Several years after Ranma was reborn as Kamijou Touma, Ranma had an enjoyable time receiving the affection from his parents given by Shiina and Touya. Something he never fully got from Nodoka and Genma.
As a father, Genma's never taught Ranma a right things. Genma always told Ranma that as a martial arts expert, honor was something they should prioritize.
But unfortunately Genma's behavior who loves to make a false promises and various petty crimes does not reflect the honor of a martial artist And the lazy Genma always think his son Ranma as a money making machine and not as his son.
The only good thing that Genma taught Ranma was martial arts (Anything Goes Martial Art) which made Ranma strong physically and mentally. Because the physical exercise that Ranma had to do was very heavy and a tremendous burden for his mentality. Fortunately, during the fourteen years of traveling with Genma, there were many people who taught Ranma the right moral values, so that Ranma did not grow up to became like his father.
Nodoka gave Ranma genuine affection as a mother, and she was able to change her nature which used to force Ranma to be overly manly. And fortunately after a lot of things that happened between the two of them, Nodoka could be a much better mother to Ranma.
He could even accept Ranma's female form much better. Nodoka doesn't even force Ranma to be a man among men anymore. But unfortunately Ranma couldn't enjoy Nodoka's affection for a long time, because he had to sacrifice himself so Nodoka could live. And that was the only regret he felt in his new life.
Like Touma, Ranma had experienced a lot of misfortune in his life. But combined with the chaotic fate that he had, he began to experience the misfortune at the age of four. But thanks to the martial practice he had been secretly practicing since the age of three, all the misfortunes he had to endured was easily overcome by him. Besides martial arts training, Ranma also trained to use the Imagine Breaker in his right hand so that he could use it more efficiently. Unlike the original Touma who are to lazy and afraid to try controling his own power and instead addicted in helping people.
Since training to control Imagine Breaker was much more difficult than practicing martial arts, it took Ranma quite a while to practice controlling Imagine Breaker so that he could at least use Imagine Breaker to stop the negative energy leaking from his right hand.
To the point, finally Ranma no longer had bad luck. And that's all he achieved when he was six years old.
So far, Ranma hasn't had the chance to use his Empathy Mimicry at all, because in the city where he lives, there is absolutely no one else who has the same supernatural powers as him.
Ranma knows that in the crossover world where he lives his second life, there is an Academy City just like in the Toaru Majutsu anime. And Ranma was sure that he wouldn't go to the Academy City, because he wasn't considered a bad omen by the people in his town like the real Kamijou Touma.
But all of Ranma's guesses were proven wrong when someone that he didn't expect would exist in the crossover world, came to his house when he was just seven years old.

Hiko Seijuro XIII, the world's greatest swordsman, one of the strongest men in the world and father of Kamijou Shiina came to see his daughter after he had not seen her for more than eight years. When Shiina married Touya, eight years earlier Hiko did not approve of the marriage between Shiina and Touya. And because of that there was a big fight between Shiina and Hiko because Hiko didn't approve of her daughter's marriage.
As a result they never saw each other again for over eight years. But this time, Hiko threw away his pride, because he really missed Shiina and he really wanted to meet his grandson who he had never seen. (To be able to find the address of his daughter's house he had to put in quite a lot of effort, because he was not good at using modern technology)
When Hiko arrived in front of her daughter's house, in the courtyard of the house she saw a seven-year-old child performing complex martial arts moves that a seven-year-old shouldn't be able to do. Of course Hiko was shocked and confused by what he had just seen, because he had never seen a child at that age perform complex martial arts moves so skillfully before.
Even he who was called the greatest martial art genius in Japan when he was a child, was only able to perform moves as complex as the movements that the little boy did when he was in his teens.
When Hiko looked at the boy's face in detail, he realized that the boy's face had a resemblance to his daughter's. That's when he immediately knew that the little boy who was practicing martial arts in his daughter's yard was his grandson whom he had never met. Hiko then approached the little boy and asked him;
"Hey kid, what are you doing here?"
"Hmm?..I'm practicing so that my body doesn't stiffen," Ranma answered, confused by the appearance of a tall man wearing a strange robe and having a katana tucked in his waist. "So what? And Uncle why did you suddenly asking me that?"
"The move that you do was almost impossible to do for a child at your age," Hiko explained. "The moves you do supposed to be can only be done by a martial arts experts who have practiced for at least a dozen years, so I wonder who trained you, to the point you able to do that kind of moves."
"I wasn't train by anyone," Ranma said who was a bit annoyed by Hiko's presence. "I created all the martial arts moves that you just saw, after I felt inspired by the martial arts scenes in the kung fu movies I watched."
Ranma felt bad having to lie to other people, but he had no other choice in this matter. Because it was impossible for Ranma to tell everyone that he was a reincarnated person from another dimension and all the martial moves he did was something he learned in his past life. Ranma felt that no one would believe him if he talking about that.
"Hmm, you can make such a complicated movement because you was inspired by a kung fu movie? Your martial arts talent is really extraordinary, kid," Hiko said who felt that Ranma was not telling all the truth to him. "I'm also a martial arts expert, you know. Do you want to do a simple spar with me? I want to know how strong you are kid."
"Hmm sparring? okay!" Ranma said who was feel happy because he could finally fight against someone. "But before we spar may I know your name, uncle? It doesn't feel good to fight someone without knowing the name of the person you're going to fight!"
"My name is Hiko Seijuro the Thirteenth, the last heir of the ancient sword style Hiten Mitsurugi." Hiko said with a smirk. "Since I've already told you my name, now it's your turn to introduce yourself, boy."
"My name is Kamijou Touma, and I really can't wait to spar with you old man!"
