"OK! OK! THINK!" Thought MrDevus, "How do I get out of this cell." The walls were blank and clear of any vents and screws. The window had a noticeable thickness around the edges. Bulletproof glass. The laser grid holding him seemed to have a big enough gap for an arm to fit through. MrDevus peered into the hallway. It was lined with more cells. Most of them off. "Limited source of power i'm guessing. I'll keep that in mind." He also noticed there was an armed guard. He wasn't facing the cell. He also was armed with an assault rifle and a small laser pistol in a holster on his hip. It was within reach. A plan came together in MrDevus's head. He slowly and cautiously reached for the pistol. "Almost....GOT IT!" He thought. He brought it back into the cell but instead of firing it, he took it apart and shoved its internal components into his pocket. Then he reassembled the shell and placed it back into the guard's holster. "This'll be enough. Now I need to cause an effective distraction." He thought. *Clang* the sound of metal doors opening the echoes throughout the hallway. Two masked men drag a short female body with her head covered by a sack. They stopped in front of MrDevus's cell. "Got a new prisoner, she is from the last attack over in the Nux-Technocracy." The guard then asked skeptically, "Is it a good Idea to put her in this cell?" One of the men responds, "We don't have the manpower to watch the prisoners separately. Besides there's no way for them to get out. Now open the door." The Guard steps aside and turns off the laser grid. The two men toss the body into the cell and leave. Curious, MrDevus removes the sack to see who it was. It was Iron Mouse. She was a little roughed up but it wasn't anything serious. "Now I have to make a plan for both of us." thought MrDevus.
About an hour later Iron Mouse started to gain consciousness. "Ugh...where...am I?" She asked. "Not home, that's for sure." Said MrDevus. Startled, she jumped up and backed into the wall. "What the hell?" MrDevus pointed to the laser grid, "I'm a prisoner here just like you. I doubt we'll be getting out soon." "W-Where, are we?" she asked. "I don't know but you can look out the window and guess for yourself." She then peered out the window. "I don't Know this place". "Bummer, so what's the last thing you remember?" asked MrDevus. "I remember...that we were in the middle of an attack, they broke into the capitol building and were after Nux, Melody tried to fight back, they were about to kill her for getting in the way, but Nux jumped in front of her and...I don-...I don't think he made it. After that, they detonated some explosives and took me instead. And then I woke up here. That's about it." "I can understand most of that, but why would they take you?" asked MrDevus. "I don't know. Maybe it was a no witnesses kinda thing." said Iron Mouse. "Well, whatever the reason," responded MrDevus, "We're going to be stuck here for a while."

"I want every ship in our Space searched top to bottom! Leave no air vent or crate un-turned! This is a national crisis! Faction affiliation is of no concern! Any less and I'll court martial your ass for insubordination and treason! DO YOU UNDERSTAND, SOLDIER!?!" Astronomus shouted at the Deck Commander hiding behind a clipboard. "Y-Yes sir." he responded and then hurried off to spread the word. "Jesus!" said Zentreya, "Could you be a little less intense? You're scaring them." Astronomus turned around, "MrDevus, one of the 3 leaders of an entire Galactic Civilization, is missing, no, kidnapped! I believe that this was an appropriate attitude given the situation Considering THE ENTIRE EMPIRE WILL COLLAPSE IF HE'S DEAD!" Yelled out Astronomus "Calm the fuck down, I'm just worried that with that attitude you might do something you'll regret." she said. Astronomus takes a deep breath. "Okay, okay, I see what you mean and I'll try to remain calm about this. But make no mistake, that is not a prom-" "Excuse me, sir?" a Footman interrupts Astronomus. "This better be damn important if you have to stop me mid sentence." The now nervous Footman replies, "Well sir, I've been told to inform you that even though it was only a couple minutes since your order was broadcast, but we already have a ship in Dock A-5 reporting finding a foreign stowaway in their cargo bay." "Then bring them to me." Said Astronomus. "R-Right away, Sir!" The Footman hurried off. Astronomus turned back to Zentreya, "Do you think it's them?" "It's not likely, they have stolen ships, there is no need to hide in cargo bays for transport. This could just be a refugee or some common smuggler. Given your orders we are going to be finding them a lot." She said, "If they're not the guys we are looking for can you do one thing for me?" "What is it?" He asked. "At the very least, don't tear yourself up over it." It takes Astronomus a second to respond, "*sigh* I'll try." "Sir!" Called the Footman from before, "This is the stowaway, she hasn't said a word since we found her." The Footman pushes forward a cloaked woman, covered in dirt. The parts of her that were visible revealed implanted machinery that was clearly damaged and the skin some bruises and scars. She lifted a hand to move back her hood. Her hand was missing it's 3rd finger. Once the hood was off she lifted her head. Astronomus and Zentreya looked on in shock to see Melody standing before them. In a distorted, electronic voice she said, "I-I-I ne-e-ed he-he-lp."
