Throughout history, fire has been seen as many things.
Fire is warmth.
Fire is power.
Fire is passion.
But, there is another side to fire. Though fire can create warmth when small, but if left unchecked, fire can become a force of destruction that is nearly unmatched in strength and ferocity.

Deep within the forests of Vale, a teenage boy, no more than sixteen years old, with raven black hair and eyes as red as rubies, can be seen walking into a large clearing.
This boy is not dressed like one would expect from a boy of his age. In place of the jeans, boots, and T-shirt a normal sixteen year old would wear, this young man is dressed like some type of firefighter. He is dressed in a black shirt over which he wears a grey and black firefighter's jacket with the collar turned up. The jacket also has some detailing. On the left shoulder, the number 8, painted in gold, can be seen. There are also multiple vibrant blue stripes on the jacket which stick out against the primarily black and grey jacket. There are two stripes on each arm, one around the torso, and one along the tail of the jacket. The boy also has specialized gloves on each hand. He also has on a pair of firefighter's pants in the same design as his jacket. Strangely enough, the only article of clothing that the young man is not wearing is a pair of shoes.
At his sides, the young man had two weapons holstered. These weapons were a set of twin combat axes.
Suddenly, a horde of Beowolves emerge from the tree-line. As the first wave slowly creeps towards the boy, two more waves of Beowolves make their appearance as well.
In spite of large sea of Beowolves before him, the young man shows no signs of fear. In fact, he grows a cheeky grin across his face upon seeing the horde thirty Beowolves standing before him.
Boy: You ugly flea bags wanna fight, huh? Well I'll be more than happy to take every last one of you bastards on! Now...who's first?
Quickly, the boy drew his weapons, a wide smirk evident on his face.
As if on cue, the horde of Beowolves begins to charge the red-eyed boy with remarkable speed and an intent to kill.
Matching the speed of his attackers, the is able to swiftly weave in-and-out from between the attacking Beowolves. He sliced each-and-every one of the attacking Beowolves with his twin axes.
Of the five Beowolves that initially attacked him, none remained. All five had been reduced to sliced up Beowolf remains that were just beginning to disintegrate.
With sight of their fallen brethren, the remaining Beowolves became even more enraged than they were initially. Before they could even move however, the red-eyed boy was already beginning his assault.
"Now its my turn to make the first move!" he eagerly yelled. The boy's tone conveyed his cockiness, and his eyes were ablaze with excitement.
With the press of a button, the boy had changed his axes into twin shotgun—each having axe blades attached underneath the gun barrels.
What followed next was nothing short of a massacre. No other words could describe the scene.
The boy charged straight into what remained of the Beowolf horde with the ferocity of a raging wildfire. With every spin, he would fire shotgun rounds into the surrounding Beowolves from point-blank range. Then he would change his weapons once more into the axe forms and slice an attacking Beowolf as he would either flip over it, or slide underneath it. It was like an elegant dance of death between man and monster. Using this method, he systematically whittled down the horde of Beowolves .
When he first began his assault, there were twenty-five remaining Grimm.
A few moments later, only twenty of the beasts remained...
Then seventeen...
Then fourteen...
By the end, there were ten left.
The boy continued his vicious assault until all that remained of the Beowolf horde was disintegrating Grimm remains. Once finished, he took a moment to admire his handy work.
"Well... that was easier than I thought it would be." he stated with boredom.
Just then, the young man heard a terrifying roar come from deep within the forest. It was the type of roar that made grown men freeze on the spot.
Turning around slowly, the boy caught a glimpse of a large shadow in the distance. The shadow was coming directly at him with incredible speed. Straining his eyes for a moment, the boy was able to more clearly see what was charging him. It was an Alpha Beowolf, and it did NOT look happy.
Once again arming himself, the red-eyed teen readied himself for a fight against a far deadlier opponent.
"An Alpha, huh? Lets see what kinda fight you can put up!" he said, thrilled by the idea of a challenge. The young lad took off running on a collision course with the Alpha. This turned out quite a bit differently than he expected.
He had underestimated the strength which this particular Alph possessed, and he paid the price for it. The Alpha Beowolf, using as much force as possible, back-handed the boy. The blow sent the teen flying into a tree, fifteen yards away.
Upon getting himself out of the tree, the raven-haired teen did something completely unexpected. He switched his shotguns back into their axe forms, then he used his semblance to coat his axes in radiant flames.
At this time, it became apparent why the young man didn't wear any shoes. Without warning, a torrent of flames shot forth from his feet, propelling him towards the Alpha at inhuman speeds. In one swift motion, he decapitated the Alpha Beowolf with his twin flaming axes.
Two figures walked out from the tree-line as the remains of the Alpha began to disintegrate. Once illuminated by the fractured moon, the figures were clearly visible.
Both figures were teenage boys, though slightly older than the red-eyed boy. The first was a bit taller. He had dirty-blonde hair and jade-green eyes. The second boy was an average height, roughly and inch shorter than first. He had a head of black hair and brown eyes that hid vast intellect.
The blonde mused as he walked, "I must say, Heath, that was quite the show you just put on." His voice was somewhat deep—a stark contrast to his appearance.
The other boy also complimented the young lad, "Indeed it was. There's no doubt in my mind that you will pass the entrance exams at Beacon."
The younger boy, Heath, had a wide smile upon receiving such praise.
