After Sausage fingers finished with him for the day he didn't place him back in his regular place. Instead he took him out to a different part of his place. Unfortunately the place was dark so he really couldn't see things clearly. It looked like the other part of a shop-his shop. So the man sold his creations right here. Interesting. There were different sizes of swords; short and long. Daggers that he was sure it was just as beautiful as the larger blades. There were other things in there but he didn't catch them as he was brought up a couple flights of stairs to a large open window. He was placed in the window seal where there were three large, bright moons high in the sky and lit the world beyond. From where he sat he could see trees almost as far as the eye could see. Just beyond the trees it looked like a pool of sparkling water. Two suns and three moons? That wasn't right. The world he remembered only had one of each. Where on earth was he? Even the world outside the window looked more beautiful and untouched by the destruction of humankind. Did he get sent to some other dimension where none of that happened? Or maybe-
Just then Sausage fingers spoke to him. "Du vil be meg greatest creation."*1
Greatest creation? Was he talking about him? Yashi already thought of himself as great; he didn't need Sausage fingers to tell him that. With that the man left Yashi to himself, soaking in the moon's light. The cool breeze that came from the window was nice as it had been and still was pretty warm outside. Little did he know was that after tonight he would no longer be stuck in the back. He would return to that room they passed through.
He blinked and soon enough the sun started to raise above the pool of water and then the trees. Sausage fingers returned to him and brought him back to a large room. He was right. It appeared to be a weapons shop. But it wasn't just weapons like him. There were shields and armor of all sorts of shapes and sizes. Yashi was actually rather impressed by the sheer work and thought that these pieces were made from. The attention to detail was just breathtaking. He wondered if that's what he looked like too. All these pieces were just so beautiful that it brought tears to his eyes. He could be totally fine with just sitting inside of this room among all of these pieces of work. Unfortunately that wouldn't be the case.
It wasn't long before that pair returned. He could tell by their voices before they even entered the room. Sausage fingers greeted them with a huge smile. He actually looked pleased which looked weird on his face. Not only that but these two looked tiny as they were about half his size. Geez, was this guy a giant or something? When the pair got closer he spotted something heavy behind them. It certainly took him by surprise.
"What…?" Yashi couldn't believe what his eyes were seeing.
The female paused and looked over at her partner, then to the owner, before looking about the shop. A confused and almost worried look appeared on her beautiful features. She had stunning eyes that stood out from everything else he had ever laid sight on. One was blue and the other a shade of brilliant red. If he wasn't mistaken they almost look like blazing fires within their depths. But that's just silly, right? However, no matter how he looked at them, that's what he saw. She had dark freckles splashed across her nose and cheek that faded into what looked like scales that then disappeared into her hair. Those scales had an iridescent shine to them. They were mesmerizing. She wore a dark cloak that covered her head and hid most of her hair and other features. But he was certain about the tail that dragged behind her. The dark red that might even be mistaken for black scales also had a iridescent shine when the lighting hit them just right. He could only guess that the entire tail was like that as only the bottom half shown past the cloak she wore. Her aura was rather intimidating and she didn't even seem to be trying to be threatening. In fact she was smiling at Sausage fingers.
"So this sword you were working on, is it finished now? You said you were on the finishing touches-" God, even her voice was beautiful-wait. He could understand her now?
"I'm lost…" he spoke aloud to himself again.
"What? You're lost?" She said turning to look in his direction. Her eyes widened when she saw him. The two beside her looked at her confused. Neither one had spoken to her yet she responded as if someone had talked to her. Her partner gave her a look of concern for a brief moment before clearing it from his features when she turned quickly to glance at him then to Sausage fingers. "Is 'that' the sword?" She emphasized on the word that as she pointed right at him. If she hadn't looked scary before she sure did now. An intent gaze like that would turn any man into stone if he wasn't careful.
"Y-yes?" Sausage fingers responded in a question as if he wasn't sure how to respond to her now. His composure was frazzled by this woman's reaction.
"I'll take him." The words came from her lips without any hesitation. "I will take the sword." She repeated when the man didn't respond to her right away.
"Awkward…" Yashi whispered, unsure what was happening.
The skin around her right eye twitched in response to his words. A small smile rose on his lips. So she could hear him. This could work for him. "You can hear me, can't you?" He knew she could now even though she tried her best to ignore him. She could hear him yet she still wanted him. Interesting.
"Ah, r-right. Sorry. I just thought you would want to at least pick it up and test it or something befo-" Sausage fingers tried to speak but he was cut off by her waving her hand. When it was clear he wasn't entirely convinced she quickly moved to him and lifted him up.
A shiver rose through his entire blade when her skin came into contact with his hilt. The clear quartz crystal at the end of the hilt flashed a vibrant red then blue then gold before resting at a soft red. The air around his blade swirled around it as it turned red and black like mist rising from the tip of it. The cloak she wore bellowed around her as the air continued to swirl around him. Different symbols glowed a burning red on his blade as the woman's grip on him tightened. She stared down at him shocked before a slow smile rose on her lips. Her head turned just as slow to the man, "I'm sure this is the one."
Sausage fingers eyes gleamed as he watched the sight before him. The other guy on the other hand seemed to be kind of scared. It was as if he could smell the fear starting to pour from him. Yashi could tell that the man tried really hard to hold back his fear but he couldn't escape from him.
Yashi glanced about the room. "Well, that's new. I don't think I've ever done that before."
The woman smirked down at him and then followed the other two as they had already begun to walk to the counter so she could pay for her weapon.
"That's because you were made for me…" Yashi couldn't help but look up at her in surprise that she actually responded to him. Her partner turned to look at her.
"Did you say something?"
"No, it's nothing. Pay the man what's due and let's go." Without waiting for him to respond she turned and headed out of the shop and out into the bright sunlit day. He wasn't sure if it was because there were two suns or if it was just bright because there were no clouds in the sky to hide them. "I'll have to come up with a good name for you." Yashi wanted to argue but he had a feeling that she wouldn't listen to him anyways. No matter, he was free from that shop and Sausage fingers torture. At last he could see the world and then get his revenge.
