Chapter 25 - Under The Moon, A Hooded Man Showed Up

The moon's light shined ever so greatly over the destroyed area where Katsuya had previously fought the vampire. After he had lost consciousness, he was rushed to a hospital. All that remained of the area was mainly ruble and broken houses. Pieces of the vampire's body were still laying all around. It was quite, perhaps a little too quiet. Not one person was still around, for the most part, it was all deserted. Out of the darkness of the night was a man wearing a long grey hooded cloak. The shade of his hood covered his entire face, all that was visibly were his glowing white eyes. He walked over to the remains of the vampire and held his hand out, speaking a phrase.

"Resurrect."

The entire ground area was brightly shining green and the vampire's body part began glowing white. Slowly, it grew into the shape of a body and the glowing lights faded away, as fats as they had apeared. The vampire's body had been restored to look exactly like he had never been ripped apart. Every feature was still there, his pale white skin and even his long white hair. His eyes were closed and he would lay motionless on the floor as if he were still dead.

The hooded man then spoke.

"Awaken."

The vampire's yellow eyes opened ever so suddenly, glowing in the gloomy darkness. He slowly sat up and stared at his hands in surprise.

"Wasn't I...just dead?"

His shining yellow eyes looked to the side, noticing the hooded man. He knew exactly what had happened.

"Oh, I get it. You brought me back, didn't you?" the vampire asked right before jumping to his feet.

The hooded man began speaking in a raspy and weird tone.

"Yessssss, that is correct. You're powerrr.... wilI be usfulll, yessss, very usfulll. I have resurrected…. you for a purpose. You will … serve under the organization, if you wish to keep living."

The vampire was not one to take command from anyone, so naturally, he declined the offer.

"Hah...Why should I work for your little organization? No being can control me, Vamp, an ancient vampire. If that's all you have to say then, I'll be draining you of your life force now."

The vampire sprung forward and reached out to grab the man but suddenly felt his body stop against his will. It felt like his entire body had just been paused. There was a mystical blue light surrounding the antire outside of the vampire body as he tried to move...but, he did not succeed as the mysterious force that had a hold of him was just too great.

The hooded man's raspy voice began speaking once more.

"My powerrrrr, issssss far greater than yourssssss. If I wanted to….I could send you back to the afterlife. Unfortunately, I have other orders. I was told to recruit you. Have you changed your mind?"

Still frozen in a running pose, Vamp spoke, sounding as if he was struggling for air.

"I...get it. Very...well, i'll cooperate."

The blue light vanished and the vampire fell straight to his knees, gasping for air. He lifted his head and asked the mysterious man a question.

"What's your name? You have incredible power, beyond even me. Just who are you?"

The hooded man turned around and a glowing yellow portal appeared.

"I will tell you only what you need to know, later. For...right now...you will follow me."

"Whatever you say." Vamp replied.

The man walked into the portal, disappearing as the vampire followed behind.
