Luka was nervous and pacing his bedroom floor. After all this time they had spend together and now theres a ball and he wanted to ask her to go with him. He huffed looking in his bathroom's mirror, smoothing out his long hair and and put it up in a man bun as usual. he walked out of his room and knocked on Lillith's door.
Hearing the knock she called out "come in". Luka opened the door to see her sitting at her mirror brushing her smooth black hair. She turned around and smiled at him and his heart jumped into his throat. "oh uh hi so um I wanted to ask you something" .
"Yes?" She looked at him curiously. Luka began to sweat as he spoke. "will you go to the dance with me?" Lillith blushed deeply and nodded. Luka smiled and walked out the door as Lillith called her father to pick out a dress for her. She giggled after calling him as she felt all warm and fuzzy inside. She was happy it was like he was starting to notice her and he had become a lot more nicer to her. Lillith jumped on to her bed and began to scream with joy into her pillow.
Luka stood in the ball room nervously as he waited for Lillith to appear. His hair let down as it reached the middle of his back, he wore a black suit which made him uncomfortable due he hated dressing up. Pacing back and forth his black shiny shoes tapped loudly on on the floor. He adjusted the red rose on his chest pocket. He looked up to see a girl staring at the stairs in amazement "shes so pretty" he heard some of the people say as the gawked.
Lukanis turned around to see what they were staring at and ended up meeting eyes with the most eye opening sight. There Lillith stood at the top of the stairs her jewel purple eyes meeting his gaze. She wore a Purple dress with black Roses bordering it and a black lace train flowing behind it, the dress brought out her eyes as they twinkled in the lights. Her black hair in a bun with another rose accenting it but that one was purple. She had black lace gloves, and in Lukanis's eyes she looked graceful like a princess.
She made her way down the stair slowly as Luka met her half way and held out his hand. She smiled and took it as he guided her to the floor. The ball room was so lovely with it's high glass ceiling that shown the night sky and let in a soft moon light. As the music played she began to hate it so she barged up on to the stage and took the microphone smiling as she began to sing. "darkness is my enemy.
But I'll never fall
I'll pour my light
I'll shine brighter than the sun
soon one day I'll show them
I'll be the new sun
I'll fight till my last breath." as she sang everyone watched in amazement of her soft voice as if it was hypnotic. Luka Stared in shock as he began to remember something of the time he met a little girl when he was a boy she was sitting by the river singing the same song. the band that was on stage and shrugged beginning to play along to her singing. But as she sang her powers began to manifest as each step she took while dancing like a ballerina a gold light would appear under her foot. She began to shimmer as well and everyone thought it was just effects and danced along. To them she looked like a goddess up on the stage.
They held eachother close as they danced while the others just stared in awe. Unfortunately Stellar was leaning against the wall with her arms crossed glaring at the two angrily. Luka let go of Lillith as he went to go get her a drink and Stellar saw opportunity to go harass her. She began to approached her stomping her feet. when suddenly something crashed through the ceiling. Causing the glass the fall on every one as the students screamed and began scuttling every where in a panic.
Lillith looked around for Luka scared of what was going on when a man appeared in front of her With a grin he reached out to grab her arm. Lillith screamed and ran from him. Calling for Luka as the man chased after her she turned and gave the man a hard slap stunning him she began to run away again.
Luka met her in the hall and grabbed her hand as they ran. The dean came into their path and gestured them to follow him. They ran to his office and he pushed a bookshelf to the side revealing a trap door. He ushered the two in to the hidden door as banging could be heard from the other side of the office door. The attackers were aware some one was in the room as they began to break in. Kent grabbed his sword's hilt as it was attached to his hip and gestured the kids to get moving. Luka dragged the protesting Lillith down the stairs as she didn't want to leave Kent behind. and Kent shut the door and covered it in time as the office door bursted off its hinges and he drew his sword seeing demons enter and Alifair who was aware of the danger began to make his escape to keep out of the way.
Luka pulled Lillith along as they finally made it to the bottom of the hidden area and the pitch darkness enveloped them. he began to search for a way to bring some light in and Lillith lifted her hand and let a small flame surround her hand to shine light revealing a tunnel in front of them. They could hear fighting above them as Kent was fending off blood lusting demons.
"Luka he could get hurt". -" Hell be fine we need to get moving he is prioritizing defending the school for other student's lives". she sighed and followed Luka through the tunnel while above them was Alifair running through the school dodging the snatching claws of demons as he rallied the students to stand up and grab weapons to defend themselves. he grabbed the overcom mic and began to speak in the nurses office. "You must fight! to survive all students are here by permitted to weapon usage for defense but if it means costing your lives evacuation is in effect. choose your battle wisely and fight only to escape."
The students began to grab something of use for fending off the invaders as the began to fight their way out. Luka lead the way through the tunnels as the began to find their way out. finally reaching another trap door. He climbed up the stairs and kicked open the door causing it to slam open. The door had lead them to their dorm which was surrounded by demons in search of the two. Luka looked down at Lillith and he gestured her to stay put. "I need to go get my weapons stay here I'll be back."-"What about pilot?" -"he'll be fine he is a dragon he'll fly off and find us if needed".
She nodded and and let Luka close the door to conceal her. He began to sneak around the dorm's grounds to find and entrance. Finding an unguarded window, He managed to pry it open and slipped in side quietly. Making sure to leave the window open for an escape for the dragon, he crept around quiet as mouse to his room and silently closed the door as he uncovered his hidden stash of grenades, guns, ammunition, swords, and daggers. grabbing a duffel bag he began packing and grabbed a set of clothes and began to sneak out of his room dodging the sight of demons patrolling the area as he made his way to Lillith's room and grabbed a set of clothes for her. He snuck out the same window he entered as he saw Pilot hiding under a table watching him. Luka gestured pilot to exit the window and took off. pilot wasn't far behind as he flew out of the home.
