Aurora kept walking straight, she passed a pond that had a small wooden bridge. She walked over it and saw a tall building standing infront of her with a sign that read 'FEMALE DORMITARY.' It had around 6 floors. Aurora walked inside and saw an old lady sitting at a desk, so she walked up to her and asked for her room key.
"Name?" The old lady asked.
"Aurora Esma."
The lady looked around her desk and then reached into her pocket and pulled out a key.
"Here you go."
"Thanks." Aurora said.
Aurora went down the only corridor and saw that there was no elevator only stairs. She was going to have one big exercise. Carefully Aurora opened the door and started climbing the stairs, it was only three flights so it wouldn't be so bad, if she didn't have to carry her luggage.
After what felt like an eternity, Aurora finally reached the third floor. She didn't know which side her room was on so she decided to go right, while walking down she saw some girls staring at her. After walking down she saw the room 305, this meant 302 was close.
There is was! Room 302, Aurora felt relived that she didn't have to walk anymore. Opening the door, a wave of dust went into her face.
"What the hell is this!" She shouted.
A couple girls then started approaching her, "That's so sad, you go left with the cursed room."
"What are you talking about?" Aurora asked them.
"You must've come to the registration pretty late, right?"
"Well I was on time." Aurora answered.
"Obviously this is military camp is famous for it's handsome sergeant many girls come here for that." One girl said.
Then the other girl started speaking, "And since they always crowd him, one tragic day around the pond a lot of girl surrounded him and one of the fell into it and drowned, she was the one who lived in this room and no one lived here after that."
"Legend has it you can still hear her drowning in this exact room." The other girl continued.
"What a stupid story." Aurora said in an annoyed tone.
"Believe it or not, but don't be scared when you hear noises at night."
"So childish." Aurora walked into the room and closed the door. "Who would believe that bull?" She said to herself.
Looking around the room Aurora saw that it indeed was very dusty and needed a lot of cleaning but this wasn't a problem. Before coming to this camp, Aurora had done a couple part time job and one was cleaning a restaurant as she didn't want to rely on her mum for money. Aurora placed her suitcase on the bed and then opened a window to air the room out. She then went back to her suitcase and took out some cleaning products.
30 minutes later.
Aurora was tried from cleaning the place, but it now looked livable. She laid down on the bed and closed her eyes, finally she could get some rest.
*RING*
An alarm had gone off. Aurora quickly sat up and shouted, "Could you shut up!"
Then someone on speakers said, "If everyone could come to the main yard, I repeat everyone come to the front yard."
'Where the heck was this front yard?' Aurora thought.
She stood up and opened her door, it seemed everyone from the building was going there so Aurora thought she would follow them. Walking outside, it seemed like there were many people in this camp, Aurora felt annoyed, she didn't want to see anyone. She just wanted to sleep.
After walking for a while they passed this old looking building and behind it was a huge field. Everyone started lining up and Aurora didn't know where to stand so she just went at the back of a random line.
There was 5 long lines of girls and 4 long lines of boys.
Aurora looked around and saw couple people walking onto a stage that was placed in the field and she saw something she didn't like. The sergeant. It looked like he was going to deliver a speech.
She was now annoyed, Aurora didn't want to hear this idiot speak so she sat down on the grass and tried falling asleep.
Couple minutes later, she heard shouting in her ears. Aurora opened her eyes and saw a man in a military uniform.
"Just 5 more minutes." She said to him.
"GET UP, NOW!" He screamed.
"There's no need to shout." Aurora was so tired from this day, that couldn't be asked to shout anymore.
"WHAT WERE YOU DOING SLEEPING IN THE OPENEING CEREMONY!?" He shouted.
"Oh sorry, it was boring." She answered.
"GO TO THE MAIN OFFICE AND WAIT FOR ME THERE!"
"Is he on his menopause?" Aurora said to herself. People around her then started to laugh.
"GO NOW!"
"Okay, Okay, I'm going." Aurora happily walked away from the ceremony and she started walking around. A thought them came into her head, she doesn't know where the main office is.
