Rishi hid behind a furnace as he could hear the Swordmaster clanging his hammer, presumably making parts for a new weapon that The Order requested. He held the gun tightly in his hand, still unsure whether to commit this crime. He didn't want to help humanity in this way but did he really have a choice? The Swordmaster did contribute for the destruction on humanity by helping The Order making weapons that would kill millions of people. Rishi picked up a walky-talky from his belt,
"Are you sure we should do this? If we get caught, we would get hunted down and killed by The Order."
"Then don't get caught", the mysterious woman answered helpfully. Rishi didn't even know her name, nor does he ever want to know. His forehead was sweating as there was no turning back for what he was about to do. He then saw his chance and got up aiming the gun at the Swordmaster.
"Freeze!", he shouted, as he looked around the room for anybody. Suddenly, a Guardsman appeared from the end of the smelting room and aimed his gun at Rishi. Telling from the Guardsman's weapon compared to Rishi's little handgun, it was most likely that if Rishi shot first, his bullet would bounce off whereas the Guardsman's weapon looks as if it would tear Rishi into bloody pieces.
But a moment later, the Guardsman suddenly shut down as it fell down like a rag doll.
"What was that about?" asked Rishi, relieved he didn't get shot.
"Don't worry, we got a little friend who works at The Order." replied the dodgy dealer. "He would only help if you need it."
"Who is it?"
"That, I can't tell you." And afterwards, she cut off from the line. The Swordman was just staring, not knowing what just happened and looked at the "dead" Guardsman.
"I demand you make me the finest weapon you can forge!" Rishi exclaimed as he cocked the gun. The Swordsmaster immediately got to work as he rushed to make Rishi's desired weapon. Rishi could only hope that none of The Order would come here and spot him. After a few hours of clangings and hits, it was finally ready. The Swordsmaster held the weapon out to Rishi.
It was beautifully forged as there were a series of patterns on the blade. The hilt was blood red and a series of glowing red symbols were written on the blade of the sword, but he couldn't read it. Just as he was about to reach for it, The Swordsmaster attempted to plunge it into his chest. The two were now struggling on the floor and the old frail forger was on top of Rishi, ready to stab the final blow. That was until a ginormous blue blast had hit the old man, and his limbs were sprawling threw the air, blood raining down.
Rishi then looked to his left and saw a dark figure. As he came out the shadows, Rishi could see his saviour. A fair blonde man who had a slight bulk build. Rishi could also see the weapon the man killed The Swordsmaster with, as it was smoking blue and physically attached to his hand, a wire connecting from it to his forehead. He held out his hand to Rishi.
"Hi", he simply greeted himself. "I'm David."
Was this "David" the friend the weird woman described? He clearly had The Order badge on his arm as he held out his hand. Rishi accepted his hand and got up.
"Are you really going against The Order?" ,Rishi asked curiously.
"Yes, but don't blow my cover.", he replied as he was picking up the brand-new sword from the arm that was separated from The Swordsman's body. "I believe this was yours", he said smugly as he handed Rishi the weapon, "I need to go now, but I will help you when possible". Then used his weapon again to blast a huge hole (about 5m in diameter) in the wall and walked out from there. Rishi was left standing there as he looked at the the gruesome, stenching hill of the Swordsmaster's bodyparts.
Rishi returned to the dank apartment, where the walls were covered in moisture and mould. The mysterious person was still injecting herself with her "dodgy substance".
"Have you got the weapon yet?", she asked, looking very high and her eyes rolling upwards as if she was about to faint.
"Yes it's here", Rishi showed her as the blade was reflecting light.
"Good! Your next mission is to kill Travis", she said simply. How was Rishi supposed to kill Travis?
"No way! It's way to soon and I'm pretty sure that Travis could easily kill me. How about another task?"
"No, you must kill Travis now if you want to make a change", she simply replied as she injected herself with four more doses. "Don't worry, I got a plan for it. I will make sure that our helper-"
"David", added in Rishi.
"Ah so you've met him." she said, impressed. "Our hopes lie on him so don't blow his cover otherwise that would be the end of us. Anyways, "David" would shut down all the Guardsman temporarily and then you can take the scientists hostage. I ensure you that Travis and the rest of his colleagues would die and we can all get out happy ending! Now shut up and let me get back to my drugs with CWARWA !" she exclaimed in an agressive tone and soon after passed out. Rishi was unsure if she passed out or died, but either way he wasn't waiting to find out. He was going to kill Travis and save the world from any more pain.
