It has been a long time. Forty-five years had passed by in the blink of an eye. The heroes summoned before was Rio, Amira, Lin, and Vel. They had subjugated three of the seven great dungeon and other 'mini' dungeons. Although not all dungeon 'finished', the heroes have completed such a good job and was awarded.
They got riches, status, mansion, and even… their very own rights to command and train an army. Rio as the sword, got a title of Marquez Bataille and specifically trained the palace's guard and national army. Amira as the healer, got a title of Countess Heilen and trained the apprentice of the healer either in the national army pack or in the capital church. Lin as the arcer and sorcerer, got a title of Marchioness Freccia, she specifically trained the arcer and contributed herself in magic weapons manufacture. Last but not least, Vel as the dark magic user, got a title of Duke Malhideg, trained only those with magic from the basic until the highest level and had established a school with the other heroes.
The name behind their titles were bestowed by their guardian spirits. And the name became their middle name here and now. The heroes were a national valuable asset of country. Therefore, the reward blessed upon them would not be just of a small number.
The heroes managed their house very well. They even built a great school named 'Great Hero Academy' for learning sword, magic, and other needed subject such as common sense of money, magic aura, math, foreign languages, and much more. The teachers were well-known for etiquette and their intelligence, their magic aptitude were also of a great deal.
The nation depended on them. But in national or even international trade, it was another way. Even the trend was a great deal and had a big impact on the social life, whether it was in the village or capital.
"Uncle, this one got lost. She also hurt her leg." A young boy said as he opened and entered the office's door while holding the hand of a young girl with him.
Mark turned his face toward a fifteen years old boy who was holding hand with an about fourteen years old young girl.
Mark nodded, "You've done a good job, Mile. Would you be kind to bring her to the pavilion beside the training ground? I would be right back after I finished this pile of documents." Mark said as he pointed at two piles of paper on his desk with a smile on his face.
Mark was a secretary and Duke Malhideg's personal aide. Mark was known for his intelligence and unique skill. The unique skill was he could ask nature spirits to do his job with perfect marks and in a short time. Although if Mark felt like he could do it fast, he would not ask the spirits.
Mile shook his head, "We would wait here, then." Mile held the young girl to follow him and helped her to sit on the red couch, right beside the desk of Mark.
The young girl touched her chin, "It must be tough… Uncle doing it alone, isn't it, Mile?"
Mile nodded a bit, "Yes, Mel, sometimes I feel like Uncle Mark was even busier day by day."
Mark chuckled, "I am used to it, Little Miss."
The young girl held the edge of her hat and lifted up, then put it down on her lap. Her hair was a shiny black colored and her eyes resembled a crystal-like blue color. Mile and Mark were stunned by how doll-like the young girl looked.
Mile stroked the young girl's hair. "Uwah… Mel's hair… so soft and fluffy…" Mile looked like he liked the fluffy, soft, and sparkly hair of her.
The young girl giggled, "Thank you, my sister always say that too. Oh… where's my honor…" The young girl smiled gently as she bowed down a little bit while still sitting because her leg was hurt. "My name is Melissa from the Ruhe family."
Mark gaped a bit, "Do you mean the Ruhe family, the great merchant who distributed silks, jewels, and rare multifunctional things? The Ruhe family that contributed a big amount of fund to aide the victims of a few nature disaster in the South?"
Melissa tilted, "Was it wrong to help someone? Daddy taught Mel and sisters and brothers to do so." Melissa turned to Mile who still holding hand with her, "Was Mel wrong, Mile?"
Mile shook his head, "Mel is a good girl, Mel does a good job." Mile thumbed up his left thumb with a fascinated expression.
Then the two of them turned to Mark, "She's not wrong, right, Uncle?" said Mile.
Mark just could not ignore the two puppy-eyeing kids in front of him. Mark sighed as he got up from his seat and approached them. "No, my apologies. Lady Melissa, allow me to confirm something." Melissa nodded.
"Is Lady Melissa the youngest daughter of Lord Francis Al Ruhe?" Mark asked as he kneeled on one knee in front of Melissa.
Melissa nodded, "Yes, do you know Daddy?"
Who would not know him? The greatest merchant that could make others to beg on their knees only to get his rare goods. There were a lot who would pay any amount of money just to get the membership to Ruhe's Manufacture House. There were rumors that the one who suggested all the goods tobe made and distributed was the Ruhe's youngest daughter, followed by the other Ruhe's daughter who made another branch of Ruhe's Delicacies House. Even the most composed lady, the Royal Princess Sharon, could not stay calm when her membership card to Ruhe's Delicacies House has not been approved.
Mark gulped, he remembered that her youngest sister could not get the sweets from Ruhe's due to the violation of the Twenty Rule of Ruhe's House. Mark heard, that sister of him got into a debate with a few noble ladies because of a piece of chocolate cake. They ended up causing a discomfort for other customers, so their membership got held for a few weeks (that meant they could not buy any sweet from Ruhe's). Mark looked at Melissa, her eyes are so clear that Mark didn't have any idea how Melissa got the idea and even be the one who managed one of the great business of Ruhe.
"Lady Melissa, I have a request."
