A massive rogue stepped out from the shadows, his eyes glowing with a malevolent light. He was taller and broader than the others, his fur matted with dirt and blood. His claws were longer, and sharper, and he moved with a predator's grace, each step calculated and deadly.
This is different. He's different.
I swallowed hard, my grip tightening on the Luminara. The weight of the weapon was comforting, but I could feel the tremor in my hands. This wasn't like the others. He was stronger. Faster.
And I wasn't sure if I was ready for him.
The rogue growled a low rumble that sent shivers down my spine, and then he charged.
He moved with terrifying speed, closing the distance between us in the blink of an eye. I barely had time to react, swinging the Luminara up just in time to block his claws. The force of the impact knocked me back, my feet sliding across the dirt. I struggled to keep my balance, my muscles straining under the pressure.
