Chapter 6 - A prank?

At Kevin's Office.

Chauffeur Vo stopped on Kevin's private parking lot and saw Kevin getting out of the car. He walked over to his private elevator and pressed the 50th floor which lifted him directly to his office. Kevin opened his office door and saw Pako sitting on the couch waiting for him.

"What did you find out about the accident?" asked Kevin sitting on the couch in front of Pako.

"Someone had hacked on the security camera where the accident happened, But I was able to hack the system and found those clips that capture the accident," said Pako while handing over his MacBook to Kevin.

Kevin was looking at the three clips that showed everything that happened on the day of the accident. He clenched his fist while looking closely at the clips. Pako studied the way Kevin reacted and could tell that people who were in the accident must be someone important to him.

"Did you check the plate number?" asked Kevin still looking at those clips replying.

"Yes, they used a fake plate number, so I followed them around and found their hideout and hacked on their security cameras first before I hacked further on to their system which also leads me to find an interesting conversation that you will like to hear," said Pako taking back his MacBook to find the conversation.

Pako was about to play the conversation when suddenly the door to Kevin's office was burst open. Haylin was the first one to come in looking angrily at Kevin following behind her was Andrew, Noah, and Mark.

"Stupid big brother! You could tell us that you left so we could also leave that boring gala," said Haylin walking over to the couch and sat right beside Kevin.

Kevin didn't have any time to argue with his little sister and leaned comfortably at the couch. "Ah, I forgot."

Andrew, Noah, and Mark saw how angry Haylin was and felt the temperature in the room was getting hot. Mark and Noah were looking at each other before they gave the look 'do-something-it's-your-wife to Andrew.

Andrew hesitated at first and gulped in fear before he walked over to Haylin and Kevin. "Honey, why don't we go and eat something?"

"Yeah right I'm so hungry that I could eat a whole elephant," said Mark playing along.

Haylin was looking at Andrew, then at Kevin. Her evil smile crept up as she made a suggestion. "Drive me to my favorite Vietnamese restaurant and let big brother pay for everything hubby,"

"You guys can go first I will be right behind you guys after listing to a conversation," said Kevin looking at the guys.

"Nup, we are not going if you are not going with us, you said it last time and never came," said Haylin while leaning comfortably like her big brother while crossing her arms.

Everyone knew how Haylin's temper is and couldn't do anything about it than to listen to her. Kevin felt a headache coming and could only listen to his little sister. "Pako please send the conversation over to my email and I will listen to it later, Good job! By the way, I will triple your monthly salary," said Kevin.

"Yes, and thank you brother," said Pako.

On their way back to the Shen mansion

Elder Shen tried to hold a conversation with Francesca on the way home but was only getting a short replay from her. He didn't know what to do and asked the chauffeur to play some calm music when he ran out of words to say. They arrived safely back to the mansion. Francesca felt so disgusted after that mysterious guy sniffed on her and told her grandfather that she wanted to take a shower. She went upstairs straight to her bathroom to take a shower and scrubbed hard on her skin were that guy sniffed.

She felt much better after showering and wore a cute set of matching pajamas, and dried her hair. She was about to lay down on her big queen size bed until she remembers that letter she got from that mysterious guy. Francesca looked up and saw the letter lying beside her phone on the dressing table, she walked over and opened. She was looking at the letter weirdly, the whole letter was based on numbers and two letters. "46 259297 92824464 968 -AW" She turned the letter around but didn't find any clues, thinking that it was some sort of a prank she tossed it back to the dressing table walking back to her bed and lied down.
