'Hmm? Wha-?' Hualing felt something poking on her cheeks. She wanted to sleep more.
*Poke**Poke*
*Poke**Poke*
Hualing got irritated but still chose to not bother with it and continue to sleep.
But her little wish was not granted as that annoying finger keeps on poking her cheeks and then...
*Poke* *Poke*
"!!!" ...her nose got squashed. "Ahh! Uwaaa! Waa~oooh!"
Translation: "Fck! That's it! Stop poking me you a-hole!" Hualing felt her veins pop as she opened her now glaring eyes burning with hatred and rage before opening her mouth and...
*Chomp*
'Scream in pain! My teeth had just been sharpened by none other an me!' Hualing felt proud of it as she started to put more force in it. Her eyes glistened brilliantly in mischief as she continued to chomp on the finger.
But something seemed so wrong right now. She had not heard any wince or groan from pain, only silence. 'What is happening?'
She blinked her eyes that was suddenly bewildered by this strange occurence. She also stopped chomping on the finger and trailed up to look at the person who was the culprit of it all. There, she saw a man with red eyes staring down on her with such a menacing look on his face.
The man had a dark blue hair that glistened like fine silk. His brows were fine and elegant with a straight nose accompanied by thin red lips. But what was more striking in him was his glowing red eyes and these same eyes were looking at Hualing who had seemed to forgot to think and stared foolishly at the handsome man in front of her.
"Pa-princess, let go of His Majesty's finger." Josy, who had became Hualing's nanny, cried out in a hurry. She got scared as she reminded Hualing to not bite on the Emperor's finger. She felt her heart drop and her blood run cold. She tightened her hold of the princess and bowed her head. "I-I'm s-sorry, Your Majesty. The little princess is still young and does not know much since she had just been born yesterday."
"Handsome man, you're really handsome. Can you be mine?" She asked, drool dripping down from the corner of her lips as she looked at the Emperor like he was some sort of desert.
The Emperor, however, did not understand what Hualing was saying. But that would be the best because if he did, he does not know what to do with his daughter.
"Do you see my finger as a pacifier?" The emperor asked with raised eyebrow. He got a handkerchief that was offered to him from one of his aides and wiped it clean. After that, he leaned down and stared curiously at the daughter he just had.
"..." Hualing blinked her eyes as realization hit her so hard on the face that it would probably made a palm print on her cheek. She was...a baby? Baby ah! A baby with a twenty-nine-year-old soul living in it. And she has to redo all of her childhood.
'That shtty old hag...no, that cunning little fairy! I swear, if you ever show yourself in front of me, I will surely tie you up and put you in a bottle where spiders are!' She thought while grinding her teeth...gums, rather.
'If anything, I just hope that you put me in a very beautiful baby.' This was Hualing's true wish surfacing from the bottom of her heart.
"Your eyes..." He muttered before squinting it and straightened his back to turn around and walk away. However, before he could get out of the door, he added, "Take her to my palace tomorrow."
"Yes, Your Majesty." Josy bowed her head with a trembling voice. After she was sure that the Emperor was already out of earshot, she looked down on the baby she was holding and said with a saddened face, "That man, your highness, is your father emperor."
'Oh? That handsome man was an emperor and what's more, he is my father?' Hualing clicked her tongue in her mind and asked.
"O-ooo~! Waaaooo. Aahhh." She asked. Translation: "So who is my mother?"
Josy turned sideways for a quick moment before wiping her tear quickly.
"Your...your mother, princess..." Josy's voice quivered as tears pooled at the corner of her eyes that was threatening to slip down her cheeks. "My poor little princess. To have you lose your mother so early like that, it was just too much."
'Since my father was so beautiful, I should have inherited his handsome look.' She thought.
"So where is my mother?"
Josy, who looked at the bright and unblemished face of Elliana made her motherly instinct to be tugged, pursed her lips as if she stared straight at Elliana's eyes if reading Hualing's thoughts.
"Your mother...she spent her last hours holding you and telling you how much she loved you, princess."
Hualing felt she did not deserve to be called "princess" because it made her quite uncomfortable. She was not used to it at all. But what was more surprising now was what she had just heard.
'So the woman holding me until I fell asleep was my mother?' Hualing's eyes widened, feeling very surprised about this bomb that they had just thrown at her.
----------------
Hualing, now Elliana, felt like crying as she stared at her boring high ceiling. There were no toys around her but if there was, she could not play with it because she was still a day old baby.
'This is so freaking boring. So tiring.'
What Hualing did was to sleep, eat, nap, eat and eat and eat nad sleep. He did not think at all that something was running at full speed toward them .
'So I am going to meet him tomorrow. He sounded so deep and serious, almost choking me with his overwhelming kingly pressure. Good thing that he did not remain long.' Hualing thought but then her stomach made a low growling sound indicating that she was hungry.
But then, her lower part seemed to feel hot as wet...
'Fck! I can't believe I wet myself. So humiliating!' Hualing seriously wanted to find a hole and hide from there. She did not even realize that she wanted to go wee-wee.
'But this...is so uncomfortable.' After that, she cried so hard for the second time when she had crossed over.
Good thing that palace maids were there stationed to watch over her. She got herself cleaned up and dressed into fresh clothes. She was also fed with milk. After that, she fell asleep.
When Hualing opened her eyes, another commotion erupted in her surroundings. Not only them as even Josy, her nanny, was staring at her weirdly sa if she, Hualing, had just grown a second head.
"What are you looking at, nanny?"
