It was already nighttime when we reached the borders of Ironwatch. The tall, spiky iron walls jutted out from the barren lands, their ominous presence broken only by the flickering glow of pit fires. The flames danced along the walls, casting shadows that seemed alive, illuminating every inch of Ironwatch's formidable defenses.
Two archer towers flanked the front gates, with taller towers looming just behind them, their silhouettes like silent sentinels. In the center, a massive watcher tower stood like a watchful eye, surveying everything.
Around the gates, a group of shape-shifters patrolled—rhinos with thick hides, lumbering bears, and elephants with tusks gleaming in the firelight. Above, birds of prey circled in the night sky—hawks and eagles, their sharp eyes trained on any intruder foolish enough to challenge the airspace.
