The next morning, elder Shen came with different types of porridge. He was scared that Francesca wouldn't like the chicken porridge so he made chef John make different porridge, and that almost made chef John cry from stress.
"Little flower eat a bit more!" He said while placing a phew side dishes in front of her looking worried at her. "Pa, I really don't wanna eat anymore," she said pushing the porridge lightly to the side.
"Why? Does the porridge not taste good? Do you wanna eat something else?." elder Shen was looking at all the delicious dishes he made chef John make.
"No, it tastes good but I just don't really have any appetites right now." Francesca was feeling a bit guilty that she didn't finish half of her porridge.
"Ah It's okay little flower, pa will just let some other people eat it," he said while smiling at his assistant and bodyguards.
Assistant Yu and the bodyguards: "..."
Pa, when will I be discharged? I'm sick of lying her doing nothing," she said looking at elder Shen.
"But, little flower it's only been two days since you were admitted," he said frowning.
She knew that elder Shen wouldn't let her discharges, and was prepared for it. So she immediately showed him his ultimate weakness, the puppy eyes, and it worked better with her wearing a hospital gown and lying on the hospital bed. Elder Shen felt defeated and couldn't do anything about it, so he asked the doctor to take a full body check on Francesca. After getting permission from the doctors, they left the hospital.

"Pa do we need that many bodyguards?" she asked looking very uncomfortable at their bodyguards.
"Yes little flower, it's for our safety," he said while signaling assistant Yu that they were ready to go.
After a 45 minutes car ride the car stopped in front of the Shen mansion. It was extremely quiet. Butler Gu, aunt Diana, and the other servants were waiting for Francesca and elder Shen to arrive. No one dared to mention anything related to the accident and was only waiting for elder Shen to order them.
Elder Shen was looking at butler Gu and aunt Diana when he turned around to Francesca "Little flower you should go up to your room and rest, I will let one of the servants call you when dinner is ready." She nodded and went up to her room.
"Assistant Yu follow me to the study," elder Shen walked to his son's (Nathan's) study room.
Elder Shen sat down on the couch and the same did assistant Yu, they suddenly heard a knock on the door and butler Gu came in with green tea and poured elegantly too them and stood aside.
Elder Shen took a phew sip before he looked at assistant Yu " we are moving back here permanently, find someone suitable to take over the work that I left overseas, and chancel the big project for now until I say so."
"Right away chairman Shen," said assistant Yu and pulled out his tablet.
After a while dinner was almost ready, so the servant name Anna went upstairs to call Francesca to eat. She knocked two times but didn't hear any answer so she knocked again and became worried when Francesca didn't answer. She decided to open the door and saw Francesca sleeping peacefully on her bed, and was about to go out when Francesca unexpectedly started to scream and cold sweat. Francesca was screaming and calling her parents, Anna became scared and ran downstairs to find elder Shen. She ran to the study not caring that she rudely interrupted elder Shen and assistant Yu's conversation.
"My apologies for interrupting you master but the young miss are not doing well…"
She didn't get to finish her words when elder Shen and assistant Yu stormed out and ran upstairs as fast as they could. Anna had left the bedroom door to Francesca's room wild open when she ran downstairs and when elder Shen and assistant Yu came they saw Francesca on her bed curled up like a ball, Elder Shen felt his heart aching seeing his precious granddaughter in that state. He walked over to her and gave her a hug to let her know that she wasn't alone. Assistant Yu saw that and quietly walked away together with Anna.
"Little flower are you okay? asked elder Shen stroking her hair to the side.
"Pa I remember the plate number," she said trembling while looking at him.
"Little flower what do you mean by that?" asked elder Shen looking confusingly at her.
"A black car was chasing us and that's why my father started to speed up," she said with an angry tone.
He was looking at her in shock and couldn't believe what she was saying "So you are saying that someone plotted to kill your parents?"
"yes, I remember that someone was tailing us and that the bastard that drove the white truck escaped, you must believe me pa! I saw it with my own eyes" she said with tears falling.
"Alright, pa believes you. Little flower you said that you remember the plate number, could you write it on your phone and send it over to me?" he asked with a serious tone.
Francesca nodded and took her phone from the nightstand and texted the plate number. Because of the accident, she had not been on her phone and saw a lot of notification on her Instagram. When she first opened her Instagram, she saw a lot of news on her feed that was mostly about the accident that happened to her and her parents and she also received some messages from people she no longer had contact with. She was annoyed that people only contacted when they felt like it, so instead of responding to the messages, she chose to delete all and also deleted everything with social media on her phone before she tossed her phone to the side.
"Little flower do you wanna eat right now?" asked elder Shen looking at bit worry knowing that she didn't eat that much early this morning.
"Pa I just wanna rest right now," she said lying down on her big queen size bed.
Elder Shen could only nod and left when she finally closed her eyes. He walked out of her room and found himself waking to his son and daughter-in-law's room which was a phew doors away from Francesca's room. He slowly opened the door and saw a white modern bedroom with a big king size bed and a big picture of his son and his wife when they got married. Suddenly, tears were falling down and elder Shen felt heartbroken and lost once again. He didn't dare to cry in front of Francesca because she needed him the most, to get through this. After a few minutes his phone started to ring from his pocket.
Elder Shen: [Hello?]
Elder Lee: [Michael are you crying?]
Elder Shen: [...no]
Elder Lee:[You don't need to lie to me old man]
Elder Shen: [Shut up! Did you call me just to bully me?]
Elder Lee: [Not really. I heard about what happened to your son and daughter-in-law from my stupid grandson. My condolences.]
Elder Shen:[I don't know what to do with my granddaughter Alexander. I feel hopeless]
Elder Lee:[I know this is hard for you both Michael, but the only way to help her is to let her know that she is not alone. I called you because I was worried about you guys. If you wanna talk I'm always here for you.]
Elder Shen: [I appreciate it old man.]

Elder Shen ended the call and felt a bit better talking to elder Lee. He looked up at the big picture of his son and his wife once again before he left the bedroom. Assistant Yu was standing outside waiting patiently at elder Shen to come out to discuss further on the company business overseas. When elder Shen stepped out and gave the look follow-me, they went back to the study room shortly.
"Check this plate number for me and investigate the accident for me." said elder Shen looking seriously at assistant Yu.
"Yes, I will. Is it anything else you want me to investigate?" said assistant Yu.
"No, but did you contact the Nirvana funeral parlor?" asked elder Shen while picking up a family picture on the desk.
"Yes chairman Shen, the funeral will be held at the Nirvana funeral parlor." said assistant Yu.
"Good you can leave now," said elder Shen not looking away from the family picture.
