After their time together, Cyra wasn't that bothered and left without saying a word. She still needed to go and get new weapons. As such, she returned to the Heavenly Sect Golden district, this time to buy deity weapons. She was followed by Anna, who decided to accompany her on this shopping trip.
"Why did you decide to come with me?" Wondered Cyra.
"I might be able to help you, lady Cyra, believe it or not!" Joked Ana.
"How so?" Questioned Cyra.
"I still have my title as venerable, remember?" Chuckled Ana as she found Cyra's question incredibly funny.
Most of the sect higher-ups became close to Cyra even if she rarely talked her self. Her way of operating the sect given many of the higher echoes freedom as she never ordered them to do Anything, as many got attached to her as she always listened.
Her hardworking way was also respected by many. Furthermore, they knew the beast's legend; as such many of them were unwilling to offend her. In contrast, others decided to get close to her to seek even more opportunities to rise in power.
Even now, Cyra was walking around as a Wusun at her current strength. She was capable of observing three levels above and three levels below; as such, her observation capabilities were astonishing.
For this trip, Cyra took the identity of a Collider inheritance discipline while also wearing a fox mask. This identity was unique enough that nobody would bother her during her stay here.
As for Ana, she was wearing her old Golden robes. It was a little bit of change yet nostalgic feeling for her.
Upon entering, she led Cyra to a VIP weapon crafting machine. After a while, Cyra couldn't help but ask, "Is there any way to get more unique weapons?"
"Unique? We should try the hundred-year auction, but it might be hard to get seats for it."
"Oh, why is that?" Asked Cyra.
"Sigh.. to earn the right for that auction, you either need to have an important item or high enough rank in a sect, even as a Heavenly Venerable, I was not allowed to enter that place."
"Hmm.. now I'm interested in showing me where is that auction house."
Ana took Cyra to another district known as dreamland, where Cyra finally saw the Heavenly Choices auction house.
"What's so different about this place that you couldn't enter it?"
To this, Ana pulled out her bracelet that showed the items, every single one of them. "These are viewable for exactly 100 years, the main items of the auction rarely change as such the buyers could gather money for what they wanted."
"Come, let's go and change it." Ana was a bit surprised by Cyra's remark but complied and followed closely behind her.
Enter inside the auction house. They were immediately welcomed by the sight of countless people from different sects.
They were there for a regular auction, which just ended not long ago. As such, the entrance was incredibly crowded.
Pushing through themselves, they caught many people's eyes, and most of them were looking at them hatefully.
Before Cyra reached the counter, she was stopped by a fellow inheritance discipline, a Conqueror Kir from the Grace Sect.
"Fellow brother, you should wait in line until we leave before bargaining inside."
Cyra wasn't that good with words nor had any interest in wasting them on a nobody; as such, she directly broke his arm and kicked him in the stomach.
The boy's angry cries were heard by everyone present, and they turned their heads towards the commotion caused by the Collider sect.
They were surprised to see that the sect that cared most about their image would do such a barbaric act and cripple someone's arm without any reason.
Arrived at the counter, Cyra took out the 5 Shadow Crystals and placed them on the counter right before the receptionist, who was still shocked by Cyra's ruthlessness.
She quickly called a supervisor because she had no idea what those 5 Crystals were; when the supervisor arrived, he directly fainted; they had to call in the director to deal with the issue as there were not many things that could cause that kind of reaction.
When the director arrived, he also looked at the 5 Crystals and understood what happened. In the end, he couldn't blame the supervisor.
Even he could barely contain his excitement for witnessing such a treasure bought to his doorstep.
"Please this way." He also recognized the Venerable Ana but decided to don't ask. It seemed that the seller was the little discipline. He could quickly tell that who made the calls between the 2, as Ana would never be able to come in here alone.
The crowd had similarly surprised expressions as they were expecting a fight but came out empty-handed as the discipline left.
Nothing fewer rumors has begun to spread about the fox masked inheritance discipline of the Heavenly Sect.
The director took them to a private room, and before Anna could say Anything, he spoke up. "I'm sorry, but we are unable to sell this item, but perhaps I could offer you another solution. Have you ever heard of the Deity Trade Square?."
Ana was momentarily surprised by the sudden turn of events, but then she regained her calm and explained to Cyra. "The Deity Trade Square is a place where you could trade items for items, but everything depends on how much an item worth to each individual."
"I see. Where is this so-called Deity trade square?" Inquired Cyra, while Ana was also currently listening on the side, even though she didn't know its location.
"It's called the Lonely Road. You can find this place in the green district. The longer you walk it, the more expensive things get until the point where you will only leave with the option of trading."
Cyra threw a bit of Tylium on the table, then held onto Ana and teleported to the Lonely Road. During the competition, she was there once.
"Where are we?" Asked the bit dizzy Ana as the teleportation wasn't as comfortable as it seemed.
"Lonely Road."
As they walked forward, the surroundings slowly became more affluent and more prosperous, than suddenly the crowd has ended, and all was left is a peaceful and relaxing market place.
Deities and Nogais were walking everywhere, and they would stop and talk with each other to look for goods; some created stands and sold their gods that way while others were quietly sitting and waiting for a screamer who announced what the most expensive items that were reported to him, every day at noon were.
Cyra eventually walked to a restaurant and took her sit by a table, enjoying the view. Ana joined her to wait.
Ana didn't know or couldn't know that they were being observed the moment they entered, and scouts were trying to find out what they bought inside the Lonely Road.
Soon 3 hours have passed, and nothing happened, not even a waiter came to take their orders as such Ana was growing impatient.
Eventually, a scout walked to their table, placed his hat on the table, and took place directly by Cyra's side. "What do you trade or what do you wish to trade for?"
"I'm trading life's, and I'm looking for weapons."
"Elaborate both."
"I'm selling five deals with the Devil." Said Cyra as she pulled out 5 Shadow Crystals, "I'm looking for two pairs of weapons or four similar weapons of deity or higher."
The scout could barely contain his excitement. Deals with the Devil were indeed rare life-saving Crystals that could even bring the dead back to life.
The weapons seemed relatively easy to get good quality even with one deal, not to mention 5.
After the scout left in a hurry, Cyra's status was marked to the people present as passed and open for trade massage would appear on the people bracelet the moment they walked past her.
Cyra eventually ordered some wine and looked at the bustling crowd with ease, waiting for the announcement to appear.
But it didn't happen, unknowingly to her. The scout alerted the higher-ups, and one by one, VIP traders entered the Lonely Road to get the Deal With The Devil.
Since 5 Crystals were shown, only the top 5 have been alerted by the goods appearing on the market. Many of them searched their whole lives for just one chance to bring back their loved ones to life.
The first person to approach Cyra was a rather strange man. He looked like someone in his early twenties. The man was wearing a purple robe created from fine fabric, and white fur was all over his hood.
He spent many hours circling Cyra until he decided to approach her. Even then, the utmost disdain was visible in his eyes as a god looked down on insects, as a nobleman was looking at commoners.
When they were face-to-face, he didn't waste his time and placed the 5 Glaives of Rift on the table. In return, Cyra gave her a Shadow Crystal, and he quickly disappeared.
The Five Glaives Of Rift were Deity classed weapons for sure, but Cyra did not know their origin or the trader strength as she was too weak to sense it.
Because Cyra didn't establish direct contact with the person that the Shadow Crystal was used on, she didn't see their life nor strength but instead, she saw a glimpse of the desire of the person who used the Shadow Crystal.
This is how Cyra could hear the man's voice 6 hours after he left. It was a weird experience as she saw what the man wished to see.
To experience simple dose pleasures again would worth Anything! To feel her touch, to see her laugh, to touch her warm body. I gravely miss all dose moments, and I wish to see her. I always dreamed of seeing her smile one last time.
Another 6 hours later, a woman appeared before the two of them. She was the one who received the Shadow Crystal, Cyra could feel the Shadow Essence inside her.
But there was something else. There were traces of blood remaining on the woman's nails as if she had killed someone during her journey here.
It looks like the Nobleman love was a rather one-sided one as this woman was wearing his robes, and his blood tainted her hands.
She slowly walked before Cyra and fallen to her knees to greet her new master, "Greetings, my master o great Beast."
Even if Cyra didn't directly contact them, they still saw her memories due to the blood.
"What is your strength? How strong of a deity are you?" Inquired Cyra as she looked at her while sipping her Wine.
"Reporting to master I'm a Divine Deity!"
"Good.. that's indeed a good catch. Sit with us. We are waiting for another four individuals." Cyra waved her hands and invited her servant to join them. She happily agreed and sat directly by her side.
"How should I call you?"
"Anything is fine. I'm not that attached to names." Declared the woman.
"Eve, from now on, your name is Eve!"
Cyra was expected to get attacked by the first man to come to her and was ready to transform into a Death when someone tried to attack her.
Luckily her first visitor was a noble gentleman who wouldn't resort to robbing people as his pride was more potent than Anything Cyra has ever seen.
He gave up the 5 Glaives to look at the devilish woman who stole his heart, a rather tragic story, yet there were still 4 to go.
