As Xavier only needed 20 bronze to enter the Brotherhood, and 3 bronze was enough to buy a good amount to eat and store quite a bit for later but he wanted to get some materials - quality wooden planks, nails, etc - to improve on his shoddy shack however he couldn't as he needed to get some good looking clothes to enter the Brotherhood hideout in town. Xavier walked through the town, attracting quite a few scornful gazes with his beggar-like looks, until he reached a clothes store where he bought rather plain clothes made with decent materials.
Xavier also got some water to clean his dirty face then he made his way to the Brotherhood hideout. In most cities the hideouts were the most busy places, but that was just the case for cities in Sedor. The Brotherhood held almost excecutive power in Sedor, as the master of the Brotherhood Tanya was an advisor to the king of Sedor. In the hideouts, the Brotherhood would post bounties on people, post requests and send men to look for talented warriors. Xavier entered the large hall, it was full of people as the streams of people going in and out suggested, and, after some waiting, walked towards the desk with a free receptionist.
"Could i apply for a Warriors License?" Xavier said,
The receptionist replied with an unchanging look "Show me your citizenship license", Xavier fumbled around for a bit before placing a metal card on the table. The license was made of a metal called magic-tin, it was a cheap metal that barely reacted to magic just enough to contain a stamp and a name, all of the 'commoners' licenses were made of magic-tin. The recptionist continued " Okay, hand over the 20 bronze and i'll brand your card and you'll become a 0 glory Warrior." Warriors weren't seperated by a class system rather missions were given a difficulty and completing it would grant a warrior 'glory' once they got over 100 glory they would be moved to the ranking list, where they would be ranked in terms of glory.
Xavier inched his card closer to the receptionist and handed over an assortment of bronze and iron which made up 20 bronze, though it was an annoying way to do things they wouldn't refuse money when it was handed to them. Once the receptionist branded it, he took it back, his eyes wondered over to a large noticeboard surrounded by a large amount of people.
"I recommend taking an 0 glory requirement, class c mission first. It may be easy enough for a normal person to do, but at least you can get started earning glory." the receptionist said seeing that he was looking at the mission board. Xavier walked over to the board and stood next to 2 tall men, they were like giants around 220cm(7ft) tall that may seems enormous but the average height of Warriors is 180cm(6ft), Xavier stood a head beneath them. Xavier looked at the many requests and bounties
"Help wanted! Kill 3 Geyser Shrews, 20 glory Class B, grants 10 glory 1 silver" he saw a variety of notices "I need help! infestation of greyrats - at least 1 greater greyrat-, 0 glory Class A, grants 5 glory 25 bronze" or "Kill this creature *sketch of some grotesque thing*, 120 glory Class A, grants 30 glory 1 gold" and ended picking up the one about exterminating an infestation of greyrats. Greyrats were the number one most annoying species that could infest a house, they consume just about anything from stone to flesh, and they usually infest a house while the females are pregnant so that their children has food to eat to grow quickly. If a greater greyrat cannot secure a home when the children are pregnant, the children will cannibalise each other to survive and become strong.
Xavier took the notice down and walked towards the receptionist, placing the notice before the receptionist he said "I'll take this one" Xavier knew his choice was quite hasty, usually new Warriors would take Class C or B missions to start with, but ever since his meditation earlier today he had felt incomparably stronger almost like the energy in his body was lit a light.
