Chapter 6 - Medea, the Cursed Witch (5)

Castor merely raised a brow at Medea's outburst. He guessed her reason for that and spoke up.

"You heard that correctly, honey. Archer is Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes. Lancer is Diarmuid of the Love Spot. Berserker is Lancelot Du Lac. Iskandar the King of Conqueror is Rider. For Assassin, they are Hassan of the Hundred Faces."

Medea frowned. She had expected it, but the confirmation just showed how dangerous this war is. Both Gilgamesh and Iskandar are powerful figures in the legend. If she was summoned normally to fight in this war, she couldn't see her chance to win this. Even her scheme was proven meaningless in the face of absolute power.

And speaking of absolute power, Medea looked at her 'husband' contemplatively.

"What?" Castor asked shortly, wondering why this pretty little thing gave him that look.

"Could you win if you fight those Servants?" Medea inquired carefully.

"Hmph! Who did you think I am? It's easy," Castor scoffed to the side and formed a haughty expression.

"Oh? Then, tell me how are you going to deal with those powerful heroes?" Medea purred seductively and traced a circle on his chest with her finger.

"Heh, that's a good one, woman. I know you're trying to use me against those Servants," Castor spoke up bluntly, and Medea tensed when she heard that, afraid of retaliation.

Castor shifted his body until he straddled the Witch of Betrayal and drew his face close to her. He cupped her chin with one hand while his other hand was squeezing her breast.

"I'm going to punish you later for your insolence. Oh, prepare yourself, honey~ you will accompany me until I am satisfied with your body~"

Medea averted her eyes from meeting Castor's wild gaze.

Then, Castor slipped his hand under her body and pulled her up. He supported her back with his arm, his hand slipping under her armpit, squeezing her breast, and pinching her nipple.

"Mmmh~" Medea tried to stifle her moan, but it still leaked out.

Castor grinned smugly when he got a reaction that he desired from the scheming little minx of his first woman. He then pointed his other hand at the projection dramatically. Medea followed his hand, looking at the projection.

Castor spoke up: "Still, you will see the power and brilliance of your man who will deal with the most dangerous threats in this little farce~"

Castor shifted the target of his Scrying Magic to Iskandar first. When Iskandar and his Master, Waver Velvet, were displayed in the projection, Medea had a befuddled look as those two were apparently bickering with each other. Moreover, Iskandar was wearing a tight shirt and shorts.

"What in the world…" Medea mumbled, unable to believe what she saw.

Castor shared her sentiment. Although he'd seen this scene as 2D production before, watching the real version was ridiculous instead of hilarious. He felt like he did the world a favor with his plan.

Castor killed both Waver and Iskandar with a combination of a few magicks in his disposal. They watched Waver suddenly slumping forward, collapsing on the floor. Dead.

Meanwhile, Iskandar had bug-eyed expression and opened his mouth wide as if he was about to roar to defy his unjust death. Yet, no sound could be heard since it was only a visual projection.

Soon, Iskandar's form released motes of light and grew transparent. He died standing. Several seconds later, Servant Rider and his Master were eliminated from the Holy Grail War without knowing how they died and who killed them…

Silence enveloped the room for several seconds until it was broken by Medea's curious voice.

"What kind of magic was that?"

"Just Instant Death Magic sent there using Transference Magic. I pinpointed their location using Scrying Magic that also gave me that visual," Castor answered disinterestedly, trying to look cool. He also stole Waver's Command Seals, making his six.

"Oh, may, that's something…" said Medea, deeply impressed and terribly shocked. She then took a deep breath to calm herself.

Inwardly, Medea was glad that she had honored her bet with her 'husband'. She knew that his magicks didn't follow the rules of Taumathurgy and other magic schools that she learned. It was likely a power from "Outside" and was something that was different from the common "mystery" of this universe. She realized that she couldn't escape his wrath even if she ran away to the other side of the world with his ridiculous magicks.

Medea wondered which is worse: being cursed by Aphrodite to be Jason's plaything or being chained to such a ridiculous existence like Castor. She decided to stop thinking about it deeply and went with the flow. This wasn't her first rodeo being a woman for such a despicable man.

"Next target is Gilgamesh…"

Medea shifted her attention to the projection when she heard Castor's exclamation. She saw the screen changed into a dimly lit room where a man with golden hair and red eyes was reclining on a sofa with a glass of wine in one hand. His other hand was resting behind his head. He wore a casual white shirt, pencil slacks, and a golden teeth necklace.

Suddenly, Gilgamesh scowled and shifted his eyes to them. Despite he was in a different place, it seemed like he knew about them and was looking at them in disdain.

Medea felt dread when she was being pinned by Gilgamesh's disdainful gaze on the screen. Castor had it worse because he was the one who was actually being glared by Gilgamesh. The projection was what he was seeing, after all.

Castor used his magic in a hurry. He didn't immediately kill Gilgamesh like what he did with Iskandar. Whatever Castor did, it made the King of Heroes snarl and contort his face in rage and hatred. Then, Castor finally killed Gilgamesh with the same method that he used to kill Iskandar.

As Gilgamesh's corpse, whose face stuck in a snarling and hate-filled expression, became transparent, Medea looked at Castor's expression and saw how tense he was.

"Um, dear. What did you do to anger the King of Heroes so much?"

Castor was silent for a short while and then replied: "I stole his Bab-Ilu. I'm now the possessor of the Vault in which all treasures are stored."

Medea was speechless. She added "the ability to steal power and even concept tied to someone else" in the list of Castor power.

Castor tested the Gate of Babylon and opened a golden portal in front of Medea, who was snapped out of her thoughts. She immediately caught an extravagant jug and a luxurious goblet, both of which made of gold, from the portal.

"Try it. It's one of the best wines in Gilgamesh's Treasury."

Medea silently followed Castor's instruction and poured the blood-red wine into the goblet. She tasted it and felt surprised by the rich and wonderful taste.

"This is an extremely good wine fit to stay in the Treasury of the King of Heroes."

"Right?" Castor remarked shortly and summoned his own goblet.

Medea poured the wine for him, and they enjoyed one of the best wines in the world together. At the same time, Castor changed the content displayed on the screen. There displayed an Orient man with a sophisticated appearance, aqua-colored eyes, and black hair. He had a trimmed goatee that gave him a dandy impression.

The man on the screen seemed distressed. He was going somewhere in a hurry, and soon he arrived in the room in which Gilgamesh was murdered from afar.

"Gilgamesh's Master, I presume…" Medea commented confidently after sipping her wine.

"Tokiomi Tousaka, the present head of Tousaka family," Castor confirmed casually.

"Tousaka family? As in one of the three founders of this Holy Grail War?"

"Yes. The very same one."

After he responded to Medea's questions, Castor killed Tokiomi and stole his Command Seals, increasing his own to nine. He then moved to the next target…
