"Why do you never ask me before you do something?" Aurora got annoyed.
"Come back home with me and we will discuss this." Her mum replied.
Aurora stood up from her chair and crossed her arms while looking aggressively at her mum. She then walked out the room and headed to the car and her mum followed her.
Veronica unlocked the car and Aurora sat at the back. Her mum started the car and then drove away from the police station. Aurora was feeling betrayed, she felt as if her mum wasn't even her mum.
"Why do you want to get rid of me?" Aurora asked.
"I think you should ask that yourself." Veronica responded.
"I guess it's because I don't have money." She said sarcastically.
"I am driving, so don't make me do anything rash."
"I don't mind." Aurora whispered under her breath.
Throughout the whole car ride it was silent. Until they stopped outside their house. Aurora ran inside, she didn't want to talk to her mother anymore. Before Aurora could get to the stairs her mum said.
"You are leaving this weekend for the camp."
"Fine, at least I don't have to see you anymore!" Aurora shouted.
Aurora stormed up the stairs and sat down and opened her laptop. She took out a ladybug shaped USB and plugged it into her laptop.
After clicking a file, a bunch of photo's showed up. These pictures were the one she had taken with her dad. She scrolled though the photo's and then stopped at one of them, it was one of her dad smiling. Aurora enlarged her picture and stared at it.
"Hey dad, how is life up there? Must be better than it was here." Aurora then touched her dads face through the screen and a tear rolled down.
"Mum still hasn't changed, she's still selfish but habits are hard to change." She then started to smile, "I really miss you dad, I hope you're looking at me from above."
Aurora then heard a knock at the door, it was her mother. Veronica opened the door and saw the picture of her late husband, she got mad.
"What are you doing!" Her mother shouted, "I will not let you look at these types of things in my house!" Veronica then went up to her laptop and threw it onto the floor.
"STOP YOU CRAZY WOMEN!" Aurora shouted.
"That should teach you!"
"ALL THAT TEACHES ME IS HOW MUCH I HATE YOU."
Veronica then turned around and left her room shutting the door.
Aurora dropped to her knees, and started bawling her eyes out. "Dad I'm so sorry."
She then found the USB on the floor, and lifted it up to her heart. Aurora knew that she will never forgive her mum after this incident.
The Weekend
It was the 7th of June.
Aurora stepped outside for the first time in 4 days ever since her mum smashed her laptop.
"Finally I get to leave this hell hole." She held her USB in one hand and suit case in the other. Aurora walked away from her house with pride and confidence, she definitely won't miss this place. She walked to the train station, before she left the butler handed her a train ticket it was for 11:30am, Aurora had some time as it was only 10am. She stopped outside a café to get some breakfast and looked around the shopping district and bought two pairs of trainers, ones were grey and the other was pink. (her mother only bought her high heels). At last it was 11am and Aurora started to walk towards the train station.
She walked inside and scanned her ticket in the machine, and then she walked down the stair to the platform she was on. Aurora looked for a bench to sit on and sat down, she felt great that she didn't have to see her mother anymore.
Soon enough the train came and she boarded, and a thought came into her head, she had to now go to a military camp with very strict training but she didn't really care about this.
