He just longed for a normal life. He wanted to make friends, get drunk, fall in love. But none of this would ever be possible with the everlasting wanted symbol above his head.
"Dad come on, please...just this once can you let me be like every other 19 years old and go to a party!" Jaxon usually gave this response to his father's snide comments, so much so that the effect of it had long worn off.
"No Jaxon. You can't. You aren't a normal teenager. YOU'RE THE SON OF A DRUG LORD FOR FUCK SAKES"
"...Now I see why mom left. I hate you!" He slammed the door so hard it made the house shake. This was just another one of their daily arguments. It was always over something as simple as going out, trying to meet up with someone etc. Now Jaxon usually just left the argument at that. Done and dusted...but tonight he felt rebellious...he wanted to teach his father a lesson.
~3 hours later~
The music blared so loud the floor vibrated. This definitely was the right place. Jaxon decided to hide away in a corner. After all, he was one of the most wanted people out there...and it was his first party. If there was one thing he'd learnt from his father it was to always observe a new scene before taking action. So that's exactly what he did. That is until he was disturbed.
"Hey, are you new here? I've never seen your face before"
He turned around to see what looked like a model out of the lasted Vogue magazine. She looked to be about 5"8 and had long brown hair that had a slight wave to it like the sea on a Sunday morning. Her eyes were the most beautiful sapphire blue. She wore what seemed to be a short, silver, figure-hugging dress.
"I..I'm Jaxon," he held his hand out to her "and you are?"
"Primrose Sky, but you can call me Prim" she took his hand and smiled. "So are you new here or what?"
"Oh sorry no I'm not. I've lived here my whole life...my parents just never let me out of the house."
"Well then Jaxon, we better make up for lost time then shouldn't we?" she smiled as she led him to the dance floor
"I don't dance." he remarked hoping he wouldn't have to humiliate himself tonight.
"Well then it's a good thing I do isn't it." she replied as she gently moved his hands down to her waist as she placed her arms on his shoulders.
And that was how they stayed as they danced the night away.
It was around 1 am when they eventually parted ways, of course after the exchange of numbers and the promise to meet again soon. Upon arriving home Jaxon was greeted by the red face of his father,
"We need to talk...now!" was the only thing that needed to be uttered out of Freddy's mouth for Jaxon to know that he was in deep shit...
