'Angel? What is he talking about?' I thought to myself while holding the revolver and looking at the man as if he is an idiot.
"Um, who's Angel?" I asked with a puzzled tone because I think some misunderstanding is happening here.
"You are holding Angel in your hands!" he replied now as if I am the idiot, which made me have a little tick mark on my forehead.
When I calmed down a little, I just threw the gun to him, because I can feel he's the type of person I'm bad with, so I just want him to leave as quickly as he came.
Despite "stealing" his weapon, I don't feel any ill will from him, so either he's a really naive guy or a very forgiving one, but I'm sure he's a very social person that is overly familiar with people he doesn't even know.
Why? Because of this situation, I'm in now.
"Despite stealing my Angel, you are actually a nice person, thanks for inviting me to dinner!" he told me while hitting my back.
I never invited him, he just sat down beside me and began eating my food without permission, and no matter how many times I explained to him that it wasn't me that stole his gun, it just goes into one ear and out of the other.
Despite trying to ignore him, it never worked because he just starts rambling non-stop, so now I'm trying to take the lead of the conversation.
"So, what's your name?" I asked him, just for the sake of asking and to control what comes out of his mouth.
"It's Valentinez Alkalinella Xifax Sicidabohertz Gumbigobilla Blue Stradivari Talentrent Pierre Andres Charton-Haymoss Ivanovicci-"
*FACEPALM*
"Do you ever shut up and are you going to tell me your real name?" I placed my hand over my face because I realized he's bullshitting.
"You are no fun~ But it's Vasshu Sutanpīdo and you?" He replied with a playful tone.
"Tatsuki Zen, so why are you here?" I asked Vasshu a new question with a genuinely curious look, though I must look bored to people that don't know me.
"That's what I want to ask you about, this is no place for a little kid to be at night!" he said and his playful personality changed to a serious one, but all it did was to make me angry being called a kid.
One of the things I hate the most since coming to this world is being called a kid, especially by this idiot! Normally I just keep my dissatisfaction with myself because I'm actually a kid, but I lost my cool here.
"Who are you calling a little kid, then what about you? This is no place for an idiot yelling at night and getting cozy with a stranger!" I said back to his statement while growling for being called a kid.
"Sorry sorry big man~," Vasshu said with a playful tone again.
'Haaah, I seriously can't take this kind of people' I thought to myself after being played by him again and again.
"I'm just traveling around spreading LOVE AND PEACE," Vasshu followed up with a weird catchphrase and showing a peace sign while grinning all the way to his ears.
"Why?" I simply asked getting a little immune to his attitude, and I can sense he's serious by his other hand holding his gun tightly.
"I simply think everybody should have the right to love and have peace, though I don't have the power to change the big picture, I can still help the people I meet on my travels," he seriously said, but with some hidden bitterness and regret?
"Now why are you here kid?" Vasshu asked while starring me in the eyes, maybe to find out if I'm lying.
"I'm looking for a Danger Beast," I simply told him not giving him all the details.
"Then let me help you! The Danger Beasts around here are nothing to scoff at, they are pretty strong." Vasshu said doubting my safety, but I don't like being looked down upon, and I really don't want him around while taming the Shadow Demon if I find it.
"SWUSH"
I simply activated my Kagune but only used one tail, not wanting to show my full strength and aimed for his throat but I stopped right before it, not piercing it.
When I looked at his hand he was already pointing his gun at me, ready to shoot at any second.
*SILENCE*
After a few minutes of silence and looking at each other, I retracted my Kagune.
"As you can see I don't need any protection!" I said shrugging and lazily dismissed his kindness.
"You are no normal boy! Although our exchange looked like a draw, you can block my bullet if I fired right? Your face showed no fear when you looked at my Angel!" Vasshu said with a serious tone, but his face looked like a grown man about to cry.
I just shrugged again to his question without agree- or disagreeing.
"Well it seems I worried for nothing," he stated while scratching the back of his head with a little forced and awkward smile.
I just nodded a little.
"Thanks for the food but I have to go back and check if another thief has stolen my other things, see ya" he stood up and turned around while waving his hand, and still implying I'm a thief.
"WAIT" I suddenly yelled stopping him in his tracks, then he turned around with a puzzled look.
"If you ever get fed up or bored with life come to the Zen clan in The Capital, just say my name at the gates," I told Vasshu after calculating and measuring his skills and personality in our exchange.
"Umm, what is your name again?" He asked while scratching the back of his head again.
*FACEPALM*
I couldn't resist facepalming again after hearing that he already forgot my name.
"Sigh, It's Tatsuki Zen!" I told him with a tired voice while waving my hand to dismiss him, not wanting to look at his stupid face anymore, though I do value him to be a good gunman that's why I invited him.
