While sneaking around the forest, trying to get out of the forest, and finally finish the trial because I have already accomplished what I wanted. I saw a few skeletons lying in fresh puddles of blood, eaten literally to the bone, but I didn't take a closer look and only inspected it from a distance, afraid it's a trap from a Danger Beast.
My idea of using the snake hide as a cloak was a great idea because I have already walked by a few plant-type Danger Beasts without discovering me, which leads me to my new discovery, that they don't have the same sense of smell like animal-type Danger Beasts have, or they would have attacked me based on just that, and not their touch and visual senses by traps.
As I was on my little safari, I heard a yell, sounding like a little girl, then I decided to take a look out of curiosity, and not to play hero or anything like it.
When I reached the area the voice came from.
"Sis there's more coming," a little girl with black hair said behind another black-haired girl while being attacked by a heard wolves.
'That's the girls I looked at before getting in the Forrest, but it seems they are in a pinch,' I thought while shifting my attention between the two girls with different intervals, without any thought of helping them.
If I helped them complete this trial, they would just die later when they are put to work by what the Empire has in store for them, but I truly don't like that little sister's attitude hiding in the back while her big sister can die any minute fighting.
Then I took a decision, while I don't have any thought of helping them fight, I will give them a few words of advice if they survive this.
---After 20 minutes of spectating---
*PLOB*
The sister that was fighting fell to the ground while being surrounded by wolf corpses, and full of wounds.
"Big sister are you okay?" Asked the little sister worriedly.
"I'm fine, we need to get out of here fast, and I will protect you, so don't be afraid," replied the big sister with vigor and unmoveable will while getting up from the ground.
"I will commend you for your spirit, but that will not work, at least not in the long run." My voice then came about and frightened them, though they did two different actions. One pointed the sword in my voice's direction, and the other hid behind the back.
"Come out" yelled the big sister with a commanding tone, and I did come out while taking off the snake hide I'm wearing, but I jumped down from the tree I was hiding in as to not get caught by a wolf.
"Who are you?" I was asked, of course by the big sister again, while the other is still hiding.
"Tatsuki Zen, and you?" I replied and asked back.
After some time of her evaluating me, she finally answered.
"Akame" but she didn't tell the name of her sister, so I just asked the girl itself hiding, while pointing at her.
"And you."
The girl just hid fully behind the back, while it was Akame that answered for the little sister.
"Kurome" Akame answered shortly again, guess I finally found a person that has worse communication skills than me.
"Ok Akame, do you seriously think you do her any good by protecting Kurome as she is a newborn child? And you Kurome how can you bear seeing your sister fighting to death without helping her out while knowing she can die any second?"
"Shut up, I will protect Kurome no matter what," Akame replied angrily because of what I said.
"Heh laughable, you should know that you can't always be by her side protecting her!" I said in a stern voice, like a parent teaching their child, but it may look weird when I'm also a child.
"No, I will always protect her!" said Akame stubbornly, while Kurome stuck her head out while thinking about my earlier words.
"Well whatever, I have said what I wanted and it's up to you if you want to listen," I said to both of them while running away without looking back. I didn't want to argue with her, and even if I did, it seems I'm just talking to a door.
---After 50 minutes---
"I'm finally out of this damn forest," I said to myself out loud, while standing on the outskirts of Gifnora Forest.
"Congratulations on completing the trial," said a soldier coming forward me congratulating me.
"Thanks, but what now?" I asked with a curious expression, on my genuine tired face.
After meeting Akame and Kurome, I ran into so many animal-type Danger Beasts, and they all could find me by smell, so every time they found me, I ran away trying to find a plant-type one so they could eat them. Some times I had to kill them with my bone spear when I couldn't find a plant-type Danger Beast, luckily they were not as strong as that snake.
"I will lead you back to the camp where you started" replied the soldier.
While following the soldier I thought about the Danger Beasts I met. The snake was a class 2, while the others that I encountered were class 3, and this got me thinking about how strong is a Special Class or even Super Class.
Sometime later we reached the camp, which was not near as cramped as before when 100 children were gathered, Akame and Kurome weren't one of them, but the glasses boy is, and a girl with orange hair plus a non-existent chest.
As I was looking around a voice interrupted me.
"Congratulations young master for finishing the trial," said Caroline, while Gozuki asked me another question.
"Are you going to stick around to the end while waiting for others to finish or are you leaving?" he asked while trying to find any emotions flaring up in me, but he got disappointed.
"No, we are leaving." I normally said with half-closed eyes, while shaking my head, then turned around and left with Caroline.
