"Y-you, you're a, a monster."
He says, tripping and stumbling over his own words. Fear has flooded his once prideful eyes as I smile and keep him pinned down.
"So, about this guild you are with, The Alliance? Tell me all you know about them."
I demand as he shakes from fear and starts speaking.
"We, uh, we are a guild that tries to, um, give people a place to go. The, the people who don't have homes or family normally join us."
He says as I push down harder onto his chest, denting the metal armor and causing him to wince in pain. Vex puts his hand on my shoulder and shakes his head.
"He's already telling us what we want, no need to hurt him more right now. I like fighting as much as the next guy, but unnecessary torture isn't what we need right now."
Vex says as I sigh and take my foot off of him.
"Again. What is your name?"
I ask as he sits up and stares at me.
"Um, Gregorio Marcus. Fourth in command to The Alliance."
He says quietly as I nod.
"So what do we get from winning a Guild Game?"
I ask while looking towards Warren.
"Well, normally you would receive a large sum of money, or possibly even land owned by the defeated party. But since neither of you bet anything at the start of the game, this match was simply for honor and respect."
Warren replies as I nod and look away.
"So if I challenge Wolfpack and have us both bet everything we own, I could take down Wolfpack in one fell swoop. It would also put us in a better position to aim for higher guilds as well."
I mumble to myself as Gregorio looks up to me.
"Wolfpack? You're trying to take down an A-Class Guild?"
He asks as I look down at him.
"Well, technically we are either A-Class or S-Class. We just haven't updated our score yet."
I say as he stares at me blankly.
"How could you get to that score in only a few days? That's impossible."
He mumbles to himself, still slightly shaking from fear.
I suddenly notice no Notice appeared.
"Do you not receive experience from Guild Games?"
I ask as Warren shakes his head.
"You should have received experience from killing them if nothing else."
He replies as I pause for a moment.
"Hey, what level were your men?"
I ask as Gregorio replies quickly.
"Most of them were level twenty. I'm the highest level amongst my ground at level thirty."
Maybe the higher level you are, the less likely you are to receive experience from a fight? So I'll have to keep fighting things on level.
I think as I sigh and scratch my arm.
"So where is your main outpost? I'm not too concerned if the entire guild is this weak, but just in case I'm ever in the area, I'll challenge them to a Guild Game."
I ask as I look to Gregorio. He hesitantly speaks up.
"T-the main post for our guild is in Moros. The capital of Sathric."
He replies as he takes a deep breath. I smile.
"For answering my questions, I'll grant you mercy."
I say as he smiles faintly.
"So, you'll let me liv-"
I kick his head, crushing his skull and splattering blood across the road from the impact. Vex quickly grabs my shoulder and stares at me.
"Why did you do that, he was cooperating?!"
Vex shouts as I nod.
"Anyone who talks down to my friends is forfeiting their life. Cooperating just makes the death quick and painless."
Vex grits his teeth, then sighs and looks to Gregorio. I see Mia sitting on Carrina's shoulders about 30 feet away watching with a faint smile. Blankk speaks up.
"So, what now?"
He asks as I look to him.
"I'm headed north, to find someone else strong. I was told someone with unrivaled strength is that way."
I reply as everyone nods. Warren laughs.
"I've only been to the north once, very cold and very hostile. A lot of strong enemies there. The only city that comes to mind is Tevintis. I think that city also has several S-Class Dungeons."
Warren says as I smile.
"So even more areas to train, that gives me even more incentive to get there."
I say as Vex looks at us.
"How many miles away is Tevintis?"
He asks as Warren stops for a moment.
"About two weeks from here."
Warren replies as Vex cracks his knuckles.
"So almost four hundred miles?"
He mumbles as he takes a deep breath, then he squats and stretches.
"Dante, you and I can carry them. We can also run faster than any horses. About one thousand times faster than a horse. So if we run, we will be exhausted and need to take breaks, but it should only be a few hours."
Vex says as I nod and squat down.
"Wait, I just remembered. [Shadow Stalk 5]."
Vex mumbles as he quickly grabs everyone and vanishes. As I look around I hear everyone talking in my head. I shake my head and squint while Vex calms everyone down.
"Dante, we are all inside your shadow. I'm not sure how long I can hold this spell though so you should start running."
He says as I grit my teeth and smile.
"I guess that's fair, but I wish I could just sit back and relax while someone else carries me."
I say as I start running as fast as possible. Weaving in and out of trees and obstacles. Per step I feel like I'm traveling hundreds of times faster than normal. I dash through nature, the air coming off of me almost pushing trees while running through the woods. Leaves flying everywhere with every step I take. In the blink of an eye, I'm running straight towards a building.
Without stopping or hesitating, I jump as hard as I can and go over the 2 story building. As I land, I continue running, the air pressure knocking over carts and causing panic and fear in the people I run past.
"Smooth Dante, real smooth."
I hear Azeroth say as I look over my shoulder at my shadow.
"Don't make me come in there!"
