After Jason and Blake's fight the rest of the class discussed the fight with Jason listening to the criticism. "So in a one on one fight with people that have similar quirks how does one come out the victor?" Zip asks the class.
Trinity is the first to raise her hand. "Go ahead."
"Well in this case it was luck." She states "But had one of them put in more training hours than the other or had they been on different physical fitness levels the scales could've been tipped."
"That is all correct. However if Jason had been willing to strike with his weapon he might've been able to win that bout with less difficulty. He took advantage of the fact that it was training." Zip says "The only reason he won is because of Blake's overconfidence at the end. Now! Lillian and Remy. Get into position."
"Yes sir!" Both respond.
As the pair squares off with each other Remy looks calm and collected not guarding himself at all. "BEGIN!" Zip shouts over the arena once more. And with that Remy slices blades down his arms letting the blood flow to his fingertips into ten four inch claws. At the same time Lillian begins expelling her mist.
"I wonder what she can do with that mist of hers now." George says walking up behind Jason.
"Yeah me too." Jason replies "She's been working really hard on solidifying her mist."
As Remy moves in slowly and confidently. He skirts the outside of Lillians mist. As she starts advancing Remy backs up. "You can't back up forever ya know." Lillian says.
"No but if you are planning on cornering me then you are mistaken." Remy replies and runs into the mist. As soon as he does a wall traps Remy inside the mist. As he rushes through the mist he realizes he's not actually getting closer to Lillian and looks down at a thick set of vines pulling him back. He bends down and easily cuts the vines. As he looks up he sees a dragon running towards him and dodges as it barrels past. Whirling around the dragon roars, sending Remy stumbling back, and rushes again. Once more he dodges this time however he slashed through the beasts leg. Turning to look he sees it's still running.
Up in the stands the rest of the class watches on. And as Remy turns to look at the leg he should've just cut off Lillian out of the mist club in hand and whacks him in the back of the head. As Remy crumples to the ground the mist dissipates and Lillian walks away.
"Well..." Zip coughs. "That was..... anticlimactic. Well done Lillian."
As Lillian rejoins her two best friends George calls out "That was really impressive."
Lilian blushes a little and she relies in a quite voice "Thank you."
"Alright whoever has number three and number ten get into the arena." Zip says to the class.
As Micheal and Thomas jump down into the arena. "Well this is going to be a slug-fest for sure."
Before Zip tells them to start the boys both roar and rush each other. They meet in the middle Thoth hits connecting with resounding cracks sending both stumbling away. With a roar a red energy encompasses Micheal. As Micheal throws his next punch the class sees the red energy hits Thomas first then his fist hits. As Thomas is thrown away he manages a strike to Micheal's face who now seems unfazed by the hit. As Thomas stands he spits out a glob of water that hits Micheal and slides off surrounding his feet.
Micheal runs at Thomas but the water impedes the movement for five seconds. In those five seconds Thomas dives forward and uppercuts Micheal. Spinning around Thomas bats Micheal away with his tail sending the other boy sailing. As Micheal hits the ground his red aura dissipates and he groans as he stands up and stumbles a little. Thomas rushes up and with a straight punch sends his opponent to the ground spread eagle.
"Well done Thomas. Come back up and rejoin the class." Zip says.
"Uh nead ya go ya tha nurth ath well Suh." Thomas says with his bottom jaw hanging.
