When she woke she realized that the pain she felt wasn't like anything she had felt in the past. She felt a cool liquid on her forehead and not any gauze or bandages of sorts. 'Did he not bang my head? How am I not bleeding?' Confused and in pain, Alexis tried opening her eyes slowly and patiently. She should've cracked her head open with the force had he used.
