Warren crosses his arms and closes his eyes.
"But to have everyone in one area, we're missing a few pieces of crucial information. One, how will we know where Grim will go? And two, how will we convince everyone to go to that location?"
Ayvex looks to me and nods.
"If you truly absorbed Nevereth, and you do have his memories, then you should have his gift. His gift isn't physical strength, or heightened intelligence. His gift was magic creation, and if you absorbed him, then you should have that gift as well."
I close my eyes, digging deep into Nevereth's memories for how to use his gift. I extend my hand, recreating what he did and how it felt in his latest use of creating magic. Shockingly, a sword appears in my hand.
I look to the newly summoned weapon, then look back to Ayvex.
"But how does he do it? In the memory, he doesn't even concentrate on it, it's almost second nature. But the farther I look back, the fuzzier the feeling gets."
Ayvex shakes her head, looking at me.
"He never told me how he did it, but he did love to show off his new spells when he did create new ones. The reason I bring it up, is that if you can create a spell to talk to everyone on a continent, then we can organize much faster."
Azeroth quickly responds.
"But what if they don't want to work with us? What if, for some reason, they decide to not help?"
Ayvex closes her eyes and sighs deeply.
"Then, we may need to use a dominate spell to force them to help us. I know, however, that Lathric will follow me anywhere if I ask them too. The bigger problem is knowing which continent Grim plans on attacking."
As she finishes speaking, I close my eyes and try to find Grim's plan in his memories. While digging through the memories I can see, I hear Grim talking about Sathric.
"We'll start with the place where I was previously defeated! Burn them all, spare no one!"
I quickly relay this memory to Ayvex, and she clenches her fist again.
"Damn, so he holds a grudge against Sathric for what happened. Well, at least that means we only need to convince the people of Vathric."
She immediately holds her hand down to the ground. I see everyone step onto her palm, then look back to me.
"There's no other way to cross the ocean quickly."
Blankk says. I nod and quickly get into her palm. She raises her hand and places us on her shoulder.
"Hold on, I'll be going faster than I was before."
We all latch onto her plated armor around her shoulders and neck. In a flash, her body flattens and rockets forward. Her wings flap from time to time to gain altitude, or to force herself through the air faster. I close my eyes while gripping tightly, trying my hardest to learn to create magic.
After about ten minutes, we fly over the edge of Vathric. She stops abruptly, but strangely we don't feel a sudden change in momentum. She drops us all to the ground as guards start quickly filling up the streets. I try my hardest to create a spell while holding out my hands with my eyes closed, but to no avail.
As I'm about to try something else, I feel a hand on my wrist. I quickly open my eyes, but see nothing on my wrist. A voice rings through my ears.
"You're doing it wrong. Don't force it, let it come naturally. My gift isn't to create magic, it's to shape it. Magic is everywhere, formless, meaningless. It's up to us to give it a meaning."
Nevereth's voice rings in my head as I once again close my eyes. The sound of heavy footsteps running towards us tell me that the guards are charging. I inhale deeply, feeling an odd calmness setting in.
"I don't know if I understand it, but I will try. I want to make them listen, to tell everyone what they need to hear. I want to tell these people, this country, this continent! Let them hear me!"
I clench my fist, feeling a wave of energy seemingly spinning wildly in my palm. I exhale deeply, and open my palm. A beam of blue shoots up from my palm to the sky, then arcs into millions of individual lines. Everyone suddenly stops running and looks to me. Without thinking, I put my palm against Ayvex. She must understand what happened, and in an instant starts talking.
"People of Vathric, we are sorry for what has occured here in recent times. I know there has been panic, death, destruction, and a newfound sense of dread. We take full responsibility of these occurrences. But, we come here now to tell you, that may only be the beginning. We call for your aid, a long forgotten monster has reawakened and nowhere will be safe."
I see all eyes glued on Ayvex as she speaks
"Grim will move from place to place, killing everyone he deems unworthy. So as it stands, you have three bad choices. One, you can stay here and wait for the next week or so for Grim to arrive and scorch this continent. Two, you can try to find and appease him before he kills you all. Though, you'll most likely be scorched for even daring to speak to him."
Ayvex nods her head for me to get on her back, which I do quickly. She floats high into the air and grabs her sword.
"Or, your third and best option."
She rips her sword from the sheathe, a blinding white light stretching far in every direction.
"Help us! Team up with the other continents and fight off this ancient evil as a united front! I implore you, please help us. If we fail, everything will burn, and no individual army will be able to stop him."
She pauses for a moment, lowering her sword to her side.
"I know you believe your better than the other continents and civilizations, but right now, we are all ants to this monster. Please, help us. Help the other continents. Help to save the world."
