If you were to ask a random person to list the most used spaces within the Sage's Valley the first would be the training field where the disciples generally spent their time practicing their techniques and sparing. Because of this the second most frequented location within the sect was its infirmary, which unsurprisingly always had filled beds.
Right now, one of its beds was being occupied not by a sect disciple but rather an outsider. This person was none other than the eldest prince of the Solis kingdom Charles Solstitium.
"… Where am I?" questioned Charles as he woke up.
"You're in the valley's infirmary" replied Luther.
Upon seeing Luther, Charles was instantly aware of who he was. Forcing himself into an upright position so that he could greet him properly
"Elder Noctis it's an honor to see you. Were you the one who saved me?" queried Charles.
"Sit down, you're going to reopen your wounds." Said Luther as he helped Charles lay down. "Yes, I was the one who saved you. What kind of uncle would I be if I let my niece's boyfriend die in front of me?" stated Luther.
"You know about us?" said Charles in shock.
"Nothing escapes my vision, especially when it concerns family" said Luther matter of factly.
"I thought you and Andrea were just master and disciple I didn't know that you were related" said Charles.
"I told Andrea not to talk about her family, I didn't want her to rely on connections and become one of those spoiled second generations." Replied Luther.
For Luther this was a justified fear, after all he had seen multiple families destroyed because of arrogant juniors.
"If you knew about us why didn't you say anything?" asked Charles in evident confusion.
"Well to be honest I wanted to see how you guys would deal with the problems at hand. Though if you did ask me for help I would have assisted you in working out a solution." replied Luther.
"Though that's something we can deal with later, you've been out cold for over an hour the ceremonies going to start any minute. Here's a new set of clothing get dressed and we'll head out together." said Luther as he handed them the Charles before stepping out of the room.
After a couple minutes he was joined by Charles who was dressed in the formal attire of the Sage's Valley which resembled the traditional garb of tang era nobility.
Luther gave him a quick once over before giving Charles a smile of approval. "You ready? let's go." said Luther.

The Guru's memorial ballroom was a special place within the Sage's Valley. On normal days the ballroom went unused, but all major non-combat events hosted by the sect were held within its walls. Today the ballroom was set up with multiple circular tables that were finely decorated around its edges, and a stage setup at its far end leaving enough room for a dance floor in its center. The walls were guided in gold and studded with gemstones there were three giant crystal chandlers hanging from the ceiling. Once again, the valley's wealth was on full display. when guests entered the ballroom, they were greeted by mural depicted the valley's history as well as portraits of the sect's key members.
The room was filled with the beautiful melody of classical music. The musicians playing at this event were among the best the continent had to offer. They felt honored to have the chance to preform at such an event and were determined to play to the best of their ability. And it showed as many of the ensemble's members couldn't were playing better than they have ever played before.
"Wow!" When Charles entered the ballroom, he could help but exclaim in awe when he saw its splendor. "This is more impress than the royal ballroom back home!"
"Thanks" said Luther in response to Charles' comments.
"…" Charles chose to stay silent and proceeded to sit in his assigned seat.
"Hahaha" Luther laughed as he walked over to his seat.
"You seem to be having fun" said a female voice to Luther as he sat down.
Sitting directly at Luther's right was a young with the appearance of a 19-year-old. She held a clear resemblance to Luther though there were some differences. This girl was Andrea Lumen, Luther's niece and Charles' "secret" girlfriend.
"Of course I did, teasing that boyfriend of yours" joked Luther. "though I don't know why you're so concerning with me it's not like it was me who nearly died today" continued Luther.
"Who? Who nearly died? Was it Charles?" asked Andrea with panic in her voice.
Smack!
Right at that moment Luther received a smack to the back of his head. The person who hit him was a woman who bore a strike resemblance to him, in fact she could be described as a female Luther. This woman was Gillian Lumen, Luther's twin sister.
"Stop teasing my daughter." Said Gillian. She then turned and faced her daughter, "Your boyfriends fine. A little banged up but he'll be good as new with a little rest." Explained Gillian in a soothing tone.
"You can see him after the ceremony, but settle down for now, things are about to start"
Just as Gillian finished talking the master of ceremonies announced the arrival of the events main characters with a thunderous shout.
"Announcing the arrival of his grace; Ocean King of The West Zander Libertas, her grace The Guardian of the South, Charlotte Sapientiae. And for the first time making her debut miss Isabella Libertas-Sapientiae!" declared the MC to all those present.
