Luka woke up confused on where he was rubbing his eyes he noticed Lillith who was asleep with her on the bed resting it on her arm. He smiled softly at the sleeping Lillith and patted her head causing her to wake up. She looked up at him and began to cry. " What's wrong why are you crying?"- " You jerk! you should have told me the truth I was scared I lost you last night!" -" takes more than that to kill me little girl"-" that's a lie! you almost bleed out!"-"whatever I don't need you nagging me"-"Fine eat shit! I'm leaving!" Lillith stood up and stormed out of the room and slammed the door.
Luka sighed and got up wincing in pain as the nurse walked in and pushed him back down on the bed. "oh no you're not going anywhere yet and she has a right to be angry with you she was the one that carried your ass here. I'd say she saved your life. And here you are being selfish just to keep up a tough guy act to push the poor girl away." He laid back and draped his arm over his eyes feeling bad " I'll apologize when she calms down".
Lillith walked to the cafeteria by herself not wanting to be around him . Sitting down at a table with alone and began eating her meal. "Hey I've been looking for you." a voice called out to her she looked up to see Luka smiling at her and she glared up at him and kept eating. He sighed and sat down. "not going to talk to me now?" she ignored him not even giving him a glance. " look I'm sorry for not telling and going off on you I'm not use to someone worrying about me"-" you shouldn't have lied or at least tried to seek help when we arrived instead of trying to fix it yourself"-" I know know and I'm sorry I'll be more considerate ".-" fine I forgive you! geez let me eat". he laughed and ate with her.
once Luka was healed the Dean called them in to his office. "I have a task for you guys all student in this school must do missions as field experience and this ones for you. three other students will be joining you. You need to work together and find the vampires nest in New City they've been leaving bodies left and right you're not to engage just find it and report it to me." Lillith and Luka nodded heading out to the entrance after packing to meet the other teammates.
"You must be the two newbies we were told was joining us I'm Jean" said a blonde headed girl smiling at them she was cute with a pixie cut hair style. "oh and this is Renivier my twin brother and Donatello" she pointed the two boys who were oogaling Lillith. Luka glared at them "Can you stop staring at her with your undressing eyes it's disgusting" Lillith looked at him in surprise as the boys looked away not wanting to deal with Luka.
Ren unlocked his black SUV and looked at Lillith's short stature "Do you need help getting miss uh....."-"Oh I forgot to introduce myself I'm Lillith and he's Lukanis" -" well here take my hand I'll hoist you up" before Lillith could take his hand Luka smacked his hand away. "There is no need she's riding with me and not a pervert like you." He pointed a his bike that looked like the old on with its black color, purple and blue flames painted across it. "I thought your bike was totaled"-"i had someone pick it up and get it fixed for me like I would ever abandon this baby" she smiled as he tossed her a purple helmet with Rose's painted on it "what happen to the pink one?-"i saw you didn't like it so I got you a new one do you like it? also is that a new dress?"-"i do it's pretty and it's not new it was parting gift from someone". She.looked down at her dress it looked like the old one but modified with holes in the back for her wings and a hood to cover her head and hide the holes. There were pockets on the inside to tuck her wings in discreetly. set with lace gloves, stockings and an pair of black boots. Luka thought she looked cute in it.
He gestured her to get on his bike and she put on her helmet and got on. He sped away with Ren following behind. They pulled to a Inn after arriving in New City and booked a room.
"So now what do we do?" Renivier asked looking at everyone. Jean stood up off the chair she was sitting in and spoke "For now we relax and wait for a lead we'll start our search in the morning Lillith and I will go get some food you boys....Go take a bath! you smell!" Lillith giggled as they looked at Jean with glares. Jean grabbed Lillith's hand as she lead her away to a small shop near by.
When they got back Jean and Lillith took a bath together. "Your hair is so pretty Lillith it's so soft and shiny" jean said while holding a strand of Lillith's hair. "It is? I've always saw it as a pain in the butt it's so unruly and annoying. yours is cuter." They both giggled as they stepped out of the bath and got into their night clothes.
Everyone was already asleep except Lillith and Luka. She turned and tossed unable to sleep she finally sat up and saw Luka out on the balcony and decided to join him. "can't sleep?" he asked noticing her standing behind him "No the bed's not comfortable what about you?" -" I stayed up to keep watch I do have to protect you."-" but you need sleep"-" I told you before sleep is for the weak little girl " she glared at him and huffed leaning on the railing. They stayed up and chatted with each other as the others slept.
