Lily Suzuki, a girl who was forced to be perfect, died.
What? What's this? I'm crying? No.. I shouldn't cry. I'm not allowed to cry. Mother and father would be upset.
Tears roll down Lily's face. The tears wouldn't stop no matter how hard Lily tries to stop it. In Lily's past life, she was never allowed to cry. She has to bottle it up in a huge jar. Now, the jar couldn't contain anymore tears so it shattered.
But.. it's fine right? They're not here. I'm free.. right? I'm not a celebrity who has to pretend everything is fine, right? My parents won't be able to abuse me anymore, right?
Living as Lily Suzuki should be the same as living as any other average celebrities, right? I mean, she was talented and liked by many people. It probably would've been normal if her parents weren't so strict. If she disobeyed her parents will give her a cold, icy stare as a warning. If she still disobeyed, they will give her a cruel, heartless beating that couldn't even be described by words. When she was just born her parents started making her stand. By one month she was able to talk. She learned how to walk by 2 months old, read and write when she was only 4 months. She learned how to draw, dance, sing, cook, swim, and play all types of instruments before she was 7 years old. Lily wasn't allowed to cry, let alone complain about all the work she had to do. She became famous because of all her talents. She was homeschooled by her parents since she was famous. Lily could of course tell the police about her parents' cruel beatings but she couldn't. Whenever she felt like telling the police about it, she remembers her mother telling her "You must be perfect if you want a bright future. We are only doing this for your own good." Lily knows it is just an excuse to get her to be perfect but she didn't want to believe it was just an excuse. She wanted to believe that her parents genuinely cared for her. She wanted to believe that her parents aren't using her to make themselves famous and that they only wanted her for her money. At times when she wanted to kill herself, she'll tells herself "It will all pay off in the future". In the end, only at the age of 15, she died.
Of course, before she died, she was afraid of her parents. She wanted their love but she was also afraid of them. She has been afraid of them for as long as she can remember, which was since she was 1 month old. How is that possible? Even Lily doesn't know. Babies usually start remembering at the age of 3, not when they are only a month old. The most reasonable explanation she can come up with is that she has photographic memory. But even so, people with photographic memory don't remember when they are in infant.
Her most talented talent is probably her talent of not losing the will to live. She didn't die of suicide but of a car accident. Most people won't be able to carry on if they were being abused since they were only a baby. They wouldn't want to continue. Lily managed to because she wanted to believe that her parents loved and cared for her even though deep down she knows they don't. The only love she receives are from her fans but that's only because she's talented. They don't know anything else about her. She is well aware that if her parents didn't force her to be talented, her fans wouldn't give her a second glance. Lily isn't allowed to interact with her fans since her parents are afraid Lily might tell them something. The only people she is allowed to talk to are her parents and the people her parents allow her to interact with. Her fans didn't mind that. They just brushed it off and will always say something along the lines of her character being "cool". She got herself the nickname "Untouchable Beauty".
It is also amazing how she was able gain all those talents. Normally, no matter how much you force someone to be talented, hard work alone isn't enough. Sure if can help, but not when it comes to acquiring that many talents. But it is good that she's able to do it. There is no telling what her parents might do to her if she can't. Her parents were always clever on where and how to abuse her. It was a lot worse in winter since she has to wear long sleeves during that time. They would make her wear long sleeves all throughout the year but that will be too suspicious. During the summer, they would hit her on her upper thigh or back. They would also make sure her costumes won't show her skin on those areas. People won't question them since they understand that she's only a child and don't need to be showing skin. The abuse did decrease when she is 10 though. Mainly because Lily was able to become her parents' "perfect puppet".
