Chapter 7 - The Results Of True Strength

All of Japan trembled, shaking due to the unknown force. The very plates rustled and knocked about, causing landslides and dormant volcanoes to erupt. "What is this?!" People around Japan took cover, hiding themselves from the indescribable power.

No one was safe anymore, not even the citizens. This message waged war on the Westerners who invaded Japan. But furthermore, it alerted the remaining members of the Resistance.

Present within the confines of the active volcano, mount fuji, was but one man. The man was tall, 6'9 and extremely bulky. One could mistake him for a body builder if not anything else. He sat inside of the volcano, sitting on one of the heated rocks inside.

The shockwaves had awoken him from his meditation. Opening his eyes, the large man stood to his feet and shed himself of his robes. Not one drizzle of sweat was present. He was surrounded by lava and yet, he could only smirk. "Hahaha! it's time at last!" The man smiled, carrying his naked figure to the pool of lava. "Best make my way out of here." He said to himself. Soon enough, he took a diving stance before jumping into the bellowing heat of the semi-solid.

This man swam through it as if it were water, making his way to the wall of the volcano. He didn't burn, his skin kept clear and his body refused to act up to the heat. Upon reaching the wall of the volcano, he planted his arm into it and climbed up that way. This large figure was glowing. His muscles were like metal plates. They weren't burning, they just shone a bright orange glow. "Good grief! That was too cold." The man took to the top, shaking off the remnants of molten rock.

"Well! Better make my way there." He rubbed his chiseled chin, just before pulling his arm up to his bald head. It shone In the sun, glistening with every movement made. After eyeing his destination, he leaped off of the volcano, providing a grin filled with bravery.

Meanwhile...

Located within the confines of a dark, metallic cell, there was no one. This cell had no windows, nor a bed. It only had a door, one made of metallic bars closely placed together. "These tremors." The warrior mumbled from the ceiling. She stood to her feet and walked from the ceiling onto the wall, then finally the ground. Each step was light, and yet she never faltered when walking.

She had been hidden within the darkness, hiding her naked and scarred body. Her shapes and figures were masked from society, and yet one could still see the glint of her grey eyes. The woman reached for her right wrist and by squeezing, five retractable claws emerged from each finger nail. "I'll be waiting." She whispered to herself, eyeing the dark halls as she listened to the merciless whipping next door.

Inside of the demon-filled cavern, Mugen stopped his training and lowered his bow. He looked off to the old man. "So it truly is time. Why, I never thought the day would come." He questioned, rubbing the oh-so long beard of his. "Hey uhh, what's that?" Mugen asked, taking his attention to the rumbling. He had many scars on his body. His forehead carried a terrible mark. The mark of when his head made contact with the ceiling. "Just get back to work. Times are changing kiddo. You'll have to try harder if you wish to keep with the game." He smacked the boy on the back, causing excruciating pain to temple throughout his body. "Aaaugh!" Mugen howled out, hopping to the side. "Hahaha!!! Look at you! Full of energy!"

Finally...

"Hehe... That is quite some power." General Todd Blackwood. A western leader, held up in a fortress built just a year ago. Quite the new face indeed, baring the love of war and the wish to conquer more land. "I can't wait. This country has been in too long a slumber." His men grabbed their firearms, making all of themselves armed on his command. "Spread the word. Increase security on all levels. Find what caused the disturbance and destroy it." He smirked, "Yessir!" His loyal men barked!
