Lili blinked her eyes, speechless. Her pinkish eyes narrowed, then she opened her veil a bit as she got closer to Rico and smiled gently. "You may come to hate me. But even so, please let me be off with calling you 'Coco' in the future."
Rico shook his head, "I won't, how could I hate Lili?" He put his right hand side by side with Lili's left hand. "If that time would ever come, Lili had to remind me that Lili was my savior."
Lili tilted and said, "Why?"
Rico grinned, "Because I'm the type to lose sense when I'm in high spirit."
"High spirit?"
"Well, you could say that I would swayed by emotion that time." Rico laughed at the image of his appearance when he was in high spirit.
Lili nodded in silence as she didn't know if she could promise that or not. After all, she needed to avoid the likes of Rico. There was something pulling her and by any chance, it could hurt anyone near her. So, no, Lili would rather take the burden and hid it within her self than endanger someone elses.

'A power to rule
For the shake of the truth,
A never-ending cruelty,
And a cursed reality
Let go the worthless
Let go the weakest
Let go the hopeless
Then sekai would be miserable less
Especially, from those so-called noblesse'
(Note : 'Sekai' means 'world' in Japanese while 'isekai' means 'heaven', 'afterlife', also said as 'another world')
Remember the previous chapter, about the door to choose in reincarnation section? (chapter III) There were five doors with more than seven destination a.k.a unlimited destinations. Although the outcome of the seven of them (the unlimited destination) would be the same, they would become the spirit in the magic crystal. The rest of it would become another being that have nothing to do with the other seven (mostly become a swordman or alchemist that didn't even need a single piece of magic stone).
There were total of seven magic crystal around the world, quite rare to be seen and hardly could be differentiated from another ordinary gemstone. One of it was the oldest and the most ancient piece, with a transparent glass-like crystal planted on necklace. The other following was the similar kind of gem as orange spinel, amber-like, peridot, blue zircon as clear as crystal-like lake, kunzite, and indigo iolite crystal. In fact, there was a crimson blood colored crystal, ruby, as well. But it rarely appeared because of a typical circumstance needed to be the 'ruby', that was why the 'ruby' considered as the rarest beside the ancient piece.
The transparent piece could change the color if there was another coming for 'trial'. The previous spirit would go out and 'walking' around the world until the 'trial time' came to end. Additional info, the spirit of magic crystal usually used the form of a female, but there were also a few male if the circumstances met.
They once had no name until they decided to have one to call themselves. The name of those spirits were Vida (transparent piece; could change name according to the master; a quiet and observant type), Melissa (orange spinel; could not change name; a cheerful and playful type), Cecilia (amber-like gem; could not change name; a calm and rational type), these three are the strongest.
Carlos (peridot; could not change name; a cheerful and playful type), Dino (blue zircon; could change name according to the master; a smart and have leadership type), the two of them were the only male. Though they're not the strongest, no one would likely pick a fight with them. These two didn't quite like humans or other races to begin with, so they'd choose to stay somewhere secluded.
The other two were twins and the youngest. Aika (kunzite; could change name according to the master; an observant, had a mischievous and sarcastic side, also all-tech (like technology) type) and Nia (iolite; could not change name; a quiet, observant, and detailed type). They love sweets, playing, and would love to play pranks on the elderly. They hated discrimination and they would make sure that whoever discriminate would end in a bad way.
Here, a short data :
° Vida (>10k y.o.) – female – alchemist
° Melissa (>5k y.o.) – female – tamer
° Cecilia (>5k y.o.) – female – healer
° Carlos (>4k y.o.) – male – swordman
° Dino (>4k y.o.) – male – archer
° Aika (>4k y.o.) – female – status hacker
° Nia (>4k y.o.) – female – secretary
[Note : They could go out out in their human form whenever they like, but they have to hide their identity as a spirit of magic crystal]
As mentioned before, magic crystal was rare, so, the spirit in it even more. In the previous years, many were captured because they told their identity to human race. That was why, other than Vida, none of them was even older than six thousand years. It was a problem, the longer spirit of magic crystal lived, the stronger they became. But, it was dreadful when it turned out otherwise.
If the previous spirit resided in the crystal got captured, killed, or tormented, the crystal color would naturally become darker and would contain dark aura that will emit poison for more than hundreds of years. These had happened several times and Vida as the oldest one, made an agreement with human kingdoms to not capture crystal spirit anymore. In return, the human race would be assisted every time they went through the spirit's territory. Well, the spirit's territory had a lot of rare animal, rare herbs, and other rare material, so the human kingdoms agreed to the deal.
[Note : Spirit of magic crystal have their own territory, not to rule, but to protect and take care of. Their territory is protected by barriers and illusion spells, so other races tend to get lost in those places]
But, unfortunately, there were a few who didn't follow the rule and even captured plus tortured the very new spirit of magic crystal to extract the spirit's mana. Mana from spirit were very powerful and with just a little bit of it, one could even use a high-level magic easily. Coincidentally, one of the captured spirits was the 'ruby', the rarest among the rarest. The 'ruby' also had a quite close relationship with the 'ancient', this was the reason the great human kingdom fell and perished in one night.
None of the spirit looked sympathetic toward the human, they have already been very sympathetic by only doing an agreement without mentioning the past evil deeds. And this was what they got in return for being kind. This was why the spirits sealed themselves and hid their crystal form in dungeon, only the worthy one may have them. Though every dungeon (there were more than a hundred dungeons and only seven great dungeons ruled by each one demon lord, the master of the magic crystal) were not that easy to get through alive.
Still want to proceed? 'The honor would be ours,' the high-level monsters mumbled as the brainless adventures ranged into the dungeon with an arrogant attitude. So long, the one whom not worthy even for a penny, they would… die… 'marvelously'.
"Don't you agree?" said a girl with a black hair and blue eyes with a mischievous smile on her face.
"Arrogance is a big 'NO' on being a hero. Heroes existed not to kill the demon lords, but to prevent them to go all out upon human kingdoms with their power." A boy with a blonde hair and blue eyes added as he turned his gaze to his right side.
"But, humans indeed are greedy, they want treasures from the dungeon, so the heroes' mission from prevent, then changed to kill the demon lords." A girl with honey brown hair and green eyes who sat beside the boy who spoke just now sighed with a casual looks.
"Well, as long as the heroes 'have brain', then it'll be fine." Another boy with black hair and red eyes said as he snapped his fingers and blinked his left eye.
"I agree so." A black haired girl with a pair of gold eyes nodded.
"Me too~" Another black haired girl with a gold color for the left eye and aquamarine color for the right eye.
"Well, then…" A girl with white silver-like hair and pinkish eyes stared coldly.
"… what do you think?"
The seven pair of eyes glowing in the dark, as if they were ready to 'hunt'. Cold stare that could break even the slightest of courage. Gazing and stared to you all. So, what do you think?
