By the time we both separated, we were breathing heavily, while Master Liu and I gazed into each other's eyes. A bridge of saliva still joining our lips. It was like seeing each other for the first time. Studying one another's faces to remember this moment in time. To never forget while apart. The humans and lycans staring on, watching us curiously. We didn't care..
He was being so understanding about my having to go to the southwest pack. He's trusting me, and I know it. I wanted to ask if he was sure he did not mind, but at the moment, the words eluded me. "I will be back as fast as I can, I swear.." I whispered fiercely. His arms that were wrapped around me made me feel safe and secure. Similar to the feeling of finally being 'home'. I wanted to stay in his arms forever, never letting go.. But.. I couldn't.
