"She may be a stranger to you--to me--" the Wind Familiar started. "--but she doesn't deserve this kind of treatment just because you guys are all jealous."
Aranea blinked her eyes a few times, not expecting that Beau could spout these mature lines to protect her!
"B-but Beau--"
"No," Beau immediately interrupted, his smile turning slightly cold. "I may be a flirtatious man whom you want to woo and get involved with..."
Beau then pulled Aranea closer to him, his body more forward as if to hide the Summoner away from prying eyes so he could protect her.
"But no one is allowed to talk down about my future Summoner in any way. I will not tolerate that."
"B-Beau!"
The girls were all flabbergasted and most of them gasped at his sudden display of aloofness. With Beau then walking away, he gently grabbed Aranea with her, the Summoner still befuddled with his sudden display of protection.
