Lukas and Mika grew closer day by day. Even though Mika hated him in the beginning for treating her like that. Months later, Mika slowly got used to her life. She started to trust him slowly. He didn't do anything that would hurt her in any ways. They didn't really make out in the beginning, it was just his lust overtaking him.
But, Lukas had self-control and stopped himself. He knew it wasn't right. He had to treat a woman right even though he was a womanizer before. His behavior were always cold and controlling but as months passed, he changed his ways.
Mika helped Lukas with his reports as he worked on his other works. She was in his office and looked at Lukas, "He really is different from Anthony even though they are twins." Lukas looked at her with curiosity, "What is it?" Mika shook her head and she immediately stared into her laptop, "Nothing."
Shw felt blood rush all over her whenever Lukas stared at her. Her heart rate went up the roof. Lukas went over to Mika and sat beside her, "This feels good." As he used her shoulder as his pillow, "Call me if anyone needs me." Mika nodded shyly. Her brain was going crazy, her heart was beating so fast. Stop it, Mika... or He'll hear your heart beat, she thought to herself.
It was almost lunch time, Mika felt so hungry but Lukas was still sleeping soundly. She didn't want to wake him up so she stayed still on the sofa. David came in knocking on the door, "Boss, these are the information you needed." Mika looked at David and she pointed on Lukas. David smiled and left the information on his desk, he quietly left the room and closed the door. Mika sighed in relief.
Lukas woke up in the afternoon feeling a bit energized.
"Thank you, Mika." Luka looked at her and smiled slightly. Mika didn't say anything because she was shy all of a sudden.
"Your face is all red, are you alright?" Lukas looked at her and kind of laughed.
Mika stood up and covered her face, "I'm fine. It's nothing, it's a bit hot in here."
Lukas stood up and gave her a backhug, "Mika, can we start over again? I'm sorry about what I did in the past." Mika thought about it for a while and nodded.
She was glad Lukas changed his ways but he was only warm to her. He trusted her. After a while, he got a call from the front desk.
"Ask him to come up." It was Anthony who came into Lukas' office. He waved at Mika smiling but she stayed close to Lukas.
"Why are you here?" Lukas' cold voice returned without any kindness. Anthony laughed, "Why are you so upworked? I'm just visiting my twin brother and my girl, Mika." Lukas shoved Mika behind him, "Leave her out of our conversation. If you need to say anything, say it to me." Anthony looked at Mika, "I'll always wait for you. You can always come to me." Lukas was getting impatient, "Stop beating around the bush." Anthony nodded and walked around Lukas' office, "This position was suppose to be mine from the beginning. You stole it from me. Father was suppose to give this position to me." He pointed to Lukas' desk.
"Just because I did something wrong in the past, it doesn't mean this position belongs to you! I was better than you in everything. I'm smart, I was the one that father loved the most. Why did he give this position to you?!" Mika butted in, "Anthony, what I can see is that you are very self-centered. Lukas may be controlling and cold but he always thought about others. I understood that you liked me but you will never be as good as Lukas. You need to change your attitude." Mika went in front of Lukas and defended him, "Lukas, I'll be fine." Mika continued, "Anthony, you are also a businessman. Are you self-centered towards your own employees? You guys are brothers, I don't know what happened in the past but please... respect each other." Mika finished talking and Luka smiled at her.
"Anthony, enough is enough." Anthony looked pissed off, "Lukas, I'll never let you off the hook. Mika, you don't know anything about this bastard." Anthony headed out of the office angrily.
Mika let out a sigh of relief and looked at Lukas, "It's finally over." Lukas looked at Mika but his dizziness came back, he held her hands tightly. He shook his head and tried to keep his composure. Mika held onto him to keep him from fainting.
"Is it better now?" Lukas slightly nodded as Mika led Lukas to the sofa and they sat down, "How about we go to the doctor? You looked very pale for the past couple of days." Lukas shook his head, "I don't like the hospital." Mika embraced him so he can rest on her. Lukas hugged her and felt much better. He checked his watch and noticed Mika didn't eat yet, "You must be hungry. I'll call David to buy you something to eat." Mika laughed, "At least you noticed." Her stomach growled and she was so embarrassed. Lukas chuckled, "My little lamb is hungry." He teased Mika and she threw a soft pillow at him.
"Hey!" Mika pouted and ignored him. Lukas back hugged her again, "I'm sorry. I won't do that again." Mika smiled and she turned to Lukas, "Lukas, thank you!" She hugged him ignoring the fact David just came in.
