride from us any time." Eleanor followed Cameron to the front entrance and saw a white BMW, "This is your car?" She pointed out, Cameron nodded, "Please get in. We'll drive you back.
Inside the white BMW van, it was so spacious. She was quite happy that she gets to spend some time with Cameron even though she didn't tell him who she was. She will tell him when the time is right.
When they arrived at her hotel, Eleanor thanked them as she heads back. Cameron looked her, it was hard for him to stop. Mai Ke waved at Cameron, "Earth to Cameron, are you alright?" Cameron ignored Mai Ke, "I'm sorry I need to get off the car." Cameron chased Eleanor who was already in the hotel.
"Eleanor!" Cameron yelled at her and she looked back, "Cameron? Why you're here? Is something the matter?" Cameron suddenly pulled Eleanor close to him, "Forgive me. Let me just stay like this for awhile." Eleanor was shocked but she sympathized. The only thing she didn't notice that she was giving it away was how he hugged Cameron. Cameron immediately noticed how Eleanor gently touched his neck and back of his head but he didn't say anything.
After they hugged, Cameron watched as Eleanor went into the elevator and they waved as they went their way. He stood by the elevator and smiled, "Melissa, it's you. You didn't die."
